Great! Before resting, Khessa, galvanized by her many successes, practically no longer feels the consequences of the fighting she endured. And after resting, she studies for a while her spellbook with its cover decorated with cobweb-like motifs, next to Master Akkron.
[[ Before taking the Short Rest, Khessa uses her Second Wind fighter's feature, haeling herself back to full. And when the shor rest is over she uses her Arcane Recovery wizard's feature to get back 2 1st level spell slots and 1 3rd level spell slot ]]
After that, the blonde arcane warrior leaves her trusty Anator to fly around like a common bat... Should the familiar see that the prisoners are managing to free themselves (or if he sees that someone arrives and approaches to free them) he will immediately warn Khessa telepathically.
Alfred (the Shield Guardian) instead remains with the tall adventuress - who is now ready to re-enter the dungeon and finish what has been started.
Akkron recovers a 5th-level spell slot, a 4th-level spell slot, and a 2nd-level slot (11 total levels; his Arcane Grimoire allows him to recover 1 extra spell slot with Arcane Recovery).
He will go ahead and leave the zombie with the prisoners.
"He might not look like much... but unlike you, he isn't tied to a tree, So I would strongly advise against doing anything to draw his ire," the lich says, patting the zombie on the shoulder.
He gives the zombie orders to respond quickly and harshly to escape attempts.

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
After securing the prisoners, Tyekanik sits down with his companions and pulls out what seems like two meals, but for him are just a snack, and heals up a bit ((hit dice)). He also cannot help but frown at the use of the zombies, unable to resist the feeling that all undeath should be put back in the ground, but leave it at the sour expression. He then says to the others, “Ok, more heads to cleave? This is quite a kind of fortress it seems.”
"Yes, it really seems like a very large dungeon..." Khessa replies to the Hungry Giant "Evidently, our enemies, like worms, like life underground".
"My husband, Jasper, could have triggered an earthquake and maybe caused the entire structure to collapse..." the blonde arcane warrior smiles, remembering her family "Oh, well, my children, Yondra and Sarvin, are also quite able to cause a disturbance comparable to an earthquake... and without magic to boot! But since my family remained at home, in Phandalin," she winks at Tyekanik "yes, I think we will have to go back down there and collect some more heads. After all, of their heads, these exalted don't seem to make much good use..."
[[ OOC: If we are ready to resume exploration, I would suggest starting again in this room and choosing a door we have not yet opened. Maybe 7? ]]
Akkron can't help but chuckle at the dirty look Tye gives the zombie.
"I'm afraid reanimation is a side effect of some extremely potent offensive spells," the lich says. "Normally I would say to lay the wretch to rest, but right now I don't think we can spare the manpower watching prisoners. Feel free to put him out of his misery when we're finished clearing the base."

Mal takes a short nap and is ready to go when the others are.
After thinking about the area below she suggests, "Why don't we look to the west first and then we can continue to the other doors we have not explored. That way we can possibly make sure we are not missing anything."
[OOC: Thinking going through do the exits 2 or 3 first and then moving on to exit 6.]
After everyone has their short rest, and the sun is barely beginning to rise on the horizon, you check your prisoners, and they are still where they were bound and gagged. Entering back into the complex as you did before, and taking the stairs down, you return to the large supply room with the two dead Zemoch warriors are lying (Did you loot them BTW?)
The door where the woman and the two warriors came out of is in the NW corner (Let's number that 1), then to the west are two more (#2 and #3); the last door you did not explore is just below where you enter the chamber (Let's mark it as #4)
[[ OOC: Good point; we probably forgot to loot the two Zemoch warriors - Khessa will try to amend ]]
Seeing the two corpses still there, lying down, Khessa realizes: "Caught up in the excitement of the captured prisoners and the rush to go to rest, we haven't even checked if these two have anything useful!" and she begins to search them "After all, whatever they had, they no longer need it... we might as well try to make good use of it, if possible".
[[ OOC: However, after the search, Mal's preferred route to continue the exploration was #2, I believe; let's take that one ]]
"Must be losing it, as yea we did forget to loot the bodies, well that won't happen again." Mal says, as she lightly smacks her forehead in disgust. "Ok here we go." She will silently glide down the passageway to see what she sees, looking for traps as she goes.
Khessa has no immediate need for either weapons or armor - so if any of the other adventure companions need something, they can use it freely... otherwise she puts everything in her Bag of Holding to resell the loot at the first opportunity and divide the proceeds with everyone.
The blonde arcane warrior then follows (from a distance) Mal, who is presumably scouting down the passageway #2.
Door 2 opens on to a set of stairs heading up. As you follow them, you come to a door. There is no light at the top, very similar to the door you used to gain access into the place.
Mal will pause at the door and give it a listen, signaling the others to stay back a bit as she will then check the door for traps and if she can not find anything, open it up.

I think we're going to take a short rest outside.

Following the same path you came in; you do not run into any Zemochs and you get to where your horses are tied and conduct your short rest.

This is what has been explored so far

As the bodies remained where they fell, it appears no one has investigated or moved them. They are not trapped in any way.
They have: 2 sets black plate armor; 2 long swords+4; 2 venom daggers; 1 belt pouch with 20gp; 1 belt pouch with a 200gp gem
Mal would happily pocket one of the venom daggers, "Never know when you might need one of these." She smiles wickedly.
