When everyone is ready Jorzu and Laiti will both magically bend the light around themselves and become invisible. Jorzu will descend the ropes and scaffold after Byrony. Once at the bottom he intends to stay by her side and use Laiti to communicate with those left behind. He is ready to move on Byrony's cue.
Jorzu Stealth 15
Laiti Stealth 8
((Both made without advantage as I assume Invisibility doesn't help with climbing quietly))
Bryony nods to Jorzu as he follows her. They climb down the ropes and scaffold. At the bottom, Bryony blends in with the shadows and begins to creep forward, nodding at Jorzu again to follow her. As she moves slowly and carefully, she keeps her senses alert to any sound of approaching guards or any sign of people approaching them.
Bryony, Jorzu, and Laiti slip easily around the lift and work themselves down the shaft and into the mine. ("What are we doing again?" asks Laiti out loud, perhaps a little too loudly.)
Bryony notices an immediate problem. It's pitch black down here. There is no blue illumination, like there is on the floor above – just a dim glow down the shaft from the bunk room. She can see only the immediate area below the shaft, and nothing beyond.
With his gnomish darkvision, Jorzu can see further. He finds himself in the intersection of three tunnels carved through packed earth and rocky sediment, leading northeast, east, and southeast, respectively, through dirt and stone. There are no signs of life or activity.
"Shhh" chiding Laiti for her lack of awareness. Mentally he then tells her; "Head north. No more than 60ft then report back here. Be a good little thing."
He stretches up to whisper in Byrony's ear. "There's three tunnels. I've sent Laiti north. Which way do you want to proceed? I will lead and you just keep your hand on my shoulder. Walk when I walk and stop when I do. Sound good?" He lays out a method for Byrony to move around in a cheerful tone, quite juxtaposed to the eeriness of their situation.
Quinn will follow Bryony and everyone else who chooses to scout. He will take up the rear.
Before descending the shaft, Quinn activates Lightbringer to help illuminate the descent. On the way down he scans the walls of the shaft for any markings, objects or other tunnels. Once they reach the ground level he deactivates Lightbringer to avoid drawing attention to the group.
Quinn whispers to the crew. “Let’s stick together. Try not to get stretched out too far. Remember we’re just scouting.”

Noticing Boona’s vigilance, Fergus thanks her and continue to bind his wounds. Resting briefly and letting his body relax, Fergus considers the relative benefits of rushing to save people from an enemy of unknown capability without waiting to heal versus being too cautious and allowing those we came to save to come to further harm.
Finding no immediate answers, he meditates on his musical magic, waiting for his body and spirit to recover well enough to give his allies their best chance against the next foe.

Jurgen will follow along with Bryony and Jorzu. He will also hand Bryony a small stone that glows and gives light.
The object sheds bright light in a 5-foot radius and dim light for an additional 5 feet.
Jurgen, being of small stature, moes about easily in the cramped tunnel
