"I've got your back" Syzygy says to Jurgan before having a sudden flashback of the Kobold falling on his face in the goblin cave. Felt like, and technically was, a lifetime ago.
Bryony apologizes to her aunt and assures her that everyone is safe and sound in the hayloft. It feels strange to be back in her old room. The familiar sights and comforts of home make her feel safe for the first time in a while, and she falls asleep within minutes once her head touches her old pillow.
When Bryony wakes, she washes up using the pitcher of water and washbasin in her room, then she heads to the kitchen to give her aunt a kiss on the cheek. "We'll be gone most of today, but I promise we'll be back tonight," she says.

When they reach the mouth of the secret tunnel, Bryony peers down into its dark depths and shivers. In response to Kimberly's question, she says, "I'm stealthy, but I'm not blessed with darkvision like the elves." She glances Syzygy's way for a moment.
It feels somewhat less than dignified to slide down into this old hole head first and crawl under the scrubby bushes into what looks like something a wild animal would live in – a dirty, stony, irregular, black hole. But soon the hole becomes wider, and higher, and begins to curve upward. As you follow the rough-hewn passage, it soon becomes all-stone, and then you're able to stand and walk upright.
After about a hundred feet, you emerge in a large natural cavern, carrying the faint scent of decaying flesh. A crevasse with sloped walls divides the cavern and is flanked by two rough stone columns that support the twenty-foot-high ceiling. Two arched, wooden bridges span the chasm. The room is unoccupied, but you see the flickering of oil lamps just out of view in the three adjacent hallways and a distant storeroom of some kind. A cold breeze softly sighs through the cavern system.
Bryony looks at Jurgen curiously. "No," she whispers. "But that is alarming. I can scout ahead. I think I'm the stealthiest of us."
Bryony decides to creep forward into the cavern very slowly, keeping an eye out for the presence of anyone else. Her bare feet make almost no noise as she walks softly along the stone floor.
"Only my own presence," Syzygy frowns quizzically at Jurgen. "Let's fan out, take a peek down the corridors, then head forward, perhaps spoil their stores." As Byrony sneaks ahead Syzygy creeps across the first bridge and perches up beside the hallway immediately to the right. He takes a look.

Bryony creeps forward. Her keen eyes pick up nothing in the dim cavern.
Syzygy quietly begins to cross the first bridge. It looked sturdy enough from a distance, but...
*Crack!* The bridge collapses. Syzygy falls twenty feet or so to the stony bottom, taking 8 bludgeoning damage upon impact. He is now prone, and has landed in a jumble of rubble (difficult terrain). Nearby he sees two goblin corpses with elongated skulls, dressed in filthy, haphazard rags. Also heaped nearby is a humanoid skeleton, its bones picked clean, wearing a carved wooden pendant of some sort. The steep-sided fissure is between 5 and 10 feet wide at the bottom; its rough walls look easily climbed. The bottom of the crevasse feels unnaturally cold, not unlike the crevasse you began to explore earlier.
Bryony feels a chill in her soul. Make a DC12 Constitution saving throw...

Kimberly moves to where the bridge had been, and where she can see Syzygy. (Half her movement.) She can see that Syzygy could probably climb out unassisted, but a rope would certainly speed matters up.
Quinn, Kimberly, and Bryony may act next, if they have an action they want to use.

Kimberley moved up ready to head in, " Should someone sneaky who can see in the dark lead the way?"
“I’ve got good armor protection, can see well in dark and I’m small enough. But, I’m not real stealthy. “

Jurgen stops suddenly. I just felt something or someone’s presence in my mind. Any of you felt that?

Quinn nudges past a few of the party to get to Jurgen as Bryony creeps forward. He kneels down and looks them in the eye.
In a hushed voice he says "This may be hard to describe, but what did you feel? Did you hear a voice?"
As Bryony sneaks off, Quinn draws his bow and nocks an arrow. He tracks ahead of her slightly, looking for any threats up ahead.
