Bryony quietly traverses the short lane and through a complete ruin of a building across the way. It is nearly completely flattened, ringed by low, crumbling walls, with little to show what it even might have once been. (Probably someone's home.) Continuing toward U13, she finds it much more intact – a small, dilapidated farmhouse. Debris is strewn about the meager yard. The doors and shutters are closed. Nothing stirs. (Bryony: Make another stealth check and a perception check to try to peek inside the crack in either of the two shuttered windows, or a strength check to try to open a door or window.)
Examining the necklace, Quinn reckons the emerald pendant to be worth a couple hundred gold pieces, probably.
Bryony peeks into the crack between the two shutters in the window near the door. Inside, she sees two humans wearing black cloaks cut to resemble dragon wings and black leather masks with stylized dragon horns. The interior looks dusty and strung with cobwebs. She ducks just in time – narrowly avoiding being seen.
Quinn doesn't wait for a reply and brushes past the crew and makes for the eastern door. He opens the door, draws his longbow and drops to a knee while he quickly scans the area for signs of Bryony or any threats. Knowing they have explored ruin by ruin in a counterclockwise pattern, he focuses his gaze on the structures to the east.

Quinn sees nothing unusual, There is no activity in the desolate streets. He doesn't see Bryony, even as he might infer which direction she might have gone.
“I have witnessed the halfling’s luck first hand,” syzygy rests his hand on the ranger’s shoulder, “she‘ll be fine Quinn.” Syzygy says trying to calm his own nerves more so than anyone else’s.

”Aros, Kimberley, Jurgen…Draco, I doubt our capacity to take down a dragon. I propose we follow Byrony’s suggestion. Now if, I mean if we have to l confront the beast, perhaps we try reason, or at least pander to its vanity. And with Jurgen’s assistance I think I have a plan on how to do that. But first… we wait for the our scout to return.”
”Agreed. A full on attack would be foolish. Besides, a dragon is a creature like any other and part of the natural order. It hasn’t done anything wrong at this point.”
Aros thinks upon Reidoth’s words. “Either way we go about it, we should get a good nights rest before confronting the beast. It will give us time to plan and I can prepare a bit to help if things take a bad turn.”
"Aye, I have faith in the little one."Quinn nods in agreement with Syzygy. He takes one or two steps to the east straining his eyes. He can't see a thing.
"...but luck eventually runs out" he mutters under his breath.
Quinn turns back to rejoin the others
" I agree with you all in regards to the dragon."He looks to Jurgen with a smirk. "Seeing how feisty our friend here is, imagine one 5 times his size!"

"While you all decide our next move, I'm gonna look over that way a bit. See if anything is in those ruins there." Quinn points to the ruins immediately to their west.
He walks slowly, crouched low, with his longbow at the ready. He looks north into the thickets beside Mirna's shop, making sure there aren't any twig folk lurking.
IF all appears normal, he'll proceed to the ruins adjacent to U13. Before entering, he'll look in checking for signs of spider webs or bodies wrapped in spider silk.

After Bryony catches a glimpse of the robed figures, she makes her way back to the building where the others were waiting. She creeps back inside.
"I found the robed figures!" she stage whispers. "They are in the building due straight east. I couldn't tell what they were up to without being seen though."
Led by Bryony and Quinn, the party does their best to quietly approach building U13, where Bryony had spotted the robed figures.
She leads them back to the shuttered window through which she saw the pair of strangely-garbed humans.
All remains quiet. The shutters remain open a crack.
Bryony remembers one additional detail, in that flash of a look she snuck before she had to duck: the shutters are barred from the inside, she reports.
