Chadwick performs his best World Cup flop into the corner of the room. The lead goblin still on a high for blocking the Fire Bolt looks to close in on Chadwick. He fails to account for the Eldritch Blast coming his way from Trolkarl. The bolt of force catches the goblin square in his stupidly grinning face. He crumples to the ground. The goblin's eyes behind him widen with surprise, or, maybe fear. Maybe both.
From behind that goblin you hear another goblin yell out, "CRADDOCK barK YiP wHine WhinE Bark, BARK!"
Erbert says quickly, “Should we press forward, or take them here as they come to us?” He darts a glance backward, “We don’t want to get cut off. Chase the one that ran off?” He moves forward, reading a bolt of fire to launch at any goblin that appears. (Readied action)
Fire bolt readied : 20 to hit, for 7 points of fire damage.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Ok, missing some critical information. Chadwick attempted to force open the gate, assume the outcome was unsuccessful based on silence?
if the door remains locked… Kragen turns to group and recommends we regroup in previous chamber to deliberate and plan forward. Giving up our advantage would not be advisable.
if Chadwick was able to force the door open and is actively chasing the goblin back up the passage, Kragen proceeds to follow quickly.
If Gnueman moves ahead. Trolkarlwill take rear security moving south to make sure Erbert isn’t isolated. Ready action to eldritch blast any hostiles approaching from the south
Kragen waits to see what Chadwick does in response to the goblin fleeing. Chadwick rises and moves to force the door open, only to find the lock is broken and the door opens freely. He then proceeds down the hall to find himself at a sand floored cave filled with goblins. ((Chadwick previous post was out of turn, that is why no response.))
The goblins all yell upon his arrival and move to attack. You recognize the one you have seen armed with a club. The rest have short swords.
Kragen follows behind Chadwick.
Trolkarl has Eldritch Blast readied as an action if a target appears.
Gneuman sees no targets so holds his position in the rear.
Muttering in mountain dwarf “dammit, we did exactly what we wanted them to do!”
in common “Chadwick, keep the entrance at our backs so we have support. Stay close to the entrance leaving us only enough room to fight. Once the others arrive, we can wade farther into the cavern.”
yelling in common “Hoid, Trolkarl, Gneuman, Erbert… need some support!”
Hoid will move in to the right to engage, if possible. If that is too far given conditions, Hoid will stop just past the human that doesn’t understand how to follow plans. “Dwarves would not be so … hasty.”
I rolled 19 to hit with battle axe, but my intention was great axe (been a while since I used the interface for rolling). I re rolled damage with the great axe. Hit was 24 (19+5), damage 10 (7+3). If I need to stick with the battle axe, so be it. That damage roll was 8 (5+3).
Hoid moves past Chadwick and Kragen to engage the goblins. He is only able to get to combat range this turn.
Goblin7 moves to get a clear shot throwing his dagger at Chadwick. Once he moves into view of the hallway, Erbert lets loose with his Fire Bolt, catching the goblin unaware. To Hit = 20. Damage = 7. The bolt hits the goblin mid-chest and he goes down in a smoking heap.
Goblins 6 and 5 both attack Hoid with their short swords. These apparently are elite goblin troops. Both hit and flash a vicious smile. Hoid notices that both of them have filed their teeth into points. To Hit = 21, 21. Damage = 4, 8.
Goblin2 moves up to attack Chadwick. Trolkarl spies him and fires a readied Eldritch Blast, hitting the goblin with a glancing blow. To Hit = 19. Damage = 1.
Goblin3 moves to form up in a line with two others on the right side of the room and readies an action.
If Chadwick goes prone,
Movement: Trolkarl will move north (difficult terrain through Erbert, even though he is pretty small)
Action: Eldritch Blast Goblin 1
Else
Movement: Move forward but not through Erbert
Action: Ready Eldritch Blast for anything hostile I see coming from the south
As needed
To hit :22 (not factoring cover or light)
Damage: 8
I'll pretend to be nearly overcome with injury and crawl over to the side for a little more cover.
Performance role: 16

Hoid is up....
I like the If/Then planning. Thanks.
Hoid is still waiting for an ambush target.
Goblin2 retreats back into the cave, heading to the left and out of sight.
Erbert...
Chadwick
If the gate is still closed on my turn I'll try and force it open.
Str check: 5 (think I broke a nail?)
If the door has been opened by someone else I'll pursue the goblin.
(( Okay. Erbert, Kragen and Gneuman to go first.....))
Erbert says quickly, “Should we press forward, or take them here as they come to us?” He darts a glance backward, “We don’t want to get cut off. Chase the one that ran off?” He moves forward, reading a bolt of fire to launch at any goblin that appears. (Readied action)

Erbert stands ready to unleash his magic on any goblin that comes into view.
Kragen is up...
If the gate is still closed on my turn, I stand next to Chadwick and defend him while he tries to force it open.
If the gate is open, I will pursue said Goblin.

second wind, when possible. Couldn’t find a roll tied to that action in the UI, so rolled d10. Result is 5 (4+1).
This takes effect on your turn.
