In view of the way things have developed, three groups don’t have an immediate benefit. Let’s have only two groups for now. On the way by the orc carcass, Hoid will pick up the battle axe and return Starker’s staff.
Chadwick eases the door open after hearing nothing. The arena is dark except for a few lamps burning around the seating area throwing shadows. He sees two orc guards holding axes. Guard8 says, “Grisnik! Quit fooling around. What are you doing?,”
One of Chadwick's bluffs has to work sometime right?
Chadwick starts stomping out of the room towards them appearing p1ssed off, glaive pointed down so he appears angry, but not stabby angry.
"Are you the dumbasses that sent that idiot down there to hassle us while we're trying to move the f@cking prisoner?! Didn't you get word that that Duren wanted her moved to the flayer's embassy? Get the back f@cking door open now or I'm gonna knock you the f@ck out like I did that clown Grisnik!"
If they don't start moving it seem to need more motivation...
"For f@cks sake, we're already running late since that dumbass (hikes thumb over shoulder towards room) almost let her escape. I know I don't want to have to answer to Duren or or that gods damn creepy ass mind flayer.
Persuasion 24 (if it should be deception or intimidation it would be 21).
The orc is taken aback by Chadwick's outburst. He looks to the other orc who provides no help. Both look back to you with stupid looks on their mook faces. Chadwick's second tirade lights a fire under them. They hustle to the back door and open it up for you as all of you hustle through and out into the alley. As they are closing the door behind you their conversation can be heard. "Who were they?," says Guard8. "No idea. I thought everyone was out from downstairs for the night," the other replies. "Go get Grishnak up here and let's find out what he is up to...," says Guard8 as the door closes.
Points of interest in your adventure are labeled on the map in white text. You may have to zoom in a bit to find them. Draw a line showing how you want to move from here.
Tonight was the annual release of my favorite brew pubs roasted garlic stout. Ran into many a friend and had many a pint. So I feel I'm the most equiped to handle this Village Inn picture maze...

Ok, in hindsight maybe I'm not the best choice. I was going to be a smart ass amd draw a straight line, but even that seems to be eluding me. I see Todd drawing lines, so I'll leave it up to him.
At first opportunity (even it's while sprinting) Chadwick will apologize profusely and repeatedly to Lady Arin for his besmirching comments and rough language. If she becomes fatigued from the double time march he'll offer to carry her, and again apologize for the indignity of it.
If given the option to widely overpay for a random horse (or even a donkey) he will, and encourage her to ride while they runs along side to the magistrates building.
Exit - Apparently Gneuman didn't mark the trail so I let the liquor do the thinking and did it myself. This assumes the tiny little white spaces were navigable. If not, it just going to look like drunken scribbles. So ignore the yellow in that case.
You are guessing that path will take about 30 minutes to move at “Dash” pace. Lady Arin has exhaustion and is definitely slowing the pace. No riding animals are available for borrowing on the street. There are few in town to begin with. Most animals being used as draft animals.
If paying an obscene amount for a draft animal would speed things along Chadwick will do it. Otherwise he'll assist as much as possible, unless she consents to a piggy back ride and the extra encumbrance would would still allow for a speed gain.
Kragen is assisting and can continue to assist the Lady as we head for safety. Chadwick can put his Willy away and help.
To the group “why not head to the Temple of Tyr as the lady suggested. It’s a direct route, we can rest and recover there and send a missive from the Temple to the magistrate. The temple is a sanctuary that will see to our needs.”
”if we are not comfortable with a missive, once rested, I can SEND a message to Lady Vintrix of my he recovery of Lady Stormrider.”
I have outlined an alternative route or someone do so that is not drunk and has access to better equipment, I am on the road.
Starker:”Excellent idea! While I am baffled at society’s choice to have temples as sanctuaries and not universities, libraries or laboratories, I see the wisdom in taking advantage of the illogic. Let us go to Tyr’s temple, and let us do so quickly.”
Both paths are common for a bit. You make haste to put distance between yourselves and the Fight Club. You can hear shouting voices in the distance when you come to the decision point of the two paths.
I think we want to remain on Hammer Street going towards the temple. But others should confirm.
Once the decision is confirmed, Trolkarl will attempt to offer a bit of confusion at the disjunction. summon fey
Hello, Tricksy friend. I am in need of your help yet again. There are some bad orcs and others right coming this way. I was hoping you could get their attention- as loudly as possible. Maybe hit them with darkness and take off down here street here...points to Eel street...scream, "Craddock help! They are right on my ass!" or whatever clever taunts you think will attract them to you. The main thing is to use all your resources to keep them off our trail.
To the rest of the group. Let's get moving out quickly now.
Feet are beaten in goal of reaching the Pantheist Temple of Tyr. Lady Arin does her best to keep up, but relies more and more on Chadwick and Kragen's assistance. Clambering up the steps of the temple they are mostly carrying her across their shoulders. An acolyte greets you at the door. Recognizing the regalia worn by Chadwick and Kragen, she ushers you into the main door of the temple to the receiving chamber. The doors are closed behind you. You can see four men in light armor and armed with bows and swords stop quickly after leaving the cover of the nearby buildings. They melt back into the alleyways when you enter the temple.
Lady Arin is unable to stand at this point. The acolyte has summoned others to attend you. She watches at the door through a secure peep hole. "Will there be trouble accompanying you tonight, brothers?," she asks simply. You see that she is wearing a chain shirt and has a short sword on her belt. Her right hand grips the hilt of her sword tightly.

In view of the way things have developed, three groups don’t have an immediate benefit. Let’s have only two groups for now. On the way by the orc carcass, Hoid will pick up the battle axe and return Starker’s staff.
You are now all grouped at the stairs up to the main level. Starker has his staff and Hoid a new, gently-used battle axe.
Starker send Cyrus up to the top of the stairs to scout, sharing senses, narrating what the spider monkey perceives.
The stairs arrive into a small room with a closed door,
Let’s proceed to said room as a group and send scouts out from there.

As you measure distance on the map, 75’ on the Owlbear map = 1,000 yards.

I approve any plan that involve the fey. I suggest mentioning Craddock as part of the deception.
Concur with heading to the temple, I missed her saying she would be willing to go there.
I don't think that long straight path is the best route. Let's take a path that breaks up the line of sight some (added suggestion in green).
Feet are beaten in goal of reaching the Pantheist Temple of Tyr. Lady Arin does her best to keep up, but relies more and more on Chadwick and Kragen's assistance.
