Hoid will leave through the open hatch, hoping three things. 1. Gravity applies on the outside of the ship. 2. Gneuman does not apply his Gnome-fu to everything walking on the outside of the ship, only bugs. 3. Starker and Trolkarl follow and are also not blasted into space via Gnome-fu.
Mallinora and Gneuman stand side by side on the rail of the forecastle. "I apologize for my outburst earlier," she says to Gneuman. "Ullric is a...friend. I could not lose him twice."
The three inside the neogi ship all exit through the hatch. The gravity plane of the Rogue's Respite is present and walking upon the hull of the burning ship is easily done. It is a short jump to the deck of the Rogue's Respite and then the lines holding the neogi ship are cut. Andon maneuvers your ship away from the burning hull of the neogi ship. Andon moves the ship far enough away from the burning ship that the air envelopes no longer merge. "The fire will consume our clean air if we stay too close," Mallinora explains. After about 2 hours it seems the fires have died on the neogi ship. Andon pulls up along side again the neogi ship is destroyed. "I had hoped the Helm may have survived," Mallinora sighs. "But, that is one less neogi ship in Wildspace. We have done a very good thing today."
Hoid says, “Captain, should we board the bug ship and look for salvage, or should we get back underway? You are more well versed in the way of these vile bugs than any of us.”
Kragen drops Bless (if it was still active) and begins to pray to Tyr. A light orange aura begins to emanate from him as he does extending 30’ around him. Once done with his prayer, he begins to administer healing to those in need.

those I know that need healing are Hoid, Hugard, Ullric, Bandfek. Anyone else?
Hoid says, “Captain, should we board the bug ship and look for salvage, or should we get back underway? You are more well versed in the way of these vile bugs than any of us.”
Mallinora looks over to the smoking ball of charcoal that remains of the neogi ship, "I do not think there is anything of value left. We need to get to Toril. This fight and fire have cost us fresh air." She heads below and soon the ship is under way. Shortly, she returns and says to you, "The trip to Cormyr will have us in Toril's atmosphere earlier than if we proceed to our initial first port. For that reason I want to go to Cormyr first. Is that okay with you?"
The smoldering remains of the neogi ship hull drift away as the Rogue's Respite resumes making way towards Toril. You do notice that there is a shift in direction you are traveling. Mallinora ran the navigation calculations and she is happier entering Toril's atmosphere sooner due to the fire situation initiated with Starker's exuberance. From this point onwards it is a calm journey. Starker makes notes and adds to the pieces of the map you have to make a unified map of the area. This can be found in Inventory as Map - Combined Map.
The newly freed thralls of the neogi are quite grateful for their rescue. They apologize profusely for any harm they may have inflicted, but honestly have no recollection of that period of time from their capture until the vise of the the neogi mind was released to free them. Bandfek is a Dragonborn warrior with black dragon lineage. He is boisterous and boastful and happy to engage in challenges of strength with any who show interest. Hugard is of yuan-ti lineage. He is quiet and tends to stay away from the attention of a group. Ullric is a genasi, like Hennilen whom you rescued from the blue dragon with Belgger. Their race are attuned to a particular elemental plane. Hennilen was air and Ullric you find is fire. He compliments Starker on his FIREBALL and the near purity of the flame he evoked. You also see that Mallinora and Ullric have a romantic attachment. They are rarely seen apart.
Mallinora has you all come below deck while the atmosphere is entered due to potential for wind buffeting. After the initial shock is weathered it becomes calm again. She allows people on deck at that point. It is a different view of the world as you come down from Wildspace. She has come in near night fall on the Sword Coast. Off in the distance you can see what looks like a castle sitting atop a large cloud over the Spine of the World mountains. The ship continues to fly over the mountain range and something catches Starker's eye. He suddenly becomes intent as he watches over the side of the ship. Running below he returns several scraps of paper. It is the map you have pieced together. He shows you all the pieces and then points down. Below you is a valley that appears to be very close to the depiction of the map. It is remote. From what Mallinora tells you, it is north and east of the town of Raven Rock. This is deep within the Spine of the World.
The ship continues to make way and finds itself over the western edge of the Sea of Fallen Stars. Landing is made as dawn starts to light the sky south of the city Urmlaspyr. The crew takes to the rigging and the Rogue's Respite is now a sailing ship. It is a clear day with a steady wind from the west. Mallinora is able to make good time and sails into sight of Urnlaspyr in late afternoon. A pilot comes aboard to sail into ship into harbor and a berth is found. Ravenshield manor is a two day ride north and east from here.
Trolkarl’s smile fades as he gazes upon his homeland. With a heavy heart, he lowers his head and commands Guhumbee to assemble the companions.
A far cry from his usualTrolkarl has gone from his usual easygoing self to a serious mood. His voice trembles as he begins to speak.
My family, the Ravenshields, rose to power generations ago, but whispers say our drow advisor, Alamnal, may have wrongfully implicated another noble to secure our rise. This shadow has only darkened over time. Recall Gaius Hearthstone and his claim to the manor.
My father, Garlin, sought to bring justice and kindness back to our lands but died mysteriously, leaving my brother, Grammal, to deepen the darkness with his rule.
Tired of speaking against them, I fled our lands and discovered Darkbane.
Alamnal Deepwalker, has framed me for the murder of my brother, who went missing after uncovering something in our family library—likely tied to a scandal that changed the course of House Ravenshield and Gaius’s family.
Today we return to Cormyr to confront my Alamnal along with my brothers and reclaim the Ravenshield name. IYour wisdom and courage inspire me, and I am honored to face this journey with you by my side. Know that ultimately, this fight is not for me or even Gaius - but really for the betterment of the oppressed people of our homelands who have suffered under this darkness for too long. Thank you for being with me today my friends
“Trolkarl, is utterance of your name likely to be bane or boon here? It is likely that the rest of us can cavort like blithering idiots as no one is likely to know us, but we should know whether you will fare differently.”
Starker:”Yes. Certainly. Also, we need to find and kill the person or people who paid the fell necromancer who almost killed me. I have several slices of dried mango I would like to feed them before they breathe their last, if that can be arranged.”
in an uncharacteristic manner, he reads the room’s reactions and quickly adds
”But Trokarl’s thing is very important, too, and we should definitely do that … yes … do that …”
Chadwick makes a mental note not to help himself to any of Starker's snacks.
"Righting wrongs and disposing of evil doers is certainly worthy goals, though I suspect it will require more subterfuge than a straight forward fight."

"Friend Trolkarl, you have shown yourself to be honorable and truthful. Whatever the crimes or conspiracies of your forefathers and family, they are no concern to me. They certainly do not reflect on you, but your family name." "If I can help you and your people, I will." "I will trust to you, how best to proceed."
Thank you all. Hoid to your question. I don’t really know. But based on the bounty and murder claims, I fear we may put any commoners friendly to our cause in danger. Gaius is our best ally here. I used the sending stone to let him know of our arrival. There is a part of me that wants to go directly to confront Alamnal with Starker’s mango treats. But that approach may very well play into the narrative that I am a murderer. Until we hear from Gaius, I suggest the rest of you do the speaking to any we encounter along the way.
Starker:”I could just murder him if you like. No one here knows you and I are colleagues. If you point me to his bedroom window I could kill him in roughly 18 seconds. No narrative downsides I can imagine.”
"Assuming Starker's plan didn't involve FIREBALL it could minimize property damage and risk to innocent lives. Alamnal has proven to be someone how is comfortable murdering innocents to get what he wants. However, that doesn't help in the long run of clearing Trolkarl's name. I think a public trial is the better path forward.
Trolkarl, do you trust the local magistrate, or could they be in on it too?
A spell I have zone of truth could help prove Trolkarl's innocence while rooting out additional conspirators during our investigation."

“Sounds prudent, Captain”
"Sounds good Captain."
Chadwick checks with Kragen and the wounded to see if any additional healing is needed.
“Everyone should be back to optimal health when I am done.”
