Zeds though weak is triumphant in the contest of strength and shoves bullywug 4 down the stairs causing a jumble of a delay of bullywugs trying to climb over each other.

Round 4: Ixsas
((OOC: Not sure how much he can accomplish in 1 round, so adjust as appropriate.))
Ixsas suspects that Pharblex is still in the stables, but they need to cross the wicked thorns to search the other stalls. And they need to move fast! Before long, the bullywugs are going to raise the alarm, and their job will get much harder. But Ixsas doesn't want to blindly cast Fireball: he's not even sure whether Pharblex is here, and that could burn down the whole stables! He'd rather not cast Dispel Magic just yet. They've barely started exploring the castle, and Ixsas doesn't want to use such a powerful spell unless there's no other option.
Instead, Ixsas tries to build a way for them to cross the area of Pharblex's spell without stepping on the thorns. He tips one (or two, if they're close enough) troughs on its side to spill out the water. While that drains, he checks that the bag of feed is tightly closed, lifts it, and tries to carry it over to the AoE. His goal would be to toss it 5-ft into the area of the spell, but if it's too heavy for him to toss, he'll just try to get it close to the edge of the AoE for Serge to toss next round.
While Ixsas works, he tries to keep one eye on the stalls at the other end of the room so that Pharblex can't slip away unseen. Perception: 25
Movement: Moving around to tip over the troughs and bring up one bag of feed. Action: Pick up a bag of feed and walk it over to the edge of the AoE. If possible, he'd try to fling it out into the AoE, hoping that it lands ~5-ft away. Free Action: Item interaction? Tip over the trough(s).
Ixsas tips over 1 out of the 2 water troughs as they are not close to each other and moves 1 out of the 2 bags of feed to the edge of the thorn area as the feed bag is rather heavy.
Ixsas' sharp eye sees no movement from the stalls 6-8.
Round 5
The bullywugs on the stairs spend this round untangling from each other.
Zeds is rushing to catch up with Serge and Ixsas this round, encouraging Krackle to do so as well. Well, dragging Krackle with him if need be - Krackle can't stay at the stairwell alone. ((I believe at best we would be getting to the ladder to the stables at the end of this round?))
((OOC: From the map, it looks like it's about 100-ft from the stairs to the trapdoor in room F. I guess it'll take 2 full rounds of dashing just to get down to Ixsas and Serge. Well, Serge could get there in the second round and still take an action if he runs ahead and Krackle. He should be able to cover 90-ft this round if he uses both his action and cunning action to Dash. That should put him close enough to make it down and over to the Spike Growth using just his movement next round.))
((Think I began last round after the shove, so this round would be movement and dash... So yeah, at best getting to the ladder but probably not there yet.))
How wide is the patch of thorns? Would Serge think he has a chance to jump it?
He is going for it. Serge takes the best running start he can get in this space and attempts to jump over the thorns and approach the mysterious stalls.

Ixsas can only make it to the middle of the area, so he was hoping to create a couple of landing spots to help him get across while he waited for Zeds and Krackle to join us.))
Anyone can roll athletics when attempting to chuck the feed bag or move a water trough.
Round 5: Ixsas
Ixsas had carried one of the bags of feed to the edge of the spiked area last round, so he tries to hurl it as far as he can into the spiked area of effect. He then moves back, away from the AoE to get ready to move the trough that he tipped over emptied last round.
Action: Throw the bag of feed into the spiked AoE, Athletics: 19. (If Ixsas can both cast Guidance on himself and throw the bag this round, then the final result would be 22. If not, he simply chucks the bag with the score above.) Movement: After throwing the bag of feed, he moves back over to the tipped-over trough.
When you make a Long Jump, you leap horizontally a number of feet up to your Strength score if you move at least 10 feet immediately before the jump.
With a 16 strength Serge makes it almost all the way across but lands right amongst the thorns and takes 7piercing damage. The area also counts a difficult terrain.
Zeds (and I believe Krackle) are still moving and dashing in an attempt to catch up with Serge and Ixsas. Zeds surely would glance back a couple of time and note he doesn't see the Bullywug giving chase but I doubt he would be totally confident that he was correct about that...

((OOC: Krackle will have to dash this whole round just to join up with the group, but Zeds should be able to take an action or a bonus action this round if you want. Assuming that he used his movement and his Bonus Action (Cunning Action) to dash last round, he should be able to get down to the edge of the thorny AoE this round using just his movement and dash (either as his Action or Bonus/Cunning Action). That way, he can still take Cunning Action or an Action, respectively, this turn after he gets downstairs and joins up with Ixsas.))
Serge grimaces and shakes his head as the stony thorns rip and tear through his boots.
Fed up with this chase, he moves toward the stalls, throwing open the door to stall 6.

Serge attempts to draw Pharblex out of the stall with lightning lure. He wiggles the fingers of his sword hand just so, and a lash of lightning flickers out from the end of his sword, trying to grasp the disgusting frogman and pull him out into the open.
Pharblex must succeed on a DC 14 Strength saving throw or be pulled up to 10 feet in a straight line toward Serge and then take 15 lightning damage. No movement and no damage on a successful save.
