Zeds ducks, dive and attempts to dodge... but the gods were not looking down upon him favorably. The rider swings down and catches Zeds between his shoulder blades, and Zeds falls to the ground face first. Unconscious.
Round 14 - Zeds makes a Death Save - 3(One failure, no successes.)
((Just to nitpick - Why rolling a third time in case of Warding Flare? Wouldn't it just negate the advantage which would just mean use the first of the two rolls made for advantage? I mean negating the advantage rolls altogether and rolling a third time... Well it is random so it kind of doesn't matter but it just seems like an unnecessary step which can lead to annoyance if the first roll wouldn't have hit but the third does? I dunno, just my opinion... and half the time the rolls are wonky anyway so *shrug*))

Krackle religion check 19
Seeing the cleric collapse nearby, The kobolds eyes go wide and he scampers slightly towards the critically wounded ally. Yellow light begins to radiate between the kobold scales and from his eyes as he places a small clawed hand on Ixsas and casts cure wounds.
Ixsas is used to the burning sensation that accompanies his own healing spells, but this heat feels different as though it were dragons fire washing over his body momentarily. After the instant passes, his wounds begin to sizzle and heal.
(OOC: Thanks! Quick clarification, when Ixsas fell unconscious, where did he end up. Is he still within 5' of HR#2? Is he in the wagon or on the ground somewhere?)
Ixsas feels a warm, unfamiliar glow. Not the heat of a burning fire, just a warm glow, like sun on a clear day. His consciousness comes out of the dark nothingness to pain and fire. The Hellriders!, he remembers, opening his eyes. Serge and Krackle are nearby, as are the stomping hooves of the horse. Ixsas is disoriented, and he knows that he won't last long going toe-to-toe with the undead knight. "Thank you," he says weakly, looking at Krackle. He taps Serge's arm and says, "We need to get into the wagon circle."
If the wagon is tall enough, he crawls under the wagon and to the other side, inside the circle of wagons, dragging his shield with him. (Since crawling is half-speed, I don't think that he has enough movement to stand up this round, so he'll still be prone.) Seeing Zeds lying on the ground, he casts Healing Word to revive him.

(Zeds is healed as well and can post his actions for this round. Krackle and Zeds knows about the traditions of the Moon Feast and how a prayer to Tempus signifies the start of the March of the Dead which is believed to bring those that fallen in battle home and to their final resting place)
Ironthar was pulled into he shadowfell, by the amount of dead spirit concentrated in this area, at the shadow realm, he heard whispers of about the feast of the moon about Tempus. Fighting back his way to the surface world, Ironthar fading back into existence and shouts.
Zeds slowly opens his eyes and moans. Not again, he thinks to himself with a groan. Being knocked senseless sucks. He is not a fan. Still, no time to contemplate that, the bastard who did it to him is still there and, surely, more than willing to do it again!
Scrambling to pick up his weapons, Zeds drags himself to his feet and attacks back...
Shortsword Attack: 22 to hit for 7 piercing damage BA Shortsword Attack: 22 to hit for 9 piercing damage
"March back to death, ya bastard!" Zeds growls as he attacks, there being a thought behind it somewhere... Some memory or something... But Zeds isn't a very religious man and just awoken from death so he wouldn't have put two and two together quite yet.
(Ha! Thanks! I am such a bad rogue... Normally playing a bard it seems so I keep forgetting sneak attack)
Zeds attacked with zest but found himself a bit woozy from the sudden expenditure of energy so quickly after rising - damn aftereffects of dying and rising back up! But it turns out for the best as he staggers a bit and in doing so luckily avoids the counterattack from the hell rider.
"Ha! Go home, you fiery dick! Tempus called and he wants all you dead bastards to march on home!" Zeds shouts out at the top of his lungs. He is pretty sure that's not how the prayer goes but never having been to a church in his life, that he wasn't looking to pilfer from, he really has no idea... But his punctuates his "prayer" with more swings of his swords.
Shortsword Attack: 14to hit... BA Shortsword Attack: 16 to hit...
That's what I get for invoking the gods, Zeds thinks to himself in grim acceptance of the futility of his strikes... Feckless bastards.
Serge at last finds the source of the ice-spells, as a kobold crawls up to Ixsas and does with magic what he had been unable to do with medicine, drawing the priest back into the fight. "Damn fine work,"he shouts, his voice cracking slightly.
Frustrated at his unshakeable fear and starting to grow reckless, he stands and points two fingers of his sword hand at the 2nd Hellrider. "Rursus vero,"he intones as three reddish-pink motes of force emerge from between his fingertips and jump to the Hellrider, slamming into it one after another.
Still panicking and unable to look at the 1st Hellrider, he bellows at the 2nd, "Leave them alone and come bother ME!"
[Action:
Cast magic Missile at the 2nd Hellrider for 4, 3and 4force damage.
Reaction:
If hit with an attack. Serge would spend his reaction to cast shield
If he hasn't already used his reaction, and a Hellrider leaves his reach, he would use his reaction to make an AOO with his longsword.]
WIS: 5
Despite finally wounding one of these undead riders, Serge's racing and terrified heart is unable to find calm.

Taking his eye off the horsemen in order to heal his companion costs him dearly as the fiery blade slices deep into the kobolds shoulder. The hissing sound of searing flesh fills his ears as the blade is quickly pulled from the cauterized wound. Through gritted teeth, he once again focuses on the enemy and clutches his orb tightly.

"Yeah! Get out of here! Tempus calls!" Krackle shouts as he winces in pain.
Ixsas enjoys a few seconds of respite out of the way of the Hellriders. Unfortunately, this fight is turning desperate. He dreams of dying in service to Kossuth one day, but he doesn't believe that being chopped to death in the middle of a random battlefield by the restless undead honors the god in any way. He hears one of the undead knights strike the wagon behind which he's hiding. As the flames rise up, he hears Krackle's pained words...

Battlefields. The emblem on the knights' shields of the burning sword on a field of red. As Ixsas's head clears, the kobold's words remind him of his religious studies. Tempus, the Lord of Battles. A militant religious order. Something about a March. Honoring the fallen at the Feast of the Moon. Is it the right time of year? Even if it isn't, it's worth a try!
Ixsas stands up cautiously and looks across the wagon toward the two Hellriders north of the camp. He calls out in a ringing, proselytizing tone: "Yes, Krackle! The Feast of the Moon is upon us! It is time for all followers of Tempus to begin the March of the Dead. To remember those who have fallen in battle and recite each of their names. To honor them and commend them to Tempus for their feats on the battlefield!"
