"I don't mean to turn the prisoner over, but I mean to get them out of prison. If there is a reason to take them out of prison and to leave with us, the better we are."
"Bavlorna works on her own terms. She might not take action immediately. And she also might start of by hurting those around him to damage him emotionally. Which could include any of us so it is in our best interests to remove him from the throne by force. I hear that the plan is due to take place imminently. We are meeting to discuss the final options. Come with us and I am sure he will reward you for your efforts. Otherwise, it might be me and you being served on a plate as if you are not for him, I am a traitor to discuss it with you. And you know too much."
"So," the Eladrin chimes in, "What assurance do we have that the baron would not turn on us the moment we helped overtake the old king? It seems he has few qualms about punishing those he cannot use, if your own fate is anything to go by should we refuse."
"He has no reason to turn on you unless you are a threat to him. If you don't help him out, then you are a risk as you could report him to the king. But once the revolution is over, you are not a threat. It would be self preservation that leads to him wanting you dead now."
Fa'ame considers the proposal and lifts an eyebrow... "More to the point... What boon could we expect from your lord should he ascend to the throne? A promise of safety is one thing, but not necessarily worth our while. What's in it for us?"
She looks to Moneo. "These conspirators are welcome to try and snuff us out if they want, but it's hardly worth the cost in time and effort if their plans are imminent..." She looks at the little bullywugs and smirks, the spore-filled fungus on her skin trembling slightly. "Besides... I think they'd have a harder time of it than they may expect."

"Why not eh?"Moneo says with a shrug pulling his vest on and dropping the muddy robes to the deck as they sail. "Let's hear your boss out at least. If they, too, are opposed to the hag, then we may have found a friend."
You follow them to a house. Upon arrival, they knock and slip a piece of paper under the door. The door is opened and standing just inside the door is a jittery bullywug with a spear, and behind this guard is a wooden crate with hunting gear piled atop it. Huddled in the back of the hut are 2 more bullywugs. Tension hangs heavy in the air as one of the huddled bullywugs signals you to enter and join their conversation. One of them (clearly the leader of this group) proudly shows off a drawing on the mud floor that depicts a crude image of Gullop XIX with a dagger in his eye. "My plot is simple. I intend to approach Gullop XIX while he sits on his throne, pretend to trip into him, and “accidentally” stick him in the eye with a dagger. What do you all think?" he turns to Moneo in particular"Your majesty, did you come to the throne in a similar manner? It is the best plan is it not?"
"Nothing says rebellion like an accidental killing of the king. I thought you want to replace him? Clumsy isn't a very high selling point to get others to follow you." Barreknar trys to still stand, regally, as he speaks. He does feel these Bullywugs need to build bigger houses, too cramped for him.
”Ah… uh… no,”Moneo replies, “I actually was crowned after helping and generally bringing good vibes to the people… Your plan, well.. I really cannot say. I prefer non-violence when possible, but clearly you all work differently here. I must ask though, why is it that you hope to dispose of the current king?”
"I am glad that you agree with me plan. The king needs to be disposed of as he is a threat to us all with displeasing Bavlorna. It is why we have crates of dead animals here for her. She likes taxidermy so this will be a nice peace offering once I am king. And I am not actually being clumsy. I am crafty, there is a difference. This will work I am sure of it. No time like the present."
They all head out and start going towards the boats (up to you if you follow or not. They don't seem to care either way)
The moment they're out of earshot, Fa'ame turns to the others."Sounds like a perfect distraction for whatever we have planned with Bavlorna. We should find a way to her as quickly as possible."

"Agreed. Barr, can you use your muscles to row us over?"Moneo says to the crew pointing to a small boat off to the side, and then louder to the frogs, "We will try to get on good terms with Bavlorna as well. Perhaps you will need an emissary soon."
"Uhhh... we still plan to free the prisoner after all of this that helped or little friend escape right?" Barreknar starts taking off his cape and folding it as nicely as he can to store in his bag before boarding the boat, he is willing to man the oars as well. Looking forward he will row the boat the wrong direction for a bit before realizing how to do it whike looking forward. "This is harder then it looks."
Even as the boat glides across the water's glassy surface, Eliaanore wonders with a small shiver what might be hidden just below. This place has so far been a world beyond commonality; anything could be just under the surface...
You make your way across the lake, reaching a cottage in the lake on tall thick wooden stilts. Four flights of wooden steps rise out of the swamp, ending at a trapdoor in the underside of the cottage.
Assuming you will open the trapdoor:
A recessed pool lined with mouldy clay tiles takes up most of this large square room. Stagnant water fills the depression to a depth of one foot. Rising from the pool’s centre is the head of a stone well that gives off an unpleasant, pungent odour. In one corner of the pool stands a tall, dirty, freestanding mirror in an oval frame, and floating on the water is a large lily pad.
Creaky wooden floorboards are arranged in a ten-foot-wide raised walkway around the pool. This walkway is crowded with shelves, tables, and stools in all shapes and styles. Almost every available surface is littered with stacks of dirty plates, scraps of food, and old junk. Dressing dummies are pushed together in one corner, and a wooden staircase spirals up from another corner. Five closed doors lead from the room.
Pulling his bandana up just around his face, Moneo scents it to smell like lavender to cover the smell of the room, and walking in, looking back to make sure the others are following, speaks loudly, calling out to anyone near, "Hello?! We come with a gift. And a message from the Soggy Court."He then walks slowly around the room, towards the mirror, listening for the sounds of any inhabitants.
"I don't mean to turn the prisoner over, but I mean to get them out of prison. If there is a reason to take them out of prison and to leave with us, the better we are."

Fa'ame studies the "plan" for a long beat of silence waiting for Moneo to respond. When he doesn't she finally says, "Flawless. No notes."

Eliaanore is... for lack of a better word, flabbergasted that these creatures had concocted such a perfect plan.
"Genius...!" She exclaims.
It was so stupid, she was sure the king would never suspect it. Oft times, simpler plans have the higher probability to succeed.
