Barakas

During breakfast, as he hears the talk between Tarak and Trilaxa, and as calls for the group, he goes, with a smile on his face "Hey guys, I'm sorry about yesterday. I won't pull my daggers unless it truly is needed." Then he turns to Tarak and asks "Are they living there as outcasts, or are they originally from there?"

Krack

Krack straps on the bandolier over his armor, which is over his robe. He smiles at Myla “I will do my best to take out as many undead as possible with these bottles!”

“I think the contraption flew well, but making another larger one for me to fly would be fabulous! Do you need to measure me?”

Later at breakfast, Krack eats well, extremely happy with his time in the temple so far and excited to go see the mushroom people and a giant octopus. "I am ready to depart when all are" he says, sticking a few hard boiled eggs in his pocket for later.

Shayla

"Don't worry about it Barakas, some things need to be dead." She nods at Krack, "And some things need to be more dead."

Tarak

The Myconid colony has been there as long as I've been here, most likely longer. Reitl might know more he's part of the furniture here. Runara would also be able to tell you more. So have you decided by water the more dangerous option, or by land, the scenic route?

I can give you the names of the main colonists, it might help. Not far from where you land you'll find two sprouts looking after the fungi by spreading compost, that's Molen and Kraz, two adult Myconids are normally tending the upper pool, they are Hipsiz and Rugoso. Beware any violet fungus they can seriously damage you, you can kill them without repercussions.

Here we have torches enough for all and a tinderbox, the kobolds use them on the beach. 

Myla

Yes Krack I'd have to measure you and balance the wings with a backpack. Do you want beating wings or to glide through the air? Maybe we should ask Runara, she might know of a dragon willing to give you a lift.

Theodor

"I have 9 torches. I can share if anyone needs any, however I believe our sneaky friends won't need torches if I'm lead to believe?"

Theodor gathers his things, goes to the statue of Bahamut and promises to act with justice and mercy, and prays for strength and wisdom.

He finds the pilgrims, "I'm ready to go."

veneer

wanders in to the parties conversation and stays back listening to the plan. then follows them quietly to where they plan to embark.
he decides to stay back and watch. only helping if necessary.

DM

You each take a waxed bag full of compostable goods and swing them over your shoulders. You have decided to take the the pathway leading down the spine of the island then turning towards a coastal path. The 7 mile walking trip takes you 2hr and 20 minutes, and you arrive in time to see the noon turning of the tide. You take a short break on the cliff path to eat and drink, as you watch the sea withdraw from the pathway into the caverns.

Shayla

"The view never disappoints." as she nibbles on a biscuit.

Krack

As he walks the path, he wonders what it would be like to just run off the path and take flight. Ah that would be grand.

He's humming a song about a gold dragon he heard when he was a pup.

Barakas

As everyone stops, he looks at every pilgrim and starts flipping is coin. He looks at Veneer (who I believe is alone) and tries to join him. He brings some biscuits and bread while he is drinking some water. He sits silently for a moment next to him and says "This view looks amazing." He adjusts his new cloak now turning to Veneer and saying in Cants "You should take a look and enjoy it too" meaning "Why do you hide?"

DM

An opening gapes in the cliff face two hundred feet below you, like a mouth drinking in the crashing waves. A natural staircase offers a way down the cliffs to the cave path now clear of sea water. Tarak had warned you that the path is only clear for low tide. You now have 9 hours to find out what's wrong before the tide turns.

You descend the staircase and walk single file towards the path into the entrance tunnel. You can see a churning in the water just past the entrance, a quick flash of red and white.

Decide amongst yourselves the order of walking, who is going first.

I think Theodore should go in front, he has the highest AC.

Shayla will follow right on his heels casting Guidance on him to help with whatever checks might come up.

Theodor

"I will gladly go first, I appreciate your guidance Shayla." He offers his closed hand for a fist bump.

He turns to Trilaxa, "Trilaxa, I will listen for your command."

Theodor slowly makes his way down the steps, looking around for the octopus.

Perception: 6 (2 + 4 from Guidance)

DM

Multi coloured fungus covers the walls of this tunnel, its bioluminescence glow filling the cavern with dim light. The surface of the water swirls with colourful, faintly glowing spores - perhaps reacting to the movement of something under the surface.

Theodor walks carefully along the path, Shayla at his heels. He kept to the right as close to the walls as possible. In the dim light he can see some stairs starting at the high tide mark. It might be best to attack the octopus from there.

The octopus is not aware of you yet.

Barakas

He would probably be after Trilaxa (unless Krack or Veneer want to step forward). He looks for any holes or side tunnels where he could sneak inside, in case needed.

There are no side tunnels the cavern is as detailed in Taraks map

Krack

He will follow behind Barakas, bow in hand, excited to see an octopus for the first time.

On the walk here, Krack would have given everyone one berry, "Magic Berries, for emergencies! Of if your really hungry!"

veneer

follows behind the little band quietly. keeping a little distance between him and the others.

Stopping on the stairs, Trilaxa says out loud, "I'm gonna try to fry that things brain. Theodor just charge in there and as soo as you swing, I'll cast my magic."

Theodor

Theodor raises his warhammer and bangs it against his shield, creating a cacophonous metal-on-metal sound trying to draw the octopus out.
