When Krack appears and approaches the breakfast table, he is not alone. A small drake, the color of Onyx is at his side. “Good morning, everyone, this is Beans!” he says, gesturing to the small drake, and he feeds him a Goodberry.
Krack then takes a seat and immediately begins to eat.
Barakas manages to strike the right chord with the kobolds.
Food now! they cry and he remembers dinners at the Temple. He moved over to a tidal pool and prods around the seaweed. He finds 3 good sized crabs. He cracked them open and watched the kobolds rip them further apart and slurp at the meat. Starving in the midst of plenty Barakas thought.
He sits by the shore next to them devouring it "Damnn, you could at least share a bit." As the moonlight reflects on the water he continues "Why do you hate everyone at the temple? What happened? I thought flying creatures were amazing, why ?". Barakas tries to understand what makes the hate grow deep in the community, as he tries to emphatise with them
The kobolds hiss at his question. They not soldiers like us, and their God intervenes when we attack. Big Dragon, full grown protects them. Not hate just wary. We prefer freedom.

You look around the breakfast table and notice that Barakas is missing. Tarak puts the note in thieves cant on the table. He says that he's going to look at the Observatory, just to eyeball it so he can see what's happening there. I don't know where Veneer is. Has anyone seen him today?
He sighs and looks up at the sky "I guess so. Well, I'm going to the Observatory. Will you acompany me there? If don't no worries. I'll just walk alone."He then steps up and starts walking while gesturing with his tail. "I'm down to hearing about you and your stories. I can try to give you food if we end up finding some. Just share, will ya."
He rolled out his map and crudely drew the route to the Observatory on it along with a comment saying here be kobolds. Down by the bridge shown on the map, he looked at the sea, rough waves hit the offshore buildings. Nearby was a pedestal with an indentation on the top, but worse was there was no crossing. The bridge had gone.
Clambering over the rocky ground of Stormwreck isle, you spot strange, twisted protrusions of glassy crystal jutting from the earth. The vegetation in this area bears reddish branching scars that form similar shapes. Suddenly you hear a screeching roar and notice a winged, glittering, blue shape swooping overhead. The blue shape is a dragon by the name of Sparkrender.
As the flying creature appears he hood swoops of his head leaving his horns pointing out. He tries to move his arm and tail a little, to get Sparkrender attention. He also uses Thaumaturgy to increase his voice a bit "Yo blue thing, would you mind coming here? I need to go there, and the mail hasn't brought my Wings yet so could you help?" and he points to the observatory
To Trilaxa, choose two of the rituals to learn spells from.
To Barakas
He was lucky that the blue dragon hadn't seen him. But he soon found out that two winged kobolds had heard him. They are thankfully washed, and wearing odd pieces of armour each holding a javelin. Go back they cry. Leave now!
"Damnn are you always this welcoming? I'm just here to find two kobolds, nothing else, no worries. I don't intend to bother. I could even be of use." He says that while playfully walks around the place
"Where is the observatory, shall we go look for him? I'm sure Beans would love to head out for a walk. Right Beans?" he says looking at the little drake then adds "I haven't seen Veneer" before putting some eggs into his mouth.
"We were told that a dragon lives there. Hopefully he just went looking to see what was there. I'm not inclined to face a dragon just yet," she chuckles without humor.
"I say we wait for him to return or maybe do some investigating of our own. The odiferous ship calls."

"Aw look at the guy, he's so cute!" Shayla will cautiously try to pet him, using bribery if needed (food).
Then she says a quiet prayer before taking in breakfast herself.

Stay here. No route to the Observatory, and there are more kobold there. Enemies.
They fly back into the brush waiting for their next victim.

Trilaxa
DM: Could Trilaxa have found any scribeable rituals in the library while she was in there? She'd be interested in any of the following:
Coriana - Company of the Grey Chain
Wagner - Dragon Heist: Bards.
DM - The Old Keep
