Everyone caught in the area must make a DC 12 Strength saving throw. On a failed save, they are restrained and knocked prone.
On a subsequent turn, one can use its action to make a DC 10 Strength check to free itself.
The net has AC 10 and 20 hit points. Dealing 5 slashing damage to the net.
Richie: Damn! Well, at least the net isn't going to hurt anyone...probably had to use non-lethal methods, due to people constantly forgetting this trap. Angel, there was an argument about this room? Does anyone think would the Earl include the name(s) of the fiend(s) he worships as a password...leaving out a tribute to them as a lord in a trap would be beneath their notice? Did we guess the wrong fiend he worships? Or is it the Earl himself that's the password? Which would be easiest for his minions to remember?"
(I'm assuming, since you didn't specify who was caught, that the net falls on the platform where 6 and Angel are. You also didn't specify what triggered the trap. The choice of tile or Angels failed save.)
Strength: 5
The net tangles in 6's joints and they collapse on the tile.
(Sorry, I thought I was clear. Stepping on the wrong tile triggers the trap. Angel's failed save is for seeing how well she can jump over the tiles, since some jumping will be involved. My assumption is that Angel was going to follow 6, so since 6 went for T, which is R8, failing the jump, forces her to instead land on the S, which is R9).
A panel opens, and a poison needle shoots out at Angel. Roll a Dex check, to see if you can dodge it (DC 10). Failing will result in 3 damage, and you'll be poisoned, 3 poison per round.

"Angel! Are you ok! Were you able to dodge that? If so, do you think you can free 6, and get yourselves back here?"
"Maybe you're right, Klaes. I've been thinking...from the conversation Angel remembered, they mentioned jumping tiles. Maybe we're supposed to hop more than just one set of tiles...as 6 pointed out, we should look at these long sets of tiles as a grid...we figure that if the top left is 'A1,' which is A, going all the way through, with the last tile being W9, or B, we can get a start. Look at B9...C9...C7...C5...C3...B1...L (OOC, when having issues with the graph online, there was only supposed to be 1 L, so I missed this)...E...I...R...A...Z. I'll try that. If something hits me, do give a cleric some assistance, ok?"
Richie takes a deep breath (prior rolls here), and steps onto the first tile. Nothing happens. "Hey, guys, I think I found it. Looks like weeee...?" while talking, Richie didn't notice the tile cracking, and drops him. It is only with some lucky acrobatics that he's able to even grab onto the surround rocky ground, that he doesn't fall all the way through.
"Nevermind...Klaes? And please, no clapping to offer me a hand. So, we eliminated two options, maybe?"
Angel takes the advice from Richie and looks towards 6, "Hang in there my metal friend, I've got yeah" and jumps to where 6 is and attempts to free him.
Having been sprung, with only one use, Angel is able to safely get to where 6 is at, but remains cautious and on her guard. With their combined efforts, and a bit of time, they untangle 6, and make their way back to terra firma.
Richie: "Good y'all...safe. If someone can help me...I really don't want to...hang around here all day..."
(OOC: Angel, look at post #208. Richie's partly fallen through the hole in the ground, due to it being a false tile, and is holding onto some rough tiling, so some assistance would be nice. Both 6 and Angel have gotten back to safety).
6 walks from one side of the 115 foot wide room to the other examining the tiles. Getting across the 45 foot long obstacle was proving more difficult that they had previously expected. Small puffs of steam jet out from small ports around the mechanics collar as 6 calculates their next move. They sift through memories to see if there are more clues to be found. (Arcana:6)
6 investigates as much of the tiles as they can, trying to see if there is evidence of previous passage.
Upon the investigation, 6 notices what seems to be some tracks on a few of the tiles: I8, a D tile, J7, a N tile, J5, a A tile, and K5, H tile. As 6 processes the information, which name to use dawns.
Klaes has lost track of what 6 was doing. (Too many letters to keep follow) "You are doing great my mechanical friend!! Keep it up. I will stay here to watch our back. Don't you worry."
(Man, are we level 3 yet??? Klaes could have been a little bit of more help.)

"Look! I think 6 has figured it out! 6 jumped on a D, N, A, H! It must be Emberhand! Have you figured out where the rest of the tiles are?"
6 steps forward confidently and leaps for the "T" in Baphomet.

I see signs we should use the Earls name. Remain here and I will test my theory.
