Rosa will take the money while saying, "Okay that's gross." After he gets the money out of the pouch, he'll drop it back into the (empty?) box, and go to the room next to that one and try to open up that chest. "Well there's money here, but someone else can help with this right? Pick a room, hit a lock, and this'll go much faster."
Attack 8 Damage 12
Still a little creeped out by the human skin pouch, Rosa misses the lock.
Muirdan shatters the lock with an easy blow, and reveals a soft piece of black cloth wrapped around three small moss agates. To your dwarven eyes, they are probably only worth about ten gold a piece.
(sorry, didn't MEAN to completely ignore that the rest of you were hitting things!)
Rosa, seeing Muirdan in the next room, you head to one of the other unoccupied rooms. In there, you find a black leather eyepatch with a carnelian sewn into it.
Grythek, you pop your lock open to find an ivory hairbrush with silver bristles.
(We'll assume that you proceed to the last sleeping quarters and do the same there.)
In the final chest, you find a well-made shortsword with a clearly silvered blade.
General loot details:
11 gp and 60 sp in a pouch made of human skin. Three moss agates (worth 10 gp each) in a folded piece of fine black cloth. Black leather eyepatch with a carnelian (worth 50 gp) sewn into it. Ivory hairbrush with silver bristles (worth 25 gp). Silvered shortsword (worth 110 gp).
Looking at all the objects, Rosa says, "We can try to sell most of it later, but silvered weapons are useful for certain creatures, are they not?" He looks at the group, double checking his facts.
(Anybody carrying all of this, or just who finds it?)
“I agree with Rosa “ says the ranger “ While the other things we could sell them, we should keep the sword and use it. Anyone apart of me use shortswords? If thats the case better keep it, I am practicing to be able to use two longswords so in time I will not have use for it.. .”
"So everyone just carry the stuff you find, and we'll sell it all later." Rosa puts the eyepatch in his bag. "Now let's continue onwards towards the monsters shall we?" He heads towards the hallway.
Rosa, you continue through the room with the well to the passage leading south. A set of stairs rises up a half level and leaves you in front of another half level set of stairs leading further south and a passage that turns to head to the west. The sounds of chanting are clearly coming from the western passage, where your light source leaves flickering shadows as stairs lead down into a deeper darkness about thirty feet in front of you.

Rosa silently turns to the group, and motions towards the west, putting up a hand to his ear for sound. Then he heads towards the chanting stealthily, while ending the light spell on his hair.

Milamber follows the group, drawn by the sound of the chanting. He listened carefully to see if he could make out what the chanting may be in regard to and if he could recognize the ritual it is associated with.

Muirdan heads to the northwest chamber and bashes a lock if there is one.

Muirdan carefully picks up the stones wrapped in cloth and brings them back to the others.
”Three stones, wrapped like they were worth more than they are, which isn’t much. What have you found?”
(sorry, didn't MEAN to completely ignore that the rest of you were hitting things!)

( Can Grythek check if the shortsword is functional or just for display? )
PbP Character: A few ;)
Anyone that checks the sword can tell it is perfectly functional. The edge is wickedly sharp and the balance is good.
“I agree with Rosa “ says the ranger “ While the other things we could sell them, we should keep the sword and use it. Anyone apart of me use shortswords? If thats the case better keep it, I am practicing to be able to use two longswords so in time I will not have use for it.. .”
