Considering what Cleo revealed, Khessa concludes: "The bodies abandoned here must be the corpses of sacrificial victims, once they were no longer of any use".
"As for the new stairs..." the blonde arcane warrior muses aloud "Either this underground complex is truly enormous, or they will lead to a new exit to Baldur's Gate".
"At this point, I believe you were right, my dear and bright Elias..." the tall adventuress affectionately and admiringly turns her blue eyes to the young wizard "There is indeed a possibility that there are more Cultists, up the stairs. We should check".
However, as a preliminary check, Khessa instructs her Army of Darkness to reach the first of the bodies and try to pull it out of the water, so that it can be seen whether it is in fact the corpse of a common citizen. She doesn't believe it's undead - but just to be safe she has the Army of Darkness approach in the same formation as before - a line that prevents any enemies from reaching the party - and stands ready to react herself in case the extracted body turns out to be less dead than it should be.
The Army of Darkness was ordered to block the enemies and defend, so the animated bones move obediently, assuming defensive positions and preparing to parry any attacks with weapons and shields.
[[ OOC: The 3 skeletons hold their line and take the Dodge action, focusing solely on defense - attacks against them will have Disadvantage. Khessa's hope is that this way the party can range the enemies from safety. The skeletons, with their good AC (one has 16, the other 2 have 18) and defensive stance (enemy attack them with Disadvantage), should be able to avoid being hit most of the time. ]]
Elias, spell book in one hand magical quill in the other, will cast mind sliver at Z2 INT save 13 or take 1 pts of damage and -2 on any saving throw before the end of my next turn. Don't have but a couple of spell slots left, will be relying on cantrips unless things get hairy.

ROUND ONE
ELIAS cast a disorienting spike of psychic energies at the second ZOMBIE. The nearly mindless corpse is even more disoriented than before.
ROSEBUD now with the high ground commonly known as REYA, manages to pop the third ZOMBIE with one of her little magic stones. She has the stones.
MISTYNIP readies her mace and shield and falls in line behind ARMY ONE.
KHESSASH orders her ARMY OF DARKNESS to hold the line.
Three of the ZOMBIESattack. (Skeleton 1 AC 16, the others AC 18) A fourth one dashes to take the gap toward the room to the east. At least what can be described as a dash for a nearly mindless corpse.
(Everybody is up through Round One and around again through the AoD’s (Army of Darkness) turn in Round Two.)
REYA fires a bolt at the third ZOMBIE as well. It hits the wooden support beam. Dust falls from the ceiling. ROSEBUD can hear the paladin mouth something quietly about needing to spend more time at the archery range.

As the Army of Darkness reaches the first of the corpses, the corpses suddenly rise out of the from under the water and attack the SKELETONS.
ROLL FOR INITIATIVE
ZOMBIE CRAPPY INITIATIVE ROLL 11
REYA'S SLIGHTLY LESS CRAPPY INITIATIVE ROLL 9
(DM Note: With a -2 on the Initiative Roll, the Zombies will still get to go before Reya. Larger scale map updated.)
Well, Rosaline's roll was even crappier than the zombies and Reya...
Rosaline Initiative: 5
Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
Provide feedback!
[[ OOC: Does Army of Darkness act at the same Initiative count as 'Khessash'? Or should I roll for them too? ]]
Khessa's Initiative: 3
(The Army of Darkness should have their own Initiative Roll. Which based on Khessa's roll may be a good thing. )
[[ OOC: Lol! Indeed... Rolling for them then. ]]
Khessash's Army of Darkness: 11
Elias initiative roll 16
(Elias and the Army of Darkness will go ahead of the Zombies in Round One. Go ahead with their actions.)
Round 1

Rosebud (on Reya’s shoulders) initiative 15 (if different from Reya)
(Rosebud can take Round One actions before the Zombies from Reya’s shoulders. She will simply move with Reya.)
Mistynip initiative roll 16
She will ready her mace and shield, moving behind skeleton 1, saving her action in case he falls.

“Woohoo, I have the high ground!” Rosebud grabs some of her pebbles and throws one at a zombie.
