Ok, after a few attempts, Etriel Darastrix realizes that the troll, as much as it was clinging onto life, trying to knit the wounds together, was not able because of the fire from Idalie and it is well and truly dead... plus, burning it would require a lot of effort with the size and the coldness...
So, the foreign traveler gives up; no need to really burn it to ashes. She approaches Danon again, checking his wounds (and perhaps allowing her fingers to run over his skin even a little longer than mere medical examination would require?). Hers are now fully healed, but what about the eroic elf monk?
"You shielded me with your body at the best possible moment" the eladrin huntress' gaze expresses an even deeper gratitude than the one already resonating in her words. "I couldn't have hoped for a better traveling companion."
Neldak dusts himself off and looks around the ship, before cautiously approaching the hole in the deck for a look. He'll wait for the others to be ready to continue exploring as Etriel heals herself and Danon.
Danon does a thing, when he sense that the Ice Troll is going to bite him, he uses his skills as a monk to twist his body at just the right time and he manages to deflect 15 points of the piercing damage from the bite. He takes the cold damage unfortunately, and also the effect of the cold damage of being near the ice troll. But then... Lady Etriel heals him, her healing touch flows through him and he feels strong as ever, looking down at the body of the ice troll.
"Thank you m'lady, your hands are so skilled, for healing, and for harm. Your ministrations are.. most appreciated. You are very skilled, clearly. I'm glad that I could help. Oooh, that spot right there, you have it!" A flush comes over Danon's face. Head down, without looking her in the eyes, he says "You know, I would fight and die for you, Etriel. Nothing can hold me back. My place is at your side." Then he looks up, a genuine smile pours over his face and he feels that he could tackle the world, subjugate Auril the Frostmaiden herself and bring a warm summer sun to Iceland Dale, it is an intoxicating feeling to be sure. Her gentle words of encouragement and affection will feed Danon for many days and nights.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
As Danon looks up, he is greeted by a new light in the green eyes of Etriel Darastrix, who is also blushing a little and smiling as if the sun of a new spring has already begun to kiss Icewind Dale again. It's like finding oneself in front of a magic mirror, a mirror that doesn't reflect the same images, but rather the same feelings: "So fight and live for me, Danon; for I wish that from this day forward nothing may take you far from the place you have chosen - a choice that honors mee deeply and fills me with joy, oh sweet guest of my soul."
The foreign traveler, already so close to him, was about to move closer, as if they were alone on the frozen ship, cruising for a union, but somehow the memory of having just risked her life at the hands of a ferocious monster dawns on her. A monster who might very well not be alone. And this reminds her, too, that she and Danon are far from alone... With a sigh, she concludes that activities requiring more privacy will have to wait — and after seeking his lips for a kiss, she admits: "However, to stay alive, we must learn not to let our guard down until we're safe. Let's make sure there are no further dangers lurking on this ship."
The eladrin huntress thus nocks a new arrow and cautiously approaches the hole down which Neldak is already watching. Does she notice anything in particular?
To make it easier, and becuase I don't have any options really from mobile for fog of war, here is the full map. I trust you guys to not metagame. For ease of locations it's the dm one. You are in D1.
D8 is blocked/covered by a thick layer of ice. D3 and D2 are just upstairs and easily reached, the hole and stairs both lead to D9. If you are examining the marks around the giant hole, make a survival check. That yellow pile on D9 you can tell is what seems to be a large pile of treasure covered in ice.
"Can't see much from up here. Are you guys ready to take those stairs down?" Neldak will cautiously approach the stairs that the ice troll came out of, but allow whoever wants to go first to lead.
"I don't like leaving these doors unopened behind us", she points at the door to the north [D4 - D7], "but going below makes sense since it's where the troll was."
"In fact, I am in favor of the strategy proposed by our wise Lady Cirim" Etriel Darastrix muses aloud. "Perhaps it's best to explore methodically, from top to bottom, so as to never advance before securing the path behind us."
"I must point out, however," the eladrin huntress continues "that in the fight with that icy horror—and in healing those who needed it afterward—I exhausted almost all my magical resources. Considering that the troll is dead—and will not return—we could rest for a long time, until we're fully regenerated, and resume exploration when we're all at our full potential. You know, just in case another equally tough fight awaits us."
[[ OOC: I'm proposing a Long Rest. ]]
"Or would you all prefer to start right away?" The foreign traveler is also open to this option, should her trusted traveling companions so desire.
"Oh, I didn't see those doors over there. I'd prefer to start looking. I didn't expend much energy during that battle, but if you really need to rest before moving on maybe someone else can take point?" Neldak looks eager to start exploring.
[[ OOC: Etriel Darastrix has already used several spell slots to heal herself and Danon, so she only has 5 damage left to heal. She can wait before receiving further healing. However, now that she has much less magic available, she'll probably get hit more often, so I imagine she'll need the healing soon. ]]
"Okay," Etriel Darastrix smiles at the enthusiasm of her fellow travelers, "then we'll satisfy our curiosity right away. I understand the impatience of the young races..." she takes on a thoughtful expression, as if now speaking more to herself than to the party. "Such a short time... It's right to make the most of it."
The foreign traveler then leads the group to explore the highest parts of the ship first, following the logic she had proposed earlier: exploring top to bottom, so as to always have a potential escape route guaranteed. Is it perhaps a kind of... melancholy that sparkles in her green eyes now? The melancholy of eyes that know they will see centuries pass—centuries in which most of the party members will dry up and fall like autumn leaves? But it's only a moment, then she hides her feeling, whatever it is, behind a quiet resolve. Right now, they can travel together. And explore together. And so it will be.
[[ OOC: I'd say explore D2 first and D3 immediately after? ]]

After joining more my signature got out of hand so I am now a proud member of the extended signature club!! :)

"Does anyone need healing? I have magic available."
[Cirim is at full power currently. Also seems like a good time for me to cast Aid on a few people, especially if your injured.]
