Razz flits back to the table, landing lightly on the edge of his seat before stretching his arms behind his head. With a content sigh, he leans back, propping his feet up on the nearest empty chair. He goes ahead and orders the same as what the rest of the group is having. Then turns to the group and asks,
"So! What’s the plan? Are we charging into another life-threatening disaster, or are we doing that thing where we pretend we have a plan and then immediately throw it out the window the second something interesting happens?"
He thinks to himself, Or was that just me? He shakes his head and then glances around, wings flicking with amusement.
"Because personally, I’m good with either—just let me know if I should start making poor decisions now or wait a little."
“Well tomorrow we will hopefully have a huge cash windfall. I’m hoping we can use that to get some magic items to help us. My crossbow is already magical due to my infusions, but some of you could probably use an upgrade.”
"Yes, tomorrow this 'Vasili von Holtz', maybe the same one from the letter to Fiona's relative, is supposed to meet us. Apparently he has the funds to buy the rest of Garrick's books. I guess we should ask around about him and Stella's father tonight. Then, after we get the money and gear up, maybe we go check out the mage tower further?"
Razz leans forward slightly, wings flicking as he gestures lazily toward Hooty.
"Oh yeah, I got a peek at that through Hooty. Big ol’ fancy symbol on the door—looked important, definitely magical, and just vague enough to be either a grand discovery or an elaborate death trap. So, you know… standard Barovian architecture."
Razz proceeds to pull out a small piece of paper in front of him and draws the symbol on it.
Razz casually flips the paper around, revealing the symbol he saw on the mage tower’s door. He taps it with a finger, wings flicking as he adds,
"Oh, and while we’re on the topic of potentially terrible ideas, there was also a wagon parked near the tower. Seemed normal enough… until I noticed the big, ominous warning saying it would explode if messed with."
He shrugs, smirking.
"Which, in my experience, usually means one of two things—it’s either actually rigged to blow, or someone really doesn’t want nosy people poking around. Either way, I thought I’d share before anyone gets any bright ideas about wagon-looting."
"Well, well, well—looks like someone else has impeccable puzzle-solving instincts. Great minds think alike... or at least, equally ridiculous ones do."
Razz adds a lil chuckle at the end and leans back waiting to see what everyone else thinks.
Ada groans. "Oh gods, we have to dance to open the door?"
She glances around at the others. "Maybe only one person has to do it," she wonders aloud. "Also, should we talk to Father Lucian again? We can ask him about this Vasili person and about Stella's father."
(Btw, what happened to Stella? Did she stay in her house?)
"Yes, I'm planning to ask him if he has the materials for a revival, assuming he thinks Stella's father is...acceptable. We should also drop off that skeleton Fiona had in the chest."

With a smirk and a twinkle in his eye, Razz suddenly pushes off from his seat, hovering midair as he strikes the first pose from the symbol he saw on the door. With a dramatic flourish, he moves into the next stance, shifting fluidly between the shapes as if performing some ancient, mystical dance—though the only thing mystical about it is the sheer amount of fey flair he’s putting into it.
"If this is the key to opening that tower, I want to make sure I have it down before we get there."
He spins midair, exaggerating one of the more ridiculous movements with a grin.
Then, with a flick of his fingers, he conjures the faint sound of a rhythmic beat to accompany his impromptu performance. He shoots a glance at Kess, his smirk widening.
"This could really use a little more flair. What do you say, Kess? Feel like turning this into an actual performance?"
Nothing seems off. The inn is running as normal as a Barovian establishment can.

Kess orders the same as Ada is having, keeping her gaze on the hunters as she tries to tell if there is more to their story that they aren't sharing.

There's nothing too important that they haven't told you. Hunting wolves in Barovia, however, doesn't seem like the easiest or safest job.

Garrick orders his food and drink and then just sits to relax and mentally preparing for the next day.
Kess nods and returns to the table, kicking back with the others.

As Razz studies the symbol and its stick-figure-like markings, a thought crosses his mind.
"So… are we supposed to strike these poses in that order to open the tower? Because if so, I’m calling dibs on the most ridiculous one."
Kessintra raises an eyebrow as she studies the picture. "Is it...a dance?" She mimics the stick figures' arm positions.

Kess gives a smirk and sits back as well, getting distracted trying to imagine what kind of song would go along with such a dance.
