The bard lounges in a nearby chair, one leg draped over the arm with the lazy elegance of a cat well-fed on opportunity. He watches Delilah shed her guise with a grin, clearly pleased at how their infiltration has played out so far. As she lays out the plan, he nods slowly, fingers idly tapping a rhythm against his knee.
“Disgracing our dear new employer in front of Waterdeep’s finest?”he echoes with a glint in his golden eyes. He straightens slightly, voice warming with theatrical flair. “Public humiliation, well-timed distraction, poetic irony…these are all tools of the bardic trade. Unfortunately, Nessus is a bit isolated from the other areas. I will have to make the most of my breaks. Ah, and I can disguise myself as any of you if you need me to cover for you while you 'work'."
"You are quite right Exa, but the location of the statuette might also mean an even greater humiliation for our dear Mr. Toggelpocket when it disappears in front of the eyes of him and his prominent guests. If we can somehow discreetly remove him from play and trick information and the rod from him, then one of us could possibly take his appearance and make off with the statuette while disgracing Mr. Togglepocket so much so that he might prefer to leave this business behind." The young dark-haired lady says, her eyes gleaming with fey mischievousness.
The Inn is full of Teiflings ready for dinner and a tankard of ale, and it becomes difficult to talk there.
The Innkeeper Yosef, came to their table and served dinner, Beef stew with fresh mushrooms, freshly baked rye bread and thick slices of creamy cheese, and apples. Here you go get stuck in there's plenty more if you're hungry. Do you want a pitcher of wine or tankards of ale?
No we have no set entertainment, the Teiflings sometimes bring their instruments to play sets for dancing. You are welcome to play and I'll not charge you for wine or ale, keep the small coins that they drop.
Yosef carries a large goblet with brandy on the bottom filled to the brim with thick cream.
He smiles at Exa. The Afterlife Casino staff are a welcome addition to the income of my Inn. I'm debating a new bedroom wing for all the people that ask. They bring a lot of trade to the village.

The young dark-haired lady too orders the wine and leans back in her chair, pondering all their options while discreetly scanning the room for any tieflings she would recognize as holding a security position or any other position of importance at the Afterlife casino.
Exa takes a large lick of the cream, it is so thick that it stands up in the goblet past the glass edges. She looks around and notices Smithy sitting down to dinner with two other Zhents.
Upon seeing Smithy, who she assumes is the casino's chief of security, Exa subtly lifts her head and her eyebrows in his direction to let the others know, though she doesn't say anything aloud.
"Perrrfect," she says instead, the word rolling off her tongue in a purr as she enjoys the brandied cream.
"Well spotted..."The young dark-haired lady says quietly to Exa as she too notices Smithy. "...I could take on another appearance that he hopefully will find appealing and get to know him a bit better and see what information he can provide us with, unless you have better ideas?" She says, looking around at her accomplices.
"Now, whatever would you mean by that Exa?"The young dark-haired lady says quietly but gives her associates an appreciative smile for their kind support, gracefully standing up to follow Kyreth upstairs.
It is not long before another tiefling girl walks down the stairs. You haven't seen her before but by they way her golden eyes discreetly glances over at the table, you know well who it is. "I'll expect your best performance dearest and perhaps I will have something to share later." The tiefling girl says quietly to Mavilius as she passes him on the way over to Smithy, briefly glancing back before confidently walking up to the table with Smithy and his dining friends.
Selene
"Might I join you fine gentlemen?" The cute tiefling girl says with a plesasant smile as she takes a seat by their table. "I am told there is this Casino nearby and I would just love to hear more about it from someone who knows that place well." She continues, her golden eyes seeking out those of Smithy.

Exa
"One Zhentarim badge," Exa says with a pleased grin as she retrieves it from her tunic and slides it across the table to Kyreth.
"We saw the door to the vault. It's in the security room where all the mirrors are."
She taps a thoughtful finger against her chin as she tries to remember if it was locked.
OOC: Smithy pointed out the door as being off limits. Did we noticed whether/how it was locked?

The door was a standard pass key, employees only.
Exa
"Hmm," Exa says as she trawls back through her memory.
"Pass card. One of the employee ones. They said it was off limits to us, even as employees, but I don't know if our passes might still work."

Exa
"Got any cream?" the tabaxi asks eagerly. "With brandy in it?"
She looks around the growing crowd in the tavern, searching to see if any of the tieflings are familiar from the casino.
DM
Yosef
Certainly, do you prefer normal cream or jersey cream we have both. I'll use the best brandy that we have.
Mavilius
"Wine for me. Do you have any after dinner entertainment prepared? If not, I would be happy to perform."
DM
Yosef

Exa
"Normal, please. I'm watching my waist," she says with a toothy grin to Yosef.
"Most of your patrons come from the casino, then?"

"Excellent idea, Delilah. I'll provide the atmosphere. Good music and dancing tends to loosen people's lips. Among other things."
Kyreth
"I'll take myself off to my bed. I don't want him to notice we're together, or even that I'm here."
