"Seems like the way of things," Skritch loudthinks. He does wonder for a moment why the bard would scout ahead instead of the rogue. But then he decides that he admires the bard for getting on with doing what needs doing. Skritch will patter along, on Sunhill, with the remainder of the group, following Rachus.
He will keep in ongoing contact with Rachus via Message so Rachus can report back what he's seeing without having to speak out loud. "So... how's it goin'?" (etc.)
Dealuri is happy to keep going. The bad water was weird and the manticore thing looked pretty dangerous. She decided this was a good group to be strolling through a dungeon with. She had forgotten that they were on a mission until Rachus reminded them. So she picked up her eyes and started looking around for someone.
If Vakas and Rachus are jostling for scouting position, then, from back with the rest of the group, Skritch will keep in touch via Message with the both of them, alternating. Again, so that they can report back without needing to say anything aloud.
"Sooo... how ya doin, Vakas'?"
"Sooo... all quiet on the northern front, Rachus?"
"Sooo... what's, er, what's going on at the mo, Vakas?"
Vakas you move ahead into the side tunnel and soon come to a heavy wooden door blocking the way. A cursory check will show it to be unlocked and the guttural sound of snoring can be heard on the other side, loud enough to make your teeth rattle.
Vakas gently pulls the door open, holding his hand up, indicating for everyone else to wait a moment. This doesn’t sound like a sleeping kobold… what’s back here? He opens the door, peering inside.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Vakas, you gently push the door, and (with an 11) it groans like a dying man. The snoring from within ceases. A thick silence falls, broken by a wet, ear-splitting snort and a gravelly cough. Then the snoring returns, a deafening rumble.
The opening is wide enough. You press your eye to the gap. In a heap of foul straw and gnawed bones lies an ogre, a mountain of bruised flesh, fast asleep. Drool runs from his gaping mouth as he cuddles a huge, spiked club like a babe. Across the room, another door stands facing northward.
Skritch telepaths to group, "What do we think? Can we sneak sll around him and hit him as one while he sleeps? And, if we can, will that be enuf to end him?"
Thanadol sits there a look of thought on his face, doesn't look that mean really. But all the same let's try to pass him quietly, we should have a plan in case things go rogue.
Rachus dreading the owner of the abhorrent snoring will whisper to the others "It would take only one misstep or accidental noise to wake that ogre up. Instead of all of us of going perhaps Vakas, if you're willing, could scout out what is beyond the far door. If it's a dead end, then we don't all need to go"
Skritch listens as the rest of the group decide what to do. While he listens, he dismounts and then settles Sunhill further back down the corridor, to prevent Sunhill inadvertently disturbing the snoring behemoth.
If the vote falls in favour of Vakas sneaking through and seeing where the exit leads, then so be it, Skritch will keep in touch via Message.
If it comes to sleep-mugging the ogre, then he'll wait with Thanadol and the ranged fighter and cast Fire bolt alongside Thandol and the archer as soon as Vakas has made his sneak attack. Skritch at first thought about sneaking up and joining Vakas in the sleep-strike (Shillelagh attach with Booming Blade could be v good, afterall), but the way his rolls have been going, he'd probably nat-one his Stealth, trip on his own tail and squeal in alarm, waking the beastman...
Vakas nods, and then starts to tip toe into the room, walking across to the other side. He examines the door, looking for any traps or signs of a lock, and if unlocked as the other one, he gently opens it, looking through, peering nervously over his shoulder back at the Ogre.

I say we explore it!
"The man we seek could be anywhere so yes let's explore this side passage." says Rachus and he will do so unless someone has other plans.

Vakas nods along with the idea and leaves the weird water, taking up his place up front, scouting ahead in the dark, as silently as he can.

Like that.

Presuming that Vakas is reporting back, Skritch quickly telepaths to all of the b-team what Vakas has heard.
Then he waits, Shillelagh ready, with everyone else, for the rogue to do his scouting thing.

Thanadol stands there a look of worry for his friend creased across his face. He holds a fire bolt ready for danger.

"Umm, don't we just shoot things? I don't do quiet all that well." Dealuri is more concerned with their safety than that of the sleeping ogre.
OOC: That is two for sneaking and one for shooting, Rachus and Vakas what say you?

Skritch crosses his paws.
Thanadol looks to the others. Well... How will we proceed.
