Only-the-Cold makes her way up to the two northernmost doors and presses her ear up against them. She hears no movement from the other side of either door, so she goes to make her way over to the southern 2 doors.
Thrash walks over to inspect this black suit of armor and as he approaches it steps toward him swinging its plate metal arms at him. Thrash gets hit by the first swing for 6 bludgeoning dmg, not expecting any trouble from the statue. But seeing it come to life he's able to duck under the second swing.

After checking out the doors on the second floor Alustine hears a scuffle on the next floor. He moves quickly up the stairs to see his group engaged in combat with a suit of armor. Knowing his martial proficiencies are likely not as good as his companions, the bard speaks a quote from an inspirational poem to Thrash, comparing the lizardman to a hero of old! (OOC: Thrash gains the benefits of Bardic Inspiration. He gains an inspiration die. For 10 minutes, Thrash can add it to one ability check, attack roll, or saving throw. This can be added after seeing the roll, but before knowing the outcome.)
Or...he rushes up the stairs to see his group standing over a suit of armor which lays haphazardly on the ground. "Honestly, can you make ANY more noise? Did you not see the suit of armor standing there and knock it over by accident, or are you trying to attract every potential trouble in the house?"

Thash will take moment to wipe blood that is streaming from the corner of his mouth with the back of his hand. His eyes shifting from the armor to the red liquid smeared against his obsidian scales. When his eyes move back up to the armor, they are no longer the white and dark green but instead are completely black. Thrash will then let out a loud angry roar and attempt to crush the armors helmet in his jaws.
OOC Trash is going to use a bonus action to rage and then use his action to make a bite attack (piercing damage) against the armor

While raging, you gain the following benefits if you aren’t wearing heavy armor:

Rajiira would pocket the tiny chunk of marble, taking what she could get. Re-entering stealth (13) she climbed the stairs, she would see Thrash suddenly get attacked by a .. moving..suit..of armor? She acted quickly, flying down the hall in a sudden rush with her Feline Agility and just before she got next to the armor, she would spin her attack, the other way, so as not to slash THROUGH Thrash, and slice at the suit of armors knees. (Attack:24 Damage:5)

Tisnip stays around the middle of the group, keeping quiet as she tries to filter out the strange blanket of awful all around her. It's never happened this way before and she doesn't know what to make of it. She tries to see if it grows stronger as they climb the stairs in any given direction. When they reach the hallway and the suit of armor attacks Thrash she immediately rushes forward, shield in front of her and warhammer raised, and she moves into a spot on the other side of Rajiira and swings at it as hard as she can.

Rajiira hears a commotion upstairs, pockets her chunk of red marble and slinks her way upstairs. She springs across the room and slashes at the Armor with her scimitar but it glances of the black plate armor.
Tisnip rushes forward, shield in front of her and warhammer raised, she swings at the armor trying to knock its arm away from Thrash, but just barely misses and hits only air instead.
Only-The-Cold hears a commotion behind her, passes her hand over her quarterstaff forming a layer of ice over it, she spins around and swings her shillelagh at the source of the sound, missing the armor and almost hitting Thrash in the head.
Thrash ducks under OTC's staff as it swings over his head. He wipes the blood from the corner of his mouth, and tries to bite at the moving armor. But his teeth don't seem to make an impact on the ebony plates.
Tyriok positions himself in the room to get a clear line of sight on the armor and launches a Fire Bolt at the construct. The bolt just barely misses and hits the wall behind the creature.
Alustine hears a commotion happening up the stairs and rushes up to see his comrades engaged in combat. He sees Thrash has already taken a hit from the armor and shouts "Come on Thrash, in this life, to earn your place you must fight for it!" Giving Thrash inspiration.
The animated suit of armor swings it heavy arms at the new threats around it, one arm bounces off Tisnips shield and the other hits Rajiira for 9 dmg. **Sorry, it Crit, and i rolled it wrong, the 9 is right**

Seeing the armor change targets and strike Rajiira will make Thrash angrier than when he himself was attacked. Thrash will then launch a heavy overhand strike on the armor with his flail and then try to take another bite out of the armor.
OOC: He is going to use his attack to strike with his flail and then use a bonus action to attack using the Hungry Jaws feature (if it hits he gets 3 temp hitpoints)

then, she would Ready her bow after stowing her sword and board, (reducing her AC back to 15), and when those in melee would split open enough to leave a clear shot, she would fire at the armor.
OOC **How big is the room / hallway we are in? I was trying to act as a barrier between the armor and the rest of the party but if that is a problem, can I circle around the armor as part of the turn I posted above? would it draw an attack of opportunity if I stayed within 5ft while moving behind?**
"Oh is that how it is?" Tisnip growls at the statue, moving to the side as instructed by Rajiira but staying in melee to keep its attention. For a bunch of metal it's a tough thing to hit so she tries something else. With determination she plants her feet down and casts Sacred Flame at the armor. (DEX 14 save)

When Rajiira gets mauled by the moving armor, Alustine calls out to her, "Rash language cuts and maims, but there ishealing in the words of the wise." A warmth spreads through her, and her wounds start to close as if a couple of days had passed!
(OOC: As a Bonus action, Alustine casts healing word, restoring 5 hp)
The tiefling draws his rapier and joins the melee, striking at the animated armor in the hopes of maybe damaging a joint, or at least scratching its surface...

**The whole room is about 10x15 feet, one whole wall is open to the sort of large spiral red staircase you came up. The armor was on the other side.
