Recwyin gets the hang of it after some trial and error. Lucky is not comfortable and falls down into the sticky webbing and has to be retrieved by Spider-Garruk. Lucky decides to just sort of ride Garruk instead of sliding around.

So you're all greased up and sliding along like its friggin Jet Set Radio up in here. Except for Lucky who is riding Garruk, who has to skitter like a madman to keep up with all these Web Sliders. 

You continue on in the direction that Leggy points you in, with the two Goblins navigating you along the safer parts of the webbing, until... 

Spiderbait points out something weird up and to the left of the direction you are travelling. "Hey! What's that!?"

Garruk - the thing he spots is not moving so you can't sense it

There's sort of a large clump of webbing that doesn't look the same as the rest. Recwyin can spot several shapes entangled in the webs, some look fully wrapped up like a cocoon, and some look like they might be wooden trunks stuck in the webbing.

guys, I see stuff and maybe bodies. No offense to Lord Leggy, but this looks like danger from a big spider. Perhaps a trap? I want to check it out,  we may find something that helps us escape from the underdark, but we need to be cautious.

Garruk tries to remember hearing about natural occurrences such as this.

You all pause for a moment to take a look at it from a distance, it resembles the way that spiders wrap their prey in silk threading to consume later. The goblins verify that they have seen similar things in their travels, altjalth not usually accompanied by large trunks, they both vote to check it out, although they agree you should do it cautiously. 

”If you will allow me... I think that I may be the best to check this out. Being of their type and all. My lord, if you would join our other companions, so as to mitigate the danger to yourself?” Garruk waits for him to move, reaches out with web sense to make sure that there are no dangers in the vicinity, and then begins crawling towards the spider’s nest.

Recwyin shoulders Leggy temporarily and draws his bow in anticipation 

The group gets into a defensive position and Garruk makes his way about 100 feet towards the odd scene.  He can't sense any movement in the near vicinity.  When he gets up close he sees 2 large wooden trunks entangled in the webbing, as well as two forms, one big and one small that have been completely enveloped. 

Is it safe for us to approach?  Do you want to check the boxes or bodies before we do?

“I’m not sensing anything. If you think it wise to come, then I see no harm.” Garruk moves over towards the two lumps, checking their forms

Recwyin and Leggy slowly approach the boxes while Garruk checks the bodies. 

Garruck pulls a bit of the webbing aside to reveal some decayed remains inside the cocoons, possible a human or elf in one, and you think a halfling in the other.

“We should move quickly. These are bodies. Whatever killed them will be back.”
