"I should hope so! In fact, if you need something to do, BUT want to be in the area in the event a spark bravery brings you back this way, ANnnd want a job with some potential dangers but not really-..." Vondal takes a breathe. "Head to Phandalin. It's aaaa few days south of here. Decent sized, uh, Frontier town, I guess?" He shakes briefly his head and hands. "Anyways. You seek out a man by the name of Sildar. Say that Vondal Stormfist sent you. Perhaps he can set you up as town guards, if'n your interested. Or even some other, less risky jobs. Who knows. BUT, it would a fresh start, and fit criteria for potential side excursions." He expalined, smiling as things seem to turn around.
"Worst case scenario, it is at least good jumping off point head to Neverwinter, so there's that at least, eh?"He pats one of them on the arm and grins. "More to chew on -- And hey! You still dragon bribe to help with that fresh start too. Food for that, okay? We got of hair now."

About 60 feet away, the individual hesitates and looks in Adrom's direction as the dwarf calls out. Then, hunching a little lower, they continue on, perhaps a little faster through the trees.
Daran, watching this, says sarcastically, "That isn't suspicious at all."
"What?" Vondal asked, having heard the yell and turned around seeming genuinely confused. Though seeing him not initially, the dwarf bids the cultist one last wave of goodbye on his way out. "What's going on?"He asked of Daran, catching him first, before likely(?) having his vision redirected elsewhere. Whereupon if able to spot the retreating form, or at least some shifted thicket perhaps to give away the trail initially, he'll just scratch his head for a moment.
"... Wait... Hn... Best to play it safe."He'd mumble while hustling after full tilt.

As the crossbow bolt flies towards the running cultists Karl bellows in a stentorian voice "OI YOU LOT I'D BE GETTIN' BACK 'ERE LICKITY SPLIT IF'N I WAS YOU!"
As Adrom raises his crossbow, Daran says, "Well, that —" but then the bolt is shot, and despite the individual running behind the trees of the forest (half cover), the bolt lands in their side. The holler out and fall to the ground. A wail echos around the area, and the talking cultist rushes out and looks around the side of the building. "You shot him?!" He looks at Adrom. "What kind of crazy insane people are you?!"
Vondal almost trips over the individual, who is now writhing around in the underbrush whimpering and hollering out in pain.
DM: Was the cultist running in the direction that we believe the dragon is?
Nif turns to Adrom, "I think we may have made a rash decision." he then turns to the cultist and tries with a different tone, "My companion made a rash decision but my brother is proficient with medicine and can check his wounds. Can you tell me why he is running? If we can end this discussion civilly, it will be best for all." As nif says the last bit, he has one hand on his dagger and the other has a gold piece dancing across his knuckles whilst he grins at the leader. "its your decision."

"I resent that, as I have been rather reasonable all things considered!" Vondal calls back to the larger group of cultist. Whether they believed him or not, he brushes off their presences to examine the downed man and his injured knee leg. "ey! EY!"Vondal kneels to snap at the man's face and get his attention. "I can't help you if you keep hollering and moving now." He warns as his gaze drifts back to the injury, and he studies it a moment. "Now, I think I can get the bolt out and patch you up... provided you be willing to explain why you went running off? In catch you hadn't caught it before, it wasn't as if we wanted to rob you or anything."
Apart from cuffing the man lightly for being stubborn, Vondal would get to treating him using the kit at his hip. Even if it meant being a bit more rough from his refusing.

Nif, the forest runs north to south along the eastern edge of Thundertree. The man was running north. The place where you expect the dragon to be is on the northern side of town in the middle, so northwest of where you are currently.
"Sure! I can heal the lad if you want. But running away when we just had told them that we are going to kill their beloved dragon... would you risk him going to warn the worm? " he looks to the others " yeah that's what I thought. And you.. " he turns towards the wounded cultist " Stop crying like a baby and learn your lesson. One doesn't sneak away and run from talkig dwarves. We are honest, but distrutful on dragon cultist that ran away you know?"

Vondal's too busy trying to mend the injury to notice anything beyond Adrom's approaching. And even then, he waves cleric a step back, claiming to have the injuries well and truly mended enough.
Again, it's hard to tell what the cultist is thinking because most of his face is covered, but he looks at Karl for a few seconds after his comment, then looks at Nif. "I asked him to run an errand," he says a bit spitefully. "And I told him to hurry." After Adrom's comment, the cultist scoffs. "Warm him? We haven't even talked to him."
The man holds up a hand toward Vondal in a warding off gesture, but then relents, allowing the dwarf to see to the bolt. He looks toward the main cultist and then back at Vondal. "I ... was ... um ..." He looks at the main cultist again and yells something in the language none of you understand. The main cultist yells something back as he begins walking in that direction. His tone of voice is reminiscent of a parent being overly patient while convincing their child to do something. The hurt cultist looks up at Vondal. "I was running an errand."
The main cultist enters the trees, walking toward the hurt cultist and Vondal. "I will take him back inside and see to the wound. You all have done enough. Please just leave us alone."
Vondal slightly narrows his eyes at the hurt cultist. But then a moment passes with his sighing and standing up again, before turning upon the lead cultist with a stern expression. "Things were tense, I know, but no mere errand should require sneaking around like a thief in night."He states flatly. "And what's one underlings possible death in the face of your own reward for having warned him." He adds, swinging his axe up again so that half rested once more on a shoulder.
"Or mayhaps you think yourself clever for trying to guilt trip us with this ruse. You certainly had not helped your case by coercing this one to speak as he has, and in strange tongue -- and don't... Don't try to use Uncle's side comments in father tongue as excuse for same here. For it is not same."Vondal stared on flatly at the main cultist, daring him for a moment to try and make up some other excuse. ".... And so long as they are under your thumb... Tch! You should've waited until we left."His only warning before brandishing the axe, readying to leap up and behead the leader.
