"Whoa," one of the Redbrands facing Zander says as the sorcerer goes through his mini transformation. He takes a half step backward. The two facing Vondal look over their shoulders and drop their swords just a little at the sight. "Holy—" one of them mutters. The other looking at Zander screws up his face at his fellows' responses. "This guy's too drunk to be any trouble," he argues. He raises his sword to point it at Zander's face. "Quit yer tricks and hand over your valuables!" All four are now looking at Zander, two standing behind the front two and looking over their shoulders.
Karl notices the red of the four Redbrands' cloaks as he and Nif walk south. He can see there are a few of them together, but he doesn't yet recognize that Vondal and Zander are involved.
The flames grow larger and somehow darker, and Zander slowly advances, looking as scary as a stumbling drunk noble who's just layed in a puddle of beer can.
"Nah, how 'bout you eshplode inshtead?"

Despite his inebriation, Zander's burning hands spell cuts through three of the four Redbrands (the non-intimidated one — blue — and two of the intimidated ones — yellow and green). Two are caught completely unawares, taking some pretty heated damage, while the biggest of the group (yellow) is able to duck to the side and out of the way of the brunt of the attack. The flames dissipate before reaching Vondal.
Round 1: Vondal, Karl, Zander (drunk), Nif (disadvantage), black, blue (very injured), green (injured), yellow (injured)
Unfortunately, Nif, it's a clear, sunny day. All of your attacks will be at disadvantage.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
While narrowly avoiding stepping into "Green's" reach, Vondal gets right up to "Blue the Burned" side before going for the nuts! Even if he can only get close, he hoped the pain of the blow would be enough to knock out, if not destroy the man's will to fight. If that's not enough, he makes a sweeping backhand to knock him on his butt, before following up on "Yellow" the tall with a knee. "Aw'ight, you gits! Make yourself scarce, fore anotha of ya have taste of a Stormfist's Greatest Hits!"
Movement: to 17-I. (ending movement dependant on blue falls.)
Action: Unarmed Strike(Non-lethal) Attack: 10 Damage: 3. (On Blue)
Bonus Action: Spending Last Ki-Point for Flurry of Blows(2 Extra Unarmed Strikes/Non-lethal): Attack: 8 Damage: 4. (On Blue if still conscious, otherwise on yellow.) Attack: 12 Damage: 5.(On Blue if still conscious, otherwise on yellow. If yellow is unconscious however, then on green after standing over blue's space)
OOC: Yes, five feet squares. Unless otherwise stated, my maps will always be five foot squares.
While the Redbrands are still reacting to the blast of magical fire from Zander, Vondal moves around behind them and to their west (I17). Blue opens his mouth to painfully yell at his comrades when the monk says, "Aw'ight, you gits! Make yourself scarce, for anotha of ya taste of Stormfist's Greatest Hits!" Blue turns toward him just in time to receive a finishing blow to his family jewels, and he goes down with a fading groan. Due to Vondal's non-lethal blow, he is unconscious for 3 hours. Yellow's face turns into a big O as Vondal faces him. The monk makes two quick attacks — one with his fist and one with his knee. But the (yellow) Redbrand is still standing ... and looking angrier by the second.
Karl realizes his friends are in danger and dashes, making it to K12.
OOC: I've been playing around the cones on the map. It's very confusing, and I can't find any official document explaining exactly what configurations to use. So, I've decided black should have been in the first cone as well. Black's DEX save: 21
OOC2: So, all four were injured in Zander's surprise round.
Zander takes advantage of Vondal's distraction ... well, he probably doesn't actually know what's going on, but he blasts forth again with his magic fire.
DEX saves for three standing Redbrands: 30 +2 for each — should have been 3: 12
Since there's no way to aim at Yellow without hitting Blue as well, and because 10 is more than his maximum hp ...
After the wave of fire blows though the crowd, the (yellow) Redbrand falls to the ground as a smoking, charred heap, landing beside his fellow (blue) Redbrand, who has also been reduced to a blackened, dead form. The (black and green) Redbrands are injured, but still standing.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Wary, but wanting to avenge his brothers, the (black) Redbrand swings his shortsword twice at Zander. (Attack: 6, damage: 3; attack: 16, damage: 3) One swing catches the sorcerer across the arm, while the second leaves a gash across his belly. The Redbrand then runs east (Q18). (Zander, you can make an AoO at disadvantage — and it would just be with your fist since you're not holding a weapon.) At the same time, the (green) Redbrand has dashed east (W21). Both are heading around the south side of the house that direction (which is across the street from the Stonehill Inn).

If the enemies hold their ground, Zander lets loose, eshploding all the faces.

Karl dashes to 16I. By my calculation it is 75 feet so that will take him one and a half rounds.
