(@Zip: less a want, and more of just taking charge after Karl backed off the first time with the unknown prison cell. Probably for the best though. Karl is the better fighter. XD)

As Vondal walks 15 feet forward, his eyes scanning the walls for anything suspicious, Karl, Droop and Nif follow. The four watch as Vondal — in slow motion, almost — steps onto a tile, which gives way beneath his foot. He is immediately pitched forward, throwing out his hands in order to catch himself. But as his body makes contact tiles further on, they give way as well, and the dwarf falls through the floor. Droop gasps. Karl's eyes widen, but then he facepalms. Vondal falls 20 feet to the dirt floor of the pit, landing upon the broken tiles and wood supports of the trap, taking 9 bludgeoning damage and landing prone. Vondal finds himself in a 10 by 10 pit. There is a Vondal-shaped hole in the ceiling above. Looking up, he can see wood supports crisscrossing just enough to keep the tiles from falling, but ready to collapse when very little weight is added.
Zander has made it down to the north bridge. There has been no sign of the nothic.
Vondal lets out a long, drawn out groan. "I'm okay... Mostly... Think I'm... Think I'm gonna take a nap. You go 'ead. Easy ten footer... *cough*… jump."And so, while mindful of nothing too sharp dug further into his back, the gold dwarf tried to find a comfortable spot to stay laying down, and nurse his wounded pride. "Don't forget droop.."He trails off into another long drawn out groan.

Though he isn't looking, Droop's head appears above the hole. In her small voice, she says a short prayer in the goblin tongue. Soothing energy washes over Vondal.
Karl looks at Nif and says "alright young'un how do we get across that lot."He starts to uncoil the rope that is strapped to his backpack and continues "while you're thinkin' 'bout it, I'll get that idiot out of there"as he throws one end of the rope down to Vondal.
If Vondal hears any of Karl's comments, no counter comes from him. But when the rope does reach at least close to him, a heavy sigh is followed by him flopping over and slowly start making his way towards it. Though along the way, he has at least one last look around to see if anyone else had the misfortune of dropping down, and thus might have a few noteworthy things to bring back to the surface... for their kinsman, of course.
Perception: 18(PP 11). (+1 more if allowed to use Investigation)
Once about satisfied with his search, he starts to grab the rope, has a think, then backs up and says, "Think you can drop down once yer on otherside? I rather not have to try make jump if not needed."He says in between increasingly more infrequent coughs.
Vondal peers around and catches sight of a coin half hidden in the dirt.
Nif, please roll for acrobatics.
As Zander is almost parallel to the southern bridge (on the west side), he hears Nars make a sound of disgust. "There's ... there's somebody down there," the boy says. "Nars, get back," Mirna warns. Zander looks back to see Mirna grabbing her son's shoulders and pulling him back from the edge of the crevasse. Everyone then stops moving to look into the crevasse and murmur. Zander also looks, expecting to see the nothic. What he sees, however, looks more humanoid. It appears to be lying in a strange position, and much of it is covered in something dark that reflects light.

"Get back. Whatever it is, I'll deal with it, you stay back."
Zander keeps his fireball up, preparing to blast whatever it was if it jumped him. He moves closer to it, attempting to see what exactly it is, but keeping his distance.
Whatever it is is at the bottom of the crevasse. The walls are rough and can be climbed easily enough, though you should use both hands. Do you climb down?
"Not a total loss." Vondal smirks sardonically as he goes to pick up the coin. Assuming nothing more is 'attached' to it, he holds it up for closer examination, and then pockets it for later. "How are things coming along? You all make way 'cross well?"He asks while dusting himself, and even throws in a few stretches while he is at it. Though none of it keeps him from watching the groups across as best he could from the pit.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Having hauled Vondal out of the hole, Karl watches Nif very carefully - particularly where he places his feet - as he edges around the side of the pit. He then coils up his rope and attempts to follow (Acrobatics roll 16 or Athletics roll if you're feeling generous - 22)
Vondal pockets the coin and advises the others that the pit appears to be 10 feet square. He can't really watch Nif's progress, as the Vondal-shaped hole restricts his view. Nif does make it 10 feet down the hall, hugging the wall, and not falling into the pit with Vondal.
We have a little discrepancy: Vondal says he stays in the pit and Karl has Vondal climbing out. Since the hole only exists on one side of the pit, I'd think Vondal would climb up the rope. I won't even make you roll for it!
Karl follows Nif, hugging the wall, and making it past where he estimates the trick floor ends.
Droop looks up at Vondal with big eyes.
Zander picks up a rock, casts light on it, and tosses it toward the prone form at the bottom of the crevasse. Everyone looks at the humanoid for a couple seconds, then Mirna gasps. "Oh!" she says, her voice catching in her throat. "Daddy?" Nilsa asks. Mirna puts her arms around her children and draws them close as the three look down at the man lying at the bottom of the crevasse. Zander isn't sure how they recognize him; almost all of his exposed skin is cover in what the sorcerer can only assume is congealed blood. He supposes they recognize the ragged clothing.

Nif will try to cross the gap, by hugging the wall and following along that edge.
Zander keeps his eyes peeled for any telltale sign of the nothic, keeping his firebolt at the ready.

Definitely not. Zander casts light and chucks it down in the pit to illuminate it.
