OOC: If we are doing a speed shopping Karnic is also going to buy 50 gold worth of Ruby dust, bone dust, sticks incense, and sulfer for spell components; after the bag of hlding and the rations are purchased. As for finding the camp, Karnic nominates Isk.

OOC: Karnic ruby dust? I haven't a clue how you'd measure 50 gp worth so I assuming that the spell consumes it or not? If so you'd get maybe one casting of it out of it but the spell will have the cost of the spell component with it. Which spell do you need ruby dust for? Bone dust and incense, however, are not a problem. You'd get bone dust relative cheap, a sack the size of a 7pc dice set for 3 gp and 3 lbs of fine incense for 2 gold pieces. You want to cast continual flame so that requires a ruby, not ruby dust worth 50 gp which is not consumed. The spell Forcecage requires ruby dust worth 1500 gp but its 7th level?!
Examining the map Griff can't seem to orient it right in relation to the vague description of Carrowkeel. The entrances are erratic as well marked with symbols and not words or at least they're not written in any language he speaks!

OOC: The ruby/ruby dust is for Continual Flame. Also, for the incense, I can only find the blocks of incense in the equipment list and they are not given a weight; so how many blocks would the 3lbs be? With the 46 remaining party gold, Karnic would also like to purchase a small parchment with a bit of holy text written on it, and a tiny strip of white cloth; those are both spell components. With that Karnic should be done shopping, unless everyone thinks more rations should be purchased. How much in weight and days of rations do we have anyway?
Survival = 10 to read the map to get to the campsite.

OOC: *ruby dust worth 50 gp, which the spell consumes* ok got it. I could have swore it was like chromatic orb where you just needed the ruby worth 50gp, lame! I would say you got the dust then amd other supplies for around 75 gold. Rations weigh 2 lbs for 1 day so 10 days 20lbs etc..
Working together it takes Garrett and Karnic an hour as well as some erupt introductions to other camps before finally finding their party.
It's pushing 8pm now and the night is getting colder too.
OOC: I need a watch schedule as well as sleeping arrangements. Who's going to be little spoon?

Karnic looks around at the camp, "It is going to be a restless night for many tonight, but rest we still need before the morning." He finds a place to sit and places both his backpack on one side and the haversack in front of him. Karnic will then try and turn the pockets of the haversack inside out to see if there is anything to be found inside them, and saying while he does this, "We should take this time now to get ourselves organized and ready for tomorrow. I have a feeling that when the sun comes up we are not going to have that opportunity for some time." Karnic will put the 60lbs. of rations that were in the haversack to one side, "Lets get all our rations together and figure out the best way to divided it between us. Who knows what creatures and traps we will find inside the maze; not to mention the competition from other groups."

Flint will stand and greet the others when they arrive. "I have no problem taking first watch" he will say taking the heavy crossbow from his shoulder and holding it low with both hands. Flint will nod to Karnic. "I agree that we need to get rest so whoever wants to stay up with me for first watch is welcome, otherwise I think it should be time to hit the sack."

Isk comes back to the outside of the magic shop after getting the rations and find Garret and Flint missing. Assuming they rolled out to the camp, Isk attempts to find his way there as well.
Survival: 16
When he arrives, Isk will let the group know that he'll take the last watch of the evening.
”I can’t make it out guys... looks like there is A Maze here” Griff points at the map “ and This must be Carrowkeel ...“ Griff moves his finger “...but I can’t tell which way is north so it’s a dragon dice shoot” Griff looks at Nam and sees that he’s not getting anything from the map and hands it back to Flint. “ Maybe one of the other will be able to read it. “
Griff greets the newcomers with a strong wrist grabbing hand shake and a cooked spiced rabbit.
“Hey guys nice to have everyone together again.. again.”

Garrett settles down by the fire after greeting his companions. He gladly accepts the cooked rabbit from Griff.
"There are a lot of groups out here waiting for the maze. We stumbled on a few campsites until we found you. We picked up the bag of holding as we didn't have funds for a better weapon for Isk. We also purchased a ton of rations that should keep us fed."
Garrett then unloads food from his sacks. Adding to what Isk bought he has 140 days of rations to put in the bag of holding while keeping 10 days rations in his own pack.
"I recommend we each carry 10 days rations on our persons and we can store the rest in the bag and the haversack."
As he packs up the food into the bag he takes a look to see if anything is already in it.
Investigation 18
"By the way Griff, nice goggles. Where did they come from?" Looking at the him after checking the bag.
I had 30 rations on me. I'll keep 10 and put 20 in the bag. Also the 120 that Isk bought makes 140 days in the bag of holding right now. I'll keep track in the notes of the bag of holding what is in it and the weight
"Oh, I love rabbit!" Isk exclaims, taking a huge bite of the small animal, "The seasoning on this..." he says, bring his fingers together and nodding his head, "What is that, garlic and thyme? Its fantastic."
Isk will sort his pack while chomping down on the rabbit, taking 10 days rations as Garrett suggests. He lays out his various armaments -- a warhammer and maul, several javelins, and a shield -- then goes through gives them a thorough cleaning. They were already quite clean, but doing so is his nightly ritual.
"Once we get everything sorted, I'm happy to carry the extra things. You know me, I'm a pack mule at heart."
OoC: With a strength score of 20, Isk has a carrying capacity of 300lbs before being encumbered.
OOC: Guilty I understand the weight restriction but how/where do you carry ALL that? You Highlandering your javelins up your bum? Also, Paladin FYI Garret was with Isk and Karnic in town. Flint's been at the campsite for 3 hours.
Turning the bag of holding inside out *drum roll* a heavy glass vial well as a packet attached to a note written in Elvish plops onto the ground at his feet making very little sound. Garret thinking to himself, 'score'...but looking at both the flask and packet with the note isn't sure what either are but he did not really check the bag privately so his party members may or may not have seen these boons.
flask = alchemist's fire - This sticky, adhesive fluid ignites when exposed to air. As an action, you can throw this flask up to 20 feet, shattering it on impact. Make a ranged Attack against a creature or object, treating the alchemist's fire as an Improvised Weapon. On a hit, the target takes 1d4 fire damage at the start of each of its turns. A creature can end this damage by using its action to make a DC 10 Dexterity check to extinguish the flames.
OoC: Well, everything that isn't a large chunk of metal (like the rations) are in a backpack, the warhammer is on a belt loop, the shield and javelins are lashed to the pack, and there is a loop strap under the pack that the maul sits in when i'm not holding it in my hands. Thats all starting equipment for the class, so it shouldn't be an issue to carry it.

OOC: So you know how you type something up and it makes sense to you but then someone else reads it and it doesn't make as much sense to them? Ya, that. That was Garrett finding the camp and Griff offering him food as he arrived. I could have made that more clear, sorry.
As Garrett checks the bag a couple items fall out and he reaches down and picks them up to examine them. The flask looks interesting and he sets it aside for the moment. He then picks up the small packet and looks at the note. He sees that it is written in Elvish and reads what it says (Elvish is one of Garrett's languages).
OOC: Which roughly translates to 'to be invisible/disappear allows one to truly see an enemy' or being invisible you'll see people/things as they truly are and not acting for your benefit. Garret needs to ID both items or he could roll arcana to see if they even seem magical. He could also ask around to others if they are able to perform such feats.
