Well, if each square is 25 feet, Mikey will move as far as he can forward and position himself between Grem and Leon. He will use his bonus action to dawn the new gloves that he got to try to figure out what they do. He'll use his action to go into shell defense mode.
The Water monster makes a large tentacle with its body and strikes out at Gremryl! The Paladin manages to deflect it with his shield, causing no damage. The Water monster recedes into the pool, and disappears from sight..
"Bloody hell, and its tentacles..uh boy I be not a fan of these tentacles. Dont be listening to elmo! Go help rowland with the derro! I'll watch our backs"
Gremryl will walk towards Rowland while watching the lake for the monster.

to all,
"Don't be listening to Grem Leon me lad. This dwarf be taken with tentacles. I bet he be blushing. Now quiet, We don't know if this water beast can be hearing us. Be on the look out and save that derro sack of shitte if ye can. I be he has answers to questions we be wanting to know"
Elmo then moves to a suitable location by the wall and uses his bonus action to stealth from the submerged water beast.
Stealth check: 20
Elmo holds his action. He moves to the wall and hold a shit with his light crossbow if the water monster appears again.
Bonus action= emerge from shell. Mikey is going to shadow Grem and keep Grem between him and the water. When all movement has been expended, Mikey will go back into shell defense mode.
Rowland will use his rope to quickly tie up Droki and then attempt to pick him up and begin carrying him back towards the alchemists chamber, keeping as close to the wall as possible away from the pool.
Eye balling the water to the group "keep a good distance back from water line lads.. this things er... whiplike appendages have some reach on them! I watch the water!"
Rowland picks up the Derro and throws him over his shoulder. As carefully as possible, the Ranger makes his way back towards the rest of the group. At the path's narrowest point, where it's impossible not to be close to water, the Water monster appears without warning and attacks Rowland! Whipping its water tentacle around faster than Rowland can dodge, the Water monster's attack deals 7 damage! The tentacle wraps itself around Rowland, grappling him and pulling him over the ledge, into the water!
(Rowland is now in the water, is grappled and hanging on to the ledge with his hands. The Derro was dropped on the ledge during the attack.)

Rowland has a flashback to the last time Elmo slipped him a pocket meat. Remembering this he recalls how heavy his trousers had gotten and that they had needed pulling up and readjusting recently and telling himself to remember to pick up a belt on their next trip to the markets.
Without releasing his grip on the edge of the pool, Rowland will attempt to quickly twist and wriggle his way out of his trousers and up over the edge of the pool!
Using his Action to attempt to slip out of the Water monster's grasp, Rowland is successful! Rowland is able to get back onto the ledge and is in the prone position.
Rowland looks down and sure enough, his pants are floating in the pool just a few yards away..and it creeps slowly closer towards the swirling vortex..

Leon knows that the effects of his spell take it's...toll...on the water monster. It ripples with magical energy as it reverberates the ringing sound.

Grems keeps moving toward Rowland and droki while eyeing the water

Elmo's crossbow attack misses the Water monster and sinks into the pool's vortex.
Leon's spell once again takes effect and the Water monster reverberates with pain.
The Water monster recedes back into the pool of water, hidden once again from sight.
Gremryl will rush towards Rowland yelling "everyone back away from the water!"

I'd like to use dash and while doing do run a javelin in the water while I run to try to distract the monster and have it come towards gremryl.
