With absolute quietness and unbelievable attention to detail, Elmo sees before him
two large ape-looking creatures that are walking about, almost in a patrol-like fashion. They appear very dangerous and not to be taken lightly! They likely have very high health and incredible strength.
Elmo takes note of what he sees, then returns to the group.
Gremryl isn't normally scared of nothing... but on this instance...
"Well, we can try to sneak by, Leon casted a mighty fine spell, and I feel sneakier than a halfing in a brothel. We can try to sneak by and worst case they hear us and I'm forced to smite them."
Elmo sneaks forward to the farthest point he can get an accurate shot. Slowly tip toeing, and crawling his way to a dark position behind a rock, he Steadies his crossbow carefully on the short rock that he hid himself behind. Elmo takes aim at the eye socket of the gorilla demon closest to him.
Telepathically to his team
I got sights on the ugly bastard closest to me. Ready to tear him a new arse. Go ahead and get into position everybody. Grem, Ill wait for your call. I think I see a right proper place to bottle neck these wankers up ahead. Careful mate, these things seem a wee bit much. Maybe ye or Leon can use ye bloody gods to protect your arses.
Elmo's Religion check: Elmo thinks back to his days entreating the nuns to a game of "hide the prayer beads"...it was in those memories that he recalls stories of fiendish apes that roam certain demon-run jungles and other demon-infested locales. These apes were feared by many inexperienced adventurers and prized for their hides that fetch a fair coin to a skilled leather craftsman. It's said that they are very intelligent and incredibly strong creatures, capable of bounding great lengths to attack their prey. Elmo also recalls that they've been reported as knowing certain magical spells and have resistances to some elemental forces. Elmo then chuckles quietly to himself as he recalls what happened at the end of those stories...with the nuns.
Stool - "Yes sir, Mr. Gremryl!" it says in how you think a Myconid soldier would respond to its captain.
Stool begins emitting its telepathic spores throughout the cavern and towards the direction of where Elmo indicates the creatures may be laying in wait for unsuspecting prey to come along.
Stool - "Uh-oh...I think they know I'm here now!"
It's this moment that the group realizes the folly of their decision...Asking Stool to probe their mind would surely give cause for notice to these beasts that they were no longer alone in the cavern. Elmo uses his stealth to keep from being seen and is successful (for now).
Morgana's Stealth roll (-1+10): 14
Morgana on the other hand, isn't as stealthy and is noticed by the enemy!
Morgana's Guidance roll: 3
Morgana's Stealth roll including the the Guidance roll: 17
Gremryl's Divine Sense: Closing his eyes for a moment, and calling upon his inner strength of divine sense, Gremryl immediately realizes that this situation just got a lot worse. 50% worse to be exact. There's a 3rd creature that's hiding behind the first two that Elmo can see! These are definitely Fiends they're dealing with here.

Realizing they fiends and also not alone, He'll convey that to the crew
"There is another one hiding, maybe invisible. let them come to us then"
Seeing how its about to go down, He steels himself and actually gets extremely angry. More fiends!! by Moradin they keep coming!
"Moradin I be needing ye again.. These fould fiends stand in our way and i need ye protection. " He'll use his bonus action Shield of Faith
and i'll ignite my mace so its glowing green.
"Hey, you, you piece of Fiendish shiite! Ye look like a cross between a ******** owlbear and no toothed orc whore! I'm surpised they didn't toss ye off a cliff! you abomination to all that is Good! Come on over here and let me bless you with Moradins will!" He stands about as tall as a dwarf can stand.

Initiative= 15
Sneak attack action: I'm gonna enable quickened casting and then fire a pair of fireballs just behind the two apes I can see clearly. This should fry all three monkeys and come just short of frying me. I will also squeal "surprise!!" as I do it
Damage on fireball 1= 31
Damage on fireball 2= 25
Monkeys all need to make a dexterity saving throw. I will then fly up and over my comrades and hover just over stool.
I'll say to stool: "Keep us psychically in communication, little buddy!"
Morgana looks to her right and gives Elmo a fiendish wink. Elmo returns in kind with a mischevious grin. Both have telepathically communicated a joint-strike at the two large beasts they can make out about 20 ft from their location in the cave. Taking aim and casting the incantations of a powerful spell, Morgana sends a Fireball hurtling towards the center of the beasts. Elmo lets loose a bolt from his crossbow, aiming for one of the beast left eye. Just as the bolt finds itself an inch short of the eye socket, but wounding the beast, nonetheless, he remembers..."Barlgura!" That's what this beast is called, Elmo thinks to his group. Then you watch as the fireball careens into the center of the Barlgura and shield themselves from the fiery blast with their over-sized, muscular arms, covered in hair. Where normal fur would have caught fire, this demonic coat of fur almost repels the flames from touching the beasts' skin.
Damaged and enraged, Elmo has another opportunity to make an attack since he's first on the Initiative Order!
"moradins breath, that was Furious indeed!! Morgana you are one furiousa indeed!! "
to Hemmeth:
"Alright Hemmy! remember the training we have been doing, and remember one thing above all else.. It behooves us Dwarfs by the will of Moradin to smite all things evil.. and those walking Furried ugly arseholes are DEFINITELY evil! Get ye javelin, and ye warpicks ready, they'll be coming on strong, might be you do that getting all big trick you normally do! "
