As you all make your way down the hallway and to the door, it is clear that another area of the first level of this dungeon has been claimed by some particular faction. Along the walls are crude, yet artistic, marks of fangs - clearly, a symbol of vampires: The Undertakers.
You are at the door. It's not locked. How do you wish to proceed. Be specific.
I can just feel Cherri's life essence drain away LOL
In a swift motion, Bearianne smashes inward the door. The room, as you enter, appears to be another makeshift watch post. I have drawn three black dots on the map - they are three stone plinths. Standing atop stone plinths in the middle of the room, facing east, are three 6-foot-tall statues depicting male Waterdavian nobles clad in decorative plate armor.
In addition to the statues, there is an array of make shift desks, tables, torches, and other typical furniture. In this living area emerging from the dim light, are 9 figures, male and female. Vampires.
"Ah! Magnificent!" one of them says, "It looks like we have guests. Feeding time so soon?" Another one says, "First, they must pay the toll. Travel in these passages is not free. The Undertakers claim these halls." They all give you a menacingly evil look, but they have no yet engaged you in combat.
"The Undertakers? Like the 4 times Waterdhavian Combat League champion? Interesting, personally though I tend to prefer the women's league - Triss Skyheart is a babe and I can understand how Jamie Mikkleson is obsessed with her." Danitriel said, attempting to look and sound completely casual.
The vampires give you a look of confusion, or complete disinterest to what you just said, either one. One of the female vampires leans into another female vampire, both looking at Dani. One of them says, "That one's mine." The other vampire looks disappointed.
Alessandra is not amused at the bears bashing down of the door, her face deadpan as they now were in clear view of at about nine vampires in the face. She still stands tall and stares them down, not to intimidate, but to observe as she would do to any kind of prey like this. Remember what I taught you. Watch them. Her eyes narrow and her lips thin, not trying to make any sudden movements. She waits for the group before she does anything too rash.
((ooc: would it be possible to use her passive insight (16) to see their real intentions? or if theyre gonna strike at them or not?))

Sure you can. With a 16, here's what your gut tells you.
The pale skin. The black clothes. The long nails. The white hair. The red eyes. The fake tee- Wait a minute. Fake teeth? These aren't vampires..! Theyre wearing wigs! Makeup! Fake nails?? These are humans! Damn I look good in these heels.
"Oh my Gods," Alessandra speaks up with a laugh, not afraid of these fakes anymore. "What a joke."
She moves forward, just a little bit past Bearianne, to stand at the forefront of the group, a smirk ever so prominent on her black stained lips. "I've seen slices of cheese more intimidating than you, fakes. Even I look more like a vampire than you lot, if only I had those pretty little fake fangs of yours. Ooh, I'd look so good."
She scoffs and turns to her side to address the group. "They're playing dress up. Should we allow them their fun and move on?"

The “vampire” female eyes you back, hungrily - judging you as well, Dani. Naturally, her appearance would be one you’d appreciate for sure. She shifts her weight to her other hip, almost inviting you in.
The other “vampires” seem unaffected by Alessandras words, and while not directly hostile at the moment, do not look friendly. From their body language, they will not let you pass.
Silently, he approaches the humans with very deliberate, slow steps. Once he gets around half way down the room, he speaks: "You think this is a game?"He says, sternly. His large fists burst open in to claws, his forearms flexing and hands shaking. They glow with divine fury which he barely holds back. "Kids? Down here?" He growls. "This place is DANGEROUS! How long do you think you could keep this ruse up? We have come here to obliterate the vile things which you seek to immitate!" His voice is forceful, and filled with rage. Intimidation: 11
Danitriel frowned. She had been about to flirt with the girl, maybe take her home for a while, but the Half-Orc had a point. For a time the upper levels of Undermountain had been turn into a homeless shelter, but rising monsters put a stop to that. This was indeed no place for kids.
The "vampires" laugh uproariously. You're not sure if it's because of Bearianne's meow, or the fact that Raiik and OU812 think they're children. They are clearly adults. To them, you're not very intimidating. They approach you all closer now. You have to admit, the makeup and costumes look very real, but they all look rugged, they have been down here for quite some time it seems. The "vampire" who hungers for Dani steps forward, not amused.
"Look, you disgusting orc half breed, we DON'T think this is a game, we're not children, and we know it's dangerous. Dangerous for you, and your team of meowing animals and robots. So unless you pay us to let you through, you ain't goin' nowhere." She tilts her head a bit and gives Dani a very obvious once over again. "Unless, you leave her with me. Her blood smells...delicious."
(By the way, you guys are just killin' this adventure so far with your interactions, bumbling rolls, and role-playing. Everyone gets an perspiration, I mean, inspiration point just because i'm so beary amused.
I'm just gonna hand that shit out like candy. Here ya go! /tosses inspiration to everyone.)

For a moment Danitriel eyed the 'vampire' who tried to claim her, judging her appearance.

“Fake vampires. Silly children. Vacate dungeon immediately back to your mothers.”
Last to know and first to be blamed...
