The mining location and the trench/bridge are far enough away. If you are with the gnomes who are mining, you won't be in view of the bridge. The bridge is removable, you only have to worry about it when it is dropped in position to cross the trench.
If you don't provide a specific coordinate, I'll do my best to place Beegred 15-20' ahead of the rest of the group.
OK, I have some free time, so I'm getting this started. Your group approaches the ooze highway and sets up. I placed you as best I could based on what I could understand of your plan/intent. I will update the main thread with a map.
The first encounter roll is when you head in to scout ahead of the miner caravan. You have no one to protect but yourselves.
We should have said to the gnomes to come along and get going past this point? I mean there's definitely something going to come and try to eat you in the Underdark if you wait long enough somewhere..
Seeing the oozes arrive, Narstin summons a Spectral Hammer in front of the Black Pudding, then follows it up with a Sacred Flame
Attack: Dice rolls not yet available for this section. Damage: Dice rolls not yet available for this section.
Dex 14 or Dice rolls not yet available for this section. damage
When the forum does that, ie: "Dice rolls not yet available for this section"... edit your post and add another dice roll to the END of your post. Just call it Junk roll and it can be a simple 1d2.
If the Grey Ooze goes for the halfling, will it be at disadvantage (halfling Dodging up to the start of combat), or normal (hard to be dodging something before it came out of hiding)?

Don't even have to add another roll. At least for me, jsut editing and adding a space at the end usually fixes it.
Bonus Action: Spiritual Hammer, 7 bludgeoning damage to Black Pudding.
Minor note, spiritual weapon does Force damage, regardless what form the weapon actually takes (I don't think I've specifically noted that in any of hte attacks when I've used it in the past)
When you think about Skameros and his lack-of-smarts, remember that he is even with Beegred and Narstin.
I'm impressed that Rodolfo doesn't have a concussion, with all the face-palms from dealing with the other 3 lack-wits in the party.

End of round 2, and the Black Pudding is for all intents and purposes, a non threat. So it will take 4 encounter rolls to get all the gnomes across. The DC is 15, and it will decrease for every non-encounter, so odds are this should be easy. But if Skameros skews the odds, then...

Yup, I did know that. Just scatter brained when I wrote the post. Thanks.
Since the pudding is restrained - would this be a good time for someone to signal the gnomes to cross?
Tabaxi with a penchant for shenans. He will....shenan again...
I'd say so!
I was gonna say Skameros would move the bridge in to place if he figured out what Beegred was trying to do - but in the words of Forrest Gump
I'm not a smart man....

Tempted to make you roll a Constitution Saving Throw to see if you have a concussion or not...
I will let Rodolfo have his turn before the Beegred pantomime happens.
Yes I am surprised Rudolfo has been able to put up with us
on the flip side - I think it makes for entertaining game play :P

Does Beegred want to use his turn to move across the bridge?

Hey now! :P

With the black pudding dead, the gnomes continue to move across the bridge. Several minutes go by. Spiritual weapon expires.
