Random monster HP is fine. The text description was ambiguous.
"The spider spasms constantly, but it doesn't appear dead yet, although by looking at its wounds, it should be."
When I read that, I think "zombie spider", or it has Relentless Rage/Endurance for some reason. Not that it is more hardy than the average spider. (Mentioning this, if this comes up again in the future. You've made it clear for this current situation.)

If my attempts at being descriptive cause confusion, or lead you to imagine something else is going on, don't hesitate to ask. For example, "Is this a normal living spider, or is it possibly undead?" In this case, I'd answer, "Definitely a living creature."
The combat table for round 2 is posted in the main thread.
The intent of the table is to be able to be able to use reactions to alter the outcome of the previous round, and the table shows who did and suffered what.
Is that useful for anyone, or am I just making work for myself for nothing?

It is helping me to keep track of who did what, but Beegred does not have any useful reactions right now. Don't worry about it, if it is a lot of work.

(Sure, I'll rule the arcana check is a bonus action. Also, Buppido only moved. He could attack before or after the move if he wants.)
(Depends if Buppido used disengage as his action.)
Right. She didn't say disengage so I moved him and no AoO. Moving on...
Taking this over to OOC...
Actually, I did use that language. I thought disengage was my action, but then I got confused when I was told I still had one. It's kind of a moot point since my attack missed, but wanted to clarify.
There's A LOT happening right now, so it's easy to miss stuff.

I was hoping we wouldn't need Eldath, but that is why she is there with her long bow.

Your choice. I will just add her to the list when I divide the XP. If you want her to join, roll her initiative. Depending on where she lands, she'll go this round (if her initiative is low) or next round (if her initiative is high).
I'll say Eldeth is 50 feet away, and the tunnel is straight enough to shoot from where she is. However, she would not have line of sight on medium spider at i10.
EDIT: actually, the map is wrong. The spider at i10 should be at G10. It already bit Derendil once.

Edited post #788. I wasn't sure if Buppido's attack had killed that spider or not.

There's something suspicious about this spider, yes?

It is definitely not a normal spider. It literally just disappeared.

Yes, my tongue was firmly planted in my cheek when I made the comment.
And I'm grateful for the combat table. There's a lot happening right now and it helps me to keep track.

It has helped me a couple times to double check and it's much easier for me to look at the table than go digging in the thread.
You find it useful too, that's good. I wish the was an easy way to copy tables into the forum, but screenshots work well enough.
Would it be appropriate for Xilyrah to do an Arcana check on the disappearing spider?
‘The hardest thing in this world is to live in it.’ - Buffy Summers
Sure, roll an arcana check.
I'm off for my tabletop night. No further updates until tomorrow! Have a good weekend.

My mistake then.
Do you all agree to call for reinforcements?
I'm on board for reinforcements.

She's a special lady. Two attacks per round, whether ranged or melee.

Just waiting on Derendil to act.
