You hear several bestial voices respond in undercommon, most of them pointing out the blackness of Sarith's spell, "But dark. Can't see."
The drow responds angrily in undercommon, "Just run through it! The darkness doesn't hurt."
The sound of bestial voices assures Jimjar that the time for throwing rocks has come to an end; he needs his manacles unlocked and a weapon in his hands, preferably his trusty war pick. He looks at the swords that Derendil has just dropped but figures those weapons should be in the hands of someone who has already escaped their bonds.
So, the dark gnome tries his luck and dashes across the bridge to the guard tower, where he will, hopefully, have his wrists freed at last...

Jimjar dashes across the bridge into the guard tower, standing in front of Buppido, waiting for his turn with the key. (L10 to G9) (Dex roll wasn't necessary.)
The Drow (Jaezred) stands up (1/2 action), sheathes his short sword (free), steps back off the slick stairs into the darkness (remainder of movement), while drawing his hand crossbow and preparing a bolt (action).
Ferriman drops one 100 foot coil of silk rope through the trapdoor.
Ront wants the shackles removed and his battleaxe. He moves next to the bridge, where Jimjar was. (O7 to L10) He'll pick up a stone to throw down the stairs if a target appears.
Shuushar speaks to Valthana via the telepathy. Everyone but Tozer, Derendil and those in the tower hear, "The drow are waking the quaggoth. They will assault from the north. Pass me the child and I will make my way into the guard tower, away from this danger. There are two short swords on the ground just in front of the fellow in front of you."
Turvy grabs the short sword Tozer dropped, and then takes one of the hand crossbows from Topsy then flattens himself against the wall next to the bridge. (E8 to H8).
Topsy calls up to the armory above in undercommon, which the people in the tower hear telepathically as well in their common tongue, "Rope later! Weapons now!" She runs to the opening in the tower and shoots at one of the spiders below.

Sarith: He moseys across the bridge (not difficult terrain for Drow), snatches the keys from Buppido, and unlocks his (Sarith's) manacles. Holds the keys loosely, so Jimjar (or someone else) can grab the keys next. Currently at F9. (He is eyeing the ladder. After the keys are handed off, he is headed up there to hand down equipment. Let the expendable prisoners risk their lives in combat, not Sarith.)
Beegred: Grabs another pair of hand crossbows + quivers (which I assume is his Action), goes down the ladder, and stops at G10. (He is planning on using one of the crossbows eventually, but is willing to hand off the 2nd one.)

(O11) She thinks to Shuushar, "I will carry the little one. My strength will allow me to carry him further and faster. Stay behind me, and if I must, I will pass him to you to fight."
The large spider that was hit by Topsy scurries away.
The quaggoth, always fearful of their masters, follow the drow orders literally. Not being the brightest beasts in the underdark, they will have to roll a DC 15 INT check to recall the left turn outside of their lair, which is currently being enveloped in Sarith's Darkness spell. If they do not recall the turn and simply run through the darkness to get past it, they will run off the edge of the platform.
If so, they will get a DC 15 DEX Saving throw to grab onto the webbing and not fall. Otherwise, they fall.

Straight off the platform!
Quaggoth DEX saving throw: 14
Completely misses the grab for the web and plummets into the water below. Those of you who wish, can roll a Perception check to hear the beasts surprised grunt (DC 10) followed by a fading scream (DC 15) and finally the splash in the water below (DC 20).
(It is now Tozer, Xilyra, and Derendil's turns to act.)
Despite his ambition to push this escape attempt forward, Tozer senses that it's too soon to rush headlong down the stairs. After seeing the effectiveness of Topsy's shot at the spider, he yells toward the guard tower, "Continue to fire on those spiders!"
He then moves to the top of stairs (N8), staying as close as possible to the right-hand wall.
Xilyra, moves onto the platform (N10) where her magic will work and readies an Eldritch Blast aimed at the first foe to come out of the darkness cloud.
(Tozer used his movement, still has an action. Waiting on Derendil to act)

The ONE smart quaggoth in the bunch takes a left in the darkness cloud onto the first step where it must make a save vs. Narstin's Sacred Flame (DC 13):

Simultaneously, Xilyra launches her Eldritch Blast Attack: 11 Damage: 1 and misses.
Then the Quaggoth makes a DEX saving throw versus the slippery stairs: DEX saving throw vs. Stairs: 6 and falls prone.
The three other quaggoths fling themselves off the platform, into the water below.
Buppido hands Jimjar the key and runs up into the armory above.
The drow (Imbros) realizing what has happened rages, "FOOLS! You," as he points to the remaining Quaggoth, "Go into the darkness and then run up the stairs. Don't run straight through!"
Jimjar takes hold of the keys from Buppido and frees himself from the manacles. He then yells up to the lads in the armory, "A war pick and some poisoned darts, if you don't mind!"

Then he aims his hand crossbow at Derendil, but thinks better of wasting his poisoned arrow, and switches his aim to Tozer.

Narstin prepares another Sacred Flame (7 damage) to send at the next drow or Quaggoth to come through the darkness and be visible.
