Skameros will run towards the spider at H9 and give two mighty swings of his greataxe, trying to remove some legs.

Skameros successfully removes a pair of legs and chunks of thorax as well!

The Giant Spider (@G17) attacks Orubis (21 To-Hit, see game log) for 8 piercing and 6 poison damage.  Orubis falls, against some strand of webs, stiff as a board, paralyzed and unconscious.

The Giant Spider (@H9) is seriously wounded and will disengage and try to escape.

The Crawling Claw continues to pursue Skameros but fails to do any harm.

(Thurnir's turn.  Beegred on deck)

Thurnir uses BA to transfer his hunter’s mark to the spider in front of him, and then hits it twice for a 24 and a 20, for 7 +2 HM and 10+6 HM damage.   If that doesn’t take the spider down, he will burn a spell slot for an extra 12 smite damage.  
Glancing at Orubis,, he says “hang in there, I’ll get t’ ye next”

Beegred movies to N16 to assist Rodolfo with the spider next to him.
Can't have Rodolfo dying, since he is the next smartiest person in the party... after Beegred, of course.

(There's only a crawling claw left that is attacking Skameros.  One injured Giant Spider is fleeing.)

Rodolfo shoots a ray of frost at the fleeing Giant Spider (if in range, otherwise against the crawling claw):

The Giant Spider freezes in it's tracks (hehe), curls up into a ball and falls into some webs below.

Skameros will attempt to finally squash the hand that's been pestering him

Skameros attempts some hand to hand combat (hehe) and manages to land one glancing hit.

Undeterred by Skameros's slap to the wrist (hehe), the hand pokes two fingers into Skameros's eye (crit hit!, see log) for 4 slashing damage (before raging reduction).

(regardless of what Thurnir does) Rodolfo will first gust at the hand hurting Skameros (STR save 15 or be pushed away 15 feet).

Then he will attempt to slide closer to the body of the gnoll. Dex save: 22

(all spiders down?). thurnir moves toward the claw,  (don’t think he can close the distance) and Tosses a dagger at it. (In log)

19 to hit for 8 piercing damage.  “grab that dagger if ye can, ‘twas  my brudder’s”  

Thurnir tosses a dagger at the hand and it catches the dagger... by the pointy end.

If that is successful, Beegred hacks at Mr Handy.

Beegred moves up to Skameros, stabbing twice at the crawling claw.  The first stab removes the index and thumb.  The second stab removes the pinky and ring finger.  The crawling claw appears to be defeated, as it remains stuck to a web with its one remaining unmoving finger.

As everyone looks around looking for more danger, a loud voice booms out in undercommon, "Impressive!  These demons that are invading the Silken Paths are becoming bothersome.  And I should be incensed that you killed the spawn of Lolth, but that will just make the little one worth even more!  I suppose there's no chance you'd all disarm and tie up the escaped prisoner and be on your way, would you?"

The booming voice doesn't appear to wait for a response, as it continues, "I thought not.  Good journey to you then, I'm off to collect my reward and be away from here.  Making loud noises in the Silken Path is unwise.  Tsk tsk."

The quiet left by the absence of the voice only accentuates the now humming of webs as they vibrate.

Rodolfo quietly looks through the corpse of the gnoll. Investigation check: 8

He then says, "We should keep moving."

“Huh?  Who’s that? Reward?  Best not be claimin any award whot’s rightly ours.“. Thurnir looks around futilely for the source of the voice.   He then proceeds to check the bodies of the gnoll, others over for anything of value, and retrieves his “brudder’s” dagger from the crawling claw, after twisting and stabbing it a few times for good measure.
