Immediately after the final bandit drops, Duncan will drag both the dead, and unconscious bandits near him back towards the wagon. He will tie up any still breathing, and put any corpses (including those that were on the other side near Elber) in the wagon "They may have a bounty" he'll say to the team.
Once they are securely tied, Duncan will slap the Captain awake and say "I told you you chose the wrong wagon today. Now..." taking the butt of his glaive and pushing it into the stomach of the Captain "be of some use for us, your friends weren't."pointing to the dead "Tell us about the Scorpion."INTIMIDATION: 11 + bardic inspiration4 ((anyone wanna 'help' with the roll? :P)) ((edit... if anyone helps, use this for advantage, still adding the bardic inspiration. If not, ignore. 16))
The man grins winningly. "I suppose the game is up. They call me The Scorpion, eh?" He shakes his head. " The names these people come up with. I'm Narder Ordan, by the way, but if you insist on calling me The Scorpion I'll offer no resistance. "
(If I recall correctly, the only bandit who was killed was the one Jack hit with an arrow.)
Jack got two sets of manacles at the armory and gives them to Duncan. “Better than rope, can’t cut these on a sharp rock. But since we only have two sets, I will leave it up to you what to do with the other two. I say slit their throats and be done with them. They damn near killed me so if you don’t have the stomach for it, I can do it.” ((There my help action for intimidation))
Jack will find a hiding spot with a good vantage point to keep an eye out.

While the others interrogate, Elber examines the ambush spots for supplies and weapons (both of which he will later bring back to the cart), and tracks from where the bandits came from.

Landrae watches as the others set to securing the area and she helps out by securing the unconscious bandits on the cart. Listening in on Duncan's conversation with this 'Narder'. Not believing that this can be all there is to the vaunted Scorpion menace, she too questions the truth of his claim ((help Duncan with his roll))
Landrae will casually saunter up beside Duncan and watch the shackled bandit for the time being, allowing Duncan to pursue his line of questioning and see where it leads.
Kai is also not satisfied. That a forest can be so empty of life isn't natural, he will join Duncan, and wait for a chance to ask his question. "What has happened to all of the animals? There are no birds, no chipmunks, nothing. This is not natural, and I feel you know the reason."
If he doesn't get a satisfying answer, he will suggest, "In such emptiness, there are probably unnatural things roaming the night. Perhaps, we should leave him here. I am sure the smell of blood will attract something in the night."
Landrae whispers in Duncan's ear "Let's play along a little, give him some rope to hang himself with, before you kick his chair away. Keep drilling him for details, I'll follow your lead and take over when he starts to trip up."
As Elber returns to the cart with the weapons he juggles the meager scraping of coin he found and chuckles. "These be the poorest excuse for wanted brigands, I once killed a starving goblin with more coin. Has the blonde one volunteered the location of their camp yet?"

Kai looks at Nadar with disgust and disbelief, "You ate them all? Great armies cannot denude a forest so completely. Nay, he lies. I say leave him trussed here for the dinning of whatever is responsible."
It appears that Ordan is lying, but he honestly knows no more than you do about the absence of wildlife. Realizing that he won't be fooling Kai, Landrae, or Duncan anytime soon, Ordan drops the act.
"I've never been one for small talk. What do you want from me?"
Elber draws his greatsword and plants it in the ground to lean on it, looking bored at the bandit as he does so. "Answers to questions that already be asked. Begin with the Scorpion, then the location of your camp."
The man sighs. "I sincerely doubt that you will believe a word I say. The best option left available to us, as far as I am concerned, is for me to lead you directly to The Scorpions camp."
Duncan lands a glancing blow but the man shrugs it off and disappears into the underbrush. Duncan, if you wish to pursue make a Perception check.

The bandit leaves a trail of blood as he stumbles into the forest, and Duncan locates and incapacitates the man without too much trouble.
Congratulations! You have all reached level 2.

Duncan and Landrae recognize that the man is bluffing.
Jack, the woods and road are currently clear.
Elber, you scavenge 15 copper pennies, some dried meat, and several crossbows and scimitars from the bodies.
Narder laughs uncomfortably at Kai's inquiry. "I guess we must've eaten 'em all, eh boys?"
