Veryes realizing her efforts may have been poorly timed tries to slip off the stage and tuck tail and gtfo.

Aria looks over to Crush and the bouncer... and then back at the fiasco happening back on stage... Is this a normal night here?

Fifty feet from the door to the tavern, Sen stands in the street, trembling and clutching his robe tightly to him.  He watches as twelve almost naked women and their guard arrive and enter the keg.  This city is a madhouse, he thinks.  What am I doing here?  He slowly creeps towards the door to the inn, as he doesn't see the other party members in the street.  When he reaches the door, he peers in, looking for the others, but wary in case the one who tried to pick his pockets sees him.

Stealth: 22

Crush, realizing that the fight wasn't going to happen as the crowd seems to be distracted by performance will look to Aria. "We Go... " The orc would grunt with a look of disappointment before heading towards the door hoping to regroup with his companions. 

Assuming Usul sees the large orc heading for the door, will cut through the crowd and follow him out.

Glonzo Glitterguts shouts something unintelligible about Veryes' performance and then launches into the above song. The crowd is hot for him - and the women. The party is able to make their way out of the Keg...

...and walks squarely into Shadrach.

Before anyone can say anything, though, two drunk would-be adventurers also emerge from the Keg behind the party, having followed Veryes out of the building, demanding to know what the answer to the riddle is and what kind of adventure they're going on with the party. They're quite mad now, having tried to get an answer several times and being consistently avoided. 

Usul will be listening for the answer to the riddle as well. Seeing Shadrach he'll look up, give the nod you would any acquaintance seen on the street, and pass by. He has nothing to say to him, and trusts him about as far as he can throw him (which, for a gnome trying to throw a tall man in full armor, is straight into a hernia).

Sen flinches as he sees the towering armoured figure, and tries to remain hidden.

Veryes addresses the 2 who have followed her out. "Sorry to have not told you the answer. I had to do my bit on stage. You know how duty calls. I'll tell you the answer now so perhaps the next time someone is looking for a guide you'll be better prepared." Then leaning a bit to the side she'll jump back and shriek "What the hell is that!"

As soon as their eyes are off of her, if they turn, or even look away for a second I'll cast dancing lights into one glowing vaguely humanoid form of Medium size behind them.

Then saying to our buddy Shad "We have information about Anna but these punks are kinda preventing us from telling you at the moment"

Crush would have turned around hearing the two angry men question his companion. Slowly drawing his two hand axes, the orc would flash a large toothy smile to the couple as he walks right up to them, putting himself between the men and his friends. " Now you want fight!?" Crush would shout pointing a hand axe at each of them men. "Crush thirsty for blood!"

(I feel so bad for Sen. We need to make an NPC therapist for him. He's had such a bad 48 hours).

 He'll be okay.  He just needs to be a bit less terrified of literally everything.  He'll get there. :)

The men turn and see the glowing form behind them and freeze, not sure what to make of that. "What?!" one of them shouts. They panic, not sure what to do. When Crush draws his axes, they both go to run away, but the one on the left goes right and the one on the right goes left and then hit each other. They knock heads and it makes a loud, hollow "THUNK" sound. 

OOC: LOL, classic! Do we even see Sen outside? He got pretty stealthy?

Good question - we'll say that no one sees Sen right now, he's hidden himself in the shadows.

Veryes shaking her head says to no one in particular "No matter where you go drunk they are"

Then addressing Shadroch "Thanks for your help your hunk of metalness. What are you doing here?"

Shadrach says, "Wait, these guys are giving you trouble?" He's kind of surprised. The drunks are cornered - let's roll for initiative and see how this plays out.

Sen, feeling like a wretched and useless coward, steps out of the shadows and stands beside Veryes as she asks her question.  Isn't the whole point of this job that he can't investigate in places like this?  What's going on?  he thinks as he readies himself for whatever might happen next.
