Nox

While they move toward the warm up tent Nox gives Mateu a respectful nod. “It’s Matt right? You gonna introduce your friends?”

"These lovely ldies are Berrie and Cherrie. I helped them get backstage out of the kindneas of my heart." Mateu says to Nox.

(Ha, ok) Berri and Cherri clinging tightly to Mat say to Nox "Isn't he just soooo great!" "and soooo handsome!"

Perception 9 are they both actually female?  (Yep)

Yup, everything seems on the up and up, but I did realize that they're not really linking arms. Being so small one is holding your hand Mat, the other has arm around your leg roaming up and down your thigh.

So what do you folks want to do for a 'try out'? Do you all want to do a little warm up? Just have Nox show off her goods? I mean talents? I mean... sing?

Mateu will smirk to himself bout the two halfling women paying him special attention, nodding for Noz to show them what she can do.

Nox

Nox begins tuning her viol. It's a seven stringed instrument, shorter than usual, it has a chin rest, but as you can see as the changeling sits down it can also be played in a nearly normal position. Instead of being held between the legs Nox places the bottom of it on top her legs. She begins drawing the bow across the strings playing a fairly generic tune that can be heard in most any tavern on any given night. As you are about to stop this and send Nox on her way the playing suddenly shifts. Instead of drawing the bow across the strings she now plucks at them while quickly moving her other hand over the frets. Its the same tune as before but its lost that smooth feel of bland dinner music to a more jaunty one that you could dance a jig to. Again the playing changes as the musician stands this time strumming across the strings. Nox's grip shifts so that the instrument is held horizontally instead of vertically, no longer the same tune Nox begins to sing as well. 

This time the musician themselves change. A still slender male changeling with a similar outfit but much more masculine in style plays before you.

He gives a hard strum across the strings leaving the note hang in the air as the base of the viol comes up under his chin and and the bow starts playing over the strings again. This time he holds the bow over handed and it moves at a lightning pace. As you look at his fingers moving over the neck, faster than any non musician could keep up with, you realize that suddenly they are not the smooth hands of a changeling but are scaled.  Nox now stands before you a tall well muscled blue dragonborn. 

"You know what. That can work with our sound. Mat?"

"Yes I do beleive thst it will work quite well. It would be ideal if we had more time to practice together but as long as wel can reach some level of synchronicity we should be able to play well enough." Mateu says with a smile.

"Good. I get the impression a bad show is more than career damaging...."

Nox

"I can also play the flute and a drums if I need to. As well as provide some magical flair." Four balls of light appear in Nox' hand spinning around each other then vanishing again. "Maybe you guys could run me through a few of your songs quick and I can try to teach one I've got that we can play. Then I can get more of a feel of your style as well."

"My skills outside of play instruments is better used in acting in a play or as someone other then myself. My instruments of choice are the lute, drums, and a pan flute although it will not be hard to use another if it is needed." Mateu says.

Inside the green room most people look to Nox playing and some nod and tap their feet along, some applaud, some too far in their haze to really notice. You can hear one person saying "Shit, I hope I don't have to follow that"

Just for the sake of expedience I'm going to say that you all share some tunes with each other and through your practicing together you're all INSPIRED by what each member contributes...

Unless you want to RP it out, that's fine too, you'll still be inspired for your performance on stage.
