Strife, you wipe the dust and cobwebs from the walls and step back to take in the entierty of the mural. A faded fresco depicts humanoid reptile people gathered in supplication around a huge black serpernt.
the slit-pupil eyes of the huge serpent stir a memory in you. You recall tales of an enormous serpent called "Dendar" being revered as a deity by the Yuan-Ti. Supposedly, she will be the harbinger of the end of the world and even the gods themselves.
All, the eastern door is wooden and swings outward on rusty hinges. Inside is a small room covered in spiderwebs. Desiccated corpses lie amongst other web covered objects. There are four corpses on the floor and one hanging out of reach from the ceiling. Light streams into the room from a large hole in the ceiling. Bits of dried vegetation and various piles of bones litter the floor as well.
"I feel like there are probably spiders around here that are bigger than I am.." Strife would mutter aloud as he slowly enters the room. "You want me to ignite all those web sacks... ya know.. .to make sure that nothing bad comes out? The fire wont but any coins or magic items too bad...." the kobold would say as he holds his orb and dagger.
All, headed to work now. I'll be back on around 2pm central time tomorrow. Feel free to have your characters explore the rooms and let me know what you're doing.
Strife would launch a fire bolt towards the hanging web covered corpse, watching and waiting to see if anything hostile emerges. After waiting a bit the kobold would make his way around to the corpses on the ground and search their bodies for anything of value or importance. If the flaming corpse falls to the ground, Strife will use control flames to put out the fire before looting that body as well.

After the fire bolt Strife launches, Lady Susanne will search around the room for anything hidden or treasure under the webs or on the bodies covered in web. She will stay aware for any danger...
Strife, the hanging corpse quickly falls to the ground with a thump. The web burns away and you see the shriveled corpse of an elven woman. Her face is contorted in a mask of agony and her limbs are twisted in painful looking contortions. No apparent threat materiazlizes after a few seconds and you burn the webs from the rest of the corpses. The four other corpses are revealed to be a human warrior in rusted and damaged chainmail and a female gnome whose thin robes have long-since rotted away, leaving a small shriveld husk in strips of rags. A male half-orc lies barechested on his stomach. His back is riddled with large holes. The fourth corpse is a human woman in leather armor. She lays in a fetal position ont he floor, with her hands drawn tight against her chest. She appears to be holding something.
After looting the five corpses, the party finds 125gp, 75sp, and 25cp. A longsword, +1 with an image of a Heron stamped into the blade near the hilt, 2potion of healing, and an amber colored orb that the human woman was clutching to her chest. The orb is roughly fist-sized and has a black line through the middle of it. Nothing else of value was found in the room.
All, I changed the texture of the floor becuase the grid did't show up well on it.

Strife would distribute the coins evenly between those that want it. before picking up the orb and holding it tightly in his hands... looking into the orb and trying to determine if it is magical in any way. "I wonder why this orb was so important...." The kobold would ask aloud as he examines the orb.
Arcana? 6
(Strife has no interest in the weapon or healing potions and would give them to whoever wants them)

"I think we may want to leave the statue door for now and check out the other 2 doors first." Lady Susanne says, "May go to the right one first?"

What knowledge check would Seldor need to make to try and recall info about the mural?

Seldor, nothing about the mural is familiar to you.
"We thinks right fine." Feng will approach the door and place his hand on it, turning toward his group before opening.
I don't have a signature.
Strife would move to the center of the room and nod to Feng.
The Eastern (Right-side) door?
Vappa will make a religion check on the murals.

Seldor will cast Identify on the orb. Or he'll wait until he gets to a safe place if he doesn't think that he'll get 10 free minutes here.
