Golver will reach into his pack and pull out a torch and light it to supplement the light before walking in a small circle around the area, trying to spot anything else other than the runes on the floor.

Kat frowns and cranes her head, looking around as well.

OOC: Flying home today and going straight to Seder, Kat will share anything she spots with the group and AA can puppet her if needed.

Kat and Golver discover noting else about their surrounding.

Caerlan Casts his gaze about the space his darkvision combating the oppressive darkness. 

Perception 12 

Kat starts examining the runes on the ground closely.

Arcana: 16

Golver, noticing Kat examining the runes would dig through his pockets and pull out the magnifying glass. "Here... this may help but I dont think those runes are anything special" Golver would say before continuing to look around.

"Definitely check them out then." Caerlan whispers to Kat in gnomish, winking as he does.

The gnomes together riddle out that this is a teleportation circle!

"It's a teleportation circle!" Kat gasps excitedly.

"Well turn it on then!" Golver would say as hu points the light from his orb and torch towards the runes.

Kat rolls her eyes. "It's not that simple. I'm not sure how to start it up without a spell of appropriate power."

     The wolf sits down on the circle. It looks around the space, a keen ear cocked up, listening as the others talk.

(Do our voices echo like we're in a really large cavern, Perception 21)

    After a moment the form of the wolf begins to shrink down, the hair retreating into its form as it does so. Soon Necey the halfling remains, sitting cross-legged. "Well. That was exciting!" She says getting to her feet. She pulls out the bullseye lantern and lights it. "I guess we need to do some more exploring to figure out what to do." She pulls her bow off her back and proceeds to walk to the (4, 1 north, 2 east, 3 south, 4 west) with lantern held high.

(Can we roll for the other patches on our robes, just so we know what we're working with?)

It does echo like it's endless but as you walk west you notice the teleportation circle ends and there's a channel dug into the floor.

Caerlan walks along with Necey until the trench he then follows it around in a clockwise direction after saying "How about you go that way and I'll go this. See if this surrounds us!" 

The channel is less than 12 inches deep. It only seems to go west.

    Necey kneels down and points her lantern to the channel, then reaches down inside to check if there is anything inside. "It seems to only go one way, and this is all we have to work with so far... shall we see where it goes?" she asks to the others in the group.

"Sounds good" Golver would say as he shines his orb and torch in front of him as he heads off following the trench. 

Kat nods, eyes sparkling. "Let's go!"

Caerlan nods in agreement and sets off carefully.
