"Well, that's one way of doing this," Dot blushes as she sees Sy and Isu diving so quickly into their roles.
"Now that we are all geared up, let us make ourselves comfortable until we reach our destination. We have a long road ahead of us and it starts in Cree. I don't know about you, Greywind, but I am ready to get into this assignment. Very exciting! It may not be the front lines, but we will be doing something equally as important." She reaches into her bag and pulls out a handful of shot glasses and a bottle of a caramel colored liquid. She places the small glasses all in a row, uncorks the bottle and does one masterful pour. Spilling only drops of the liquor on the lid of the crate which she was using as a makeshift table. "Hear hear, to you, to me, better than Bre, can see it's plain, better than Thrane, a real burning fire, better than Cyre, always pass the test, better than Karrnath, Aurala, strong yet fair, here is to us, because Aundair Dares!"
She'll raise her glass for the toast and clink the glasses of everyone who drinks the liquid with her. A straight shot, right down the gullet. Her face never changes except for a slight smile can be seen on her lips and a fire in her eyes.

Isuzu slides out of Sylrie's lap just long enough to fetch two glasses... one for him and one for herself... as she quickly takes her spot back on his lap holding her glass up to Sylrie and the others, to join in on the toast...
Sarge moves uncomfortably away from Isuzu and Sy after slinging back his glass, making a sour face and pulling out his waterskin to chase it down. "Gnome piss, LT."
Dot shakes her head at Sarge and pulls another shot for herself, looking around to see if anyone else would like another.

Sylrie watched as Isuzu grabbed the glasses, and then joined her in the toast, as well as the Sarge. He drank down the liquor and let out a silent 'whoooo' as it felt like he breathed fire. "That's good stuff Sarge" he then looked back to Isuzu, "I'd kill for some Dreamlily right now, those were some of our best times, and to see the famous floating towers of Sharn again..." Sylrie had never been to Sharn, but he'd read about it, seen pictures in a variety of books. It was obvious though that Isuzu was expanding on their background, he had to admire her dedication and work ethic, though he didn't mind the physical attention either.
Kora will take a glass, and down it with rest. She will take a second from the LT, when offered. "It's an honor to serve, Sir," she says as she clinks with the LT on the second shot.

Essence of dreamlily is an iridescent, Psionically active liquid. It draws on the mind of the user and tastes like his favorite beverage. Each use of the drug can potentially lead to an overdose, especially for those addicted to it. The Path of Inspiration forbids recreational use of dreamlily, but the Dream Merchants do a brisk trade with outlanders in the foreign quarters of Darjin and Dar Ulatesh. Although the Inspired claim to oppose the dreamlily trade, they have been remarkably ineffective at curbing its spread into Khorvaire. In truth, the Inspired are all too pleased to see foreigners fall prey to the addictive power of this drug. The effects of dreamlily (as with any drug) are treated as a poison that has an initial and a secondary saving throw. The save DCs and effects are given below. Dream lily is also highly addictive, the effect of which is treated as a disease. After each use, the drinker must succeed on a DC 14 Fortitude save or become addicted. If a user becomes addicted, he must either satisfy his desire for the drug or attempt the same saving throw each day. (The save DC rises to 25 for someone who remains addicted for two months.) A user can satisfy his desire for the drug for two days by taking one dose. If he does not continue taking the drug or if he fails an addiction saving throw, he loses 1d6 points of Dexterity, 1d6 points of Wisdom, and 1d2 points of Constitution. If a user succeeds on two consecutive addiction saving throws, he breaks the addiction. Lesser restoration and restoration heal ability damage in the short term; remove disease breaks the addiction; greater restoration or heal does both. Initial Effect: If a user fails an initial DC 12 Fortitude save, he feels completely at peace for 8 hours. During this time, the user can operate normally while at 0 to —4 hit points. At —5 hit points the user is disabled, and at —6 or lower he becomes unconscious. Also, he is immune to fear effects. Secondary Effect: If a user fails a secondary DC 12 Fortitude save, he takes 1d4 points of Wisdom damage. Side Effects: Users can take only a single action in each round while under the effects of dreamlily. Overdose: If the user fails a DC 10 Will save (which includes the penalty mentioned below), he imbibes too much and takes 2d4 points of damage. Special: A dreamlily addict takes a Disadvantage on Will saving throws. This effect lasts until he manages to break the addiction.
Cost: 1gp per dose

(I recognized John never got dressed.... give me a moment.)
John stops waiting around, and grabs some clothing from the supply crate, and walks away somewhere private. He eventually comes back with his club in his hand, his shield strapped onto his back. He’s wearing what (I think) seems to be a trench coat, with clothing underneath, held together by a belt. His mark on his shoulder looks as if he’d taken the time to cover up. So... what do you think?
What he’s supposed to look like (picture the sword as a club, and put a shield on his back):
(I wanted to have a cool outfit too, so I looked up something and found this.)
John joins in at the little toast. Aundair Dairs Dares!Yeah!
Isuzu downs her drink and lets out a gasp and shares something with Sylrie she whispers, "everyone needs to be somewhere, I am trying to help us prepare with a cover story as a possible contingency, it may not even be needed. I am fortunate in that I had many sisters while I was trained at the Unseen Sanctuary, each of my sisters were comprised of many races, from many places, with a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences, each with a story to tell. We were encouraged to share our stories as a means to illustrate more fully the uncertainty of life and the certainty of death! A sister from Sharn was addicted to Dreamlily when she came to us but the masters cured her of it with Greater Restoration but most who suffer such are not so fortunate."
Isuzu looks around and adds, "in any event, assuming a cover is not always as simple as a change in wardrobe. It is the little things that trip you up, even the coins one spends in a tavern can tell a tale to those who know what to look for but then what do I know." Isuzu shrugs...
Sylrie listened intently to Isuzu's story as she whispered it into his ear, "Yes, of course, I knew this was all a cover story. I was playing along. Are there only girls at the unseen sanctuary?"
Isuzu nods, "yes I understand you are aware of such, I do very much respect your intelligence and your capabilities. I was merely elaborating on why I feel having a cover as a contingency just in case could be helpful to both of us to work better together, for us to both be on the same page. My apologies for any confusion. But to answer your question, no, it is not comprised of only females. Both genders are trained at the unseen sanctuary however male and females, to avoid distractions, are kept apart and trained separately until the final few months then brought together for final training sessions... those of us who manage to survive the ordeal and graduate."
"I see" Sylrie said, he looked down as he processed what he was just told, but after a few moments of thought he looked back up, "So.." his eyebrow arched in curiosity, "...what is taught at the Sanctuary, is it religious in nature? Or a philosophy? I have to admit, I have very little knowledge of it"
Isuzu smiles at Sylrie, "do you not taste what is taught at the Unseen Sanctuary upon my lips when I kiss you? What is taught is neither and both of which you speak. Death encompasses all... it is what comes before and after... what you only perceive as life. Life in a way could be thought of as merely the boring middle part given conscious awareness but not understanding. The mysteries taught to the Disciples of the Keeper at the Unseen Sanctuary is intertwined with the very meaning of life itself. Death is a mystery beyond life, beyond even the realm of dreams. To understand the nature of what is taught at the Unseen Sanctuary would be akin to listening to a song that is yet to be sung. If you are that curious then accompany me to the Black Chapel and pass through the final door. Perhaps if you are sufficiently able to demonstrate your awareness and understanding of the meaning of life then you will be permitted access to the Unseen Sanctuary itself. Would that please you?"
Sylrie eyed the woman who sat on his lap as she talked of Death as if it were something rather than the absence of everything, "You make it so enticing." Sylrie couldn't help have his curiosity stoked, "So you don't fear Death, you welcome it?"
Unable to not overhear, given the small quarters, Kora interjects, from where she is packing a rucksack, "Nobody gets out alive, Sylrie. Why fear it? Isn't that right, Isuzu?"
