No remains, scorched earth. Either they took her body as a trophy, they hid it, they burnt it to ash, or she was somehow reanimated. The ashbound aren’t known for their tendency to reanimate corpses though. John says as he looks around.

Kora wastes no time drawing her longsword and stepping forward to meet the rats. As emotional as all of this has been, her eyes instantly go white and the ghostly form of Shali flickers about her, all spiky arms/tentacles, gnashing teeth and too many eyes.

Sylrie Caldamus

Sylrie sat atop his horse, he could feel anger welling inside him, they had taken her from Greywind and now had taken away their closure in some way or another. Even has Johnathan spoke Sylrie's hands grew tighter on the reigns, they gripped so tight that all the blood rushed away from his hands leaving them cold even though they were gloved. Her screams echoed through his mind as he watched the scene play out over and over. But wait...maybe she was only injured, maybe she had crawled to safety. 

Jumping down off his horse Sylrie rushed to where her body would have laid and began frantically looking for any tracks she might have made, or her horse for that matter, anything!

Perception Check: 24

Watching as Sylrie runs out to where Isuzu’s body lay, John shouts in surprise. Sylrie! You don’t know if anything’s lurking there! It could be another ambush, thinking we’ll look for her!

As you search the area with your magic, you can sense the magic that was there in the powerful fire spells. The last vestiges of the spells slowly dissipating. 

The winds blow lazily in the area you are searching at. The only thing you seem to find is scorched pieces of earth and grass, ash floating through the as specks through the last rays of the sun and some remiges ((OOG Flight feathers usually found on the wings of a bird.)) of the blood hawks that were here. Theses feathers seem untouched by the fires that were here. 

As you continue your search you see that there are no noticeable traces or trail leading in any direction. 

You walk to the place you would think Isuzu's body would be and find it empty except for the burnt dirt, which seems to be blown from a large draft of air. You notice four marks in the dirt, barely perceivable. A backward hallux ((OOG The largest of the bird's toes and usually called the hallux or the big toe.)) and three other toes facing forward. Two pairs, large bird feet. 

Two rats, sliced down in their prime! Kora's rage has fueled the flame inside of her, bringing her battle awareness to its peak form!

LT splays her hands outward as an Eldritch blast forms and fires from her hands, to the rat closing in on Perci.

Sylrie Caldamus

"Nothing!" he yells back, for the moment too caught up to really pay attention to Johnathan's warnings. Any other day he would have heeded his wise comrades warnings, but this was their friend, their part member, his partner. "There's no sign of her, just bird feet, large bird feet. Does that mean anything to you?"

Those Bloodhawks were bigger than usual, and we did just fight a druid. They might’ve changed shape. Johnothon looks at LT. Should we follow the tracks, to see if we can find Isuzu?

Once the tracks are pointed out to you, you will see that they are only in this area. The four footprints of two large birds. 

No CON save - as the rat leaps at Kash a shimmery blue curtain of energy surrounds him (shield) and the rat bounces harmlessly off him. (AC17 until the start of my next turn)

He'll then raise his right hand and a tiny mote of fire will fly towards the rats
