she sees a fan that when unfolded shows a sleeping cat, a multi-coloured stone disk, an empty glass vial that smells like perfume when opened, a rank insignia from a lost legionnaire, a fragment of a beautiful song written as musical notes on two pieces of parchment and an ancient arrow of elven design. "I'll have that small silver skill over there please" she takes out her purse and gets the appropriate amount of money out.
[OOC] balonypower, I assume you intended to say small silver skull (item 62)?
"No, no weapons and armor good sir. Just trinkets, knick-knacks, and other oddities," looking over to Asariel, "ma'am that silver skull is a rare find indeed. It's said to posses the unknown magical abilities. You can purchase it for 2 gold pieces."

"It's probably nothing, Kes. Just recalling all the eye tatoos that the chap who attacked Yagra had. And that thing hanging out front has a lot of eyes. Probably just a coincidence."
'Vassa walks into the shop, taking in the shelves and shelves of knick-knacks and oddities. A tattered piece of an old banner and an odd sparking metal device catch his eye, but he ignores them moving further into the store. Crinckling his nose at the smell of something off, he spies a grotesque necklace made of slim mummified fingers and is about to turn and leave the shop in disgust when a small colourful coffer near the floor grabs his attention.
Inside the box, catching and reflecting the shop's dim lantern light, are a small castle figurine made of cut glass and a tiny but beautiful handmade silver teardrop earing. Bending down, Vassa examines both items with some appreciation, figuring that the castle is likely part of some game set. With a sigh, the half-drow briefly reflects on the delight that these items would bring his friend Lemi, an ostentatious gambling addicted halfling usually found at the Red Guantlet.
Sadly, all too mindful of his empty pockets, the bard turns away to leave the store. Vassa will walk across the street into the Shattered Dragon, find an empty table and sit down to strum his lute quietly to himself as he looks around the common room.'
D&D is a game, but it's not just a game. It's the ultimate storyboard, a campfire to share with friends, an imaginary call to imaginary arms and a ship to sail to horizons yet undreamt of...
As Xoblob is finishing with Asariel, Kestrell, still standing by the door, not wanting to venture too far inside says: "Thank you Xoblob, you have quite a collection of interesting items. Perhaps I'll come back when I've got more time. Do you have any recommendations for an armorer or equipment store?"

"...Debts must always be paid, sometimes in more than blood and gold. But this is Ordo Ursa," Ren places his hand on Erakas's chest, right where the Dragonborn's heart is. "Right here. And it always has been and always will be. Don't ever forget that. Because I won't."

"This orb filled with smoke, what magic is this?" Lockbox points towards the smoke-filled object as he places a brass ring down on the counter.

"I'd recommend the Fishscale Smithy up on Gut Alley. It's the closest and his gear is good."
"This orb filled with smoke, what magic is this?" Lockbox points towards the smoke-filled object as he places a brass ring down on the counter.
"Oh, that orb is said to hold some of the essence of the famous gnomish glass-maker Seebo Scheppen. Really interesting to watch as the smoke does random things."

As you walk back down the street to The Skewered Dragon you take a hard look at it and decide the place looks like a ruin. Both of its front-facing windows are smashed, and a ship’s anchor is lodged in the roof. As you approach the door, through the windows you can see a group of haggard patrons drinking from huge tankards. When you walk in you notice no one looks up but rather they all try to watch you from the corner of their eyes. You find an empty table off to the side where you can see the door. The bar has a decent crowd, mostly dockworkers, for this early in the day. As you look around nothing seems out of the ordinary.

[OOC] Vassa plans to just lie low and observe as much as he can while he waits for his companions to arrive. perception check 20 and/or investigation check 19 and/or stealth check 20 if required.

“I would like this ring and this orb. Now. I must leave, hurry please.” Lockbox really wants out of this shop and on to the job. It wasn’t as interesting as he thought, but these trinkets could come in handy.

You young people, always in a hurry. Sure, sure. Let's call it 9 silvers for the two items.

Kestrell waits outside Xoblobs for Lockbox and Asariel. He scans the street looking at the buildings and the passers by mostly to be sure no one is trying to pick pocket him. He's heard stories about the big cities.

As you stand near the shop you survey the few folks walking up and down the street. They all appear to be staring at you with the same look as you're giving them. You wonder if it's because they fear you'll try to swindle them or if it's just them picking up on your distrust. Nothing and no one stands out as a threat.
Lockbox pays the fees, places the items in his bag and walks outside. He didn’t know what he was expecting, but it wasn’t that. Nice items though, maybe they’ll come in handy one day.
“Kestrell, I got a ring and a smoke ball.”
