Silver sighs "Can we try to negotiate first next time Elon." he says drawing his blades and attacking the one in front of him.

OOC: Boting Phaedra - Phae, let me know if you'd rather have done something different.

OOC: Silver, I wasn't sure which creature you considered to be "in front" of you so I just sent you toward the one Elon had shot. Let me know if you need me to change that.

Elon, seeing the creature before him, draws his crossbow and lets a bolt fly, gut shoting the creature which then lets out a horrid yell/growl noise.

As Selinae starts walking toward the creature to her left she realizes that it smells quite rank, to the point she has trouble taking a breath to speak. She forces herself to continue walking up to the creature and says in a friendly voice as she held her hand out to shake, "How are y..." before it growls and tries to bite her hand. Reacting quickly, Selinae punches the creature square in the nose.

Mere moments after she hits the creature an arrow from Kestrell's bow streaks past her and embeds itself in the creature's chest. The creature looks stunned by the interruption of it's attacks for a second, then it finishes its combo by attempting to claw Selinae. The first swipe catches Selinae's arm but she's able to side step the second swipe of the creature's claws.

Silver sighs, saying "Can we try to negotiate first next time Elon." before coming around the column and charging the same target as Elon. Two quick swipes of his blades and the creature laid dead as his feet. Silver moved in so quickly that he didn't even notice the horrible stench until after he had slain the creature.

As these attacks are taking place, other creatures are approaching from the shadows, their smell reaching you before the sight of them in some cases.

One creature sees Silver make his kill and heads straight for him attacking with a bite and two claw attacks. Silver is able to dodge the first two attacks but the final claw swipe catches him in the side.

The creatures coming from the east side of the room gang up on Elon and start swinging. Elon is able to dodge many of the attacks but not all of them, taking wounds to one leg and his side which slows him too much for when the third creature attacks, allowing it to get multiple hits on him including a devastating blow to the head.

Phaedra, having walked through the door last, arrives just in time to see the group of three creatures jump Elon and immediately goes to his aid casting cure wounds on him.

Gimme your round 2 actions

If you're next to a living creature at the start of the round, include a Constitution saving throw. DC 12 or you're poisoned due to horrific smell of these creatures. If you pass the save, you're immune for an hour.

Selinae slid her blades into her hands and went to town on her attacker, " Kestrell, give Elon a hand. I'm fine."

Kestrell replies to Elon as he moves: "Apples could work, I like where your heads at!  But these things stink too bad to talk about food!"

Movement: 5 feet down, 10 feet left to get a shot past Phaedra at the middle creature in front of Elon.

Kestrell launches an arrow at the one in front of Elon, using Sharpshooter feat: 14, damage: 20. 
Horde Breaker attack, with Sharpshooter at the creature to the left of the first target: 12, damage: 19.

If I have to start next to one of these things, do I get advantage on my Constitution Save due to the torch tar under my nose blocking some of the stench?

Holding her holy symbol up high, Phaedra calls on the goddess to smite her smelly foe infront of her.

Healing to Elon from last round 4

This round use Guiding Bolt 

Attack: 23 Damage: 15   Radiant damage.

Elon is pummeled by the creature and just as he thinks he is going down, he feels the healing energy from Phaedra. He looks to the attacking creatures as sparks begin to dance around him like an aura. Chanting some words, he slams his hands together.

"You've been Thunderstruck"

Con save 10. Success takes half damage. Failure takes full damage and is moved 10 feet.

"Holy crap, what is that smell?" he manages to yell between gagging motions.

Silver just looks around as the one moves in front of him. He just smiles as he see Selina is also engaged with another one. His next move is to weave past the one in front of him around the pillar and behind the one Selina attacks. He then slashes at it keeping the pillar to his side.

Movement 20 ft to be behind the one Selinae is attack to make a flank it.

Round 2

DM Rolls:

Silver just looks around as the one moves in front of him. He just smiles as he see Selina is also engaged with another one. Silver weaves past the creature in front of him around the pillar and behind the one in front of Selina and gets there just in time to see it falling to the ground, dead.

Selinae slid her blades into her hands and went to town on her attacker, "Kestrell, give Elon a hand. I'm fine." By the time she finished the sentence, the monster in front of her was dead.

Elon looks to the attacking creatures as sparks begin to dance around him like an aura.

Kestrell replies to Elon as he moves: "Apples could work, I like where your heads at!  But these things stink too bad to talk about food!" Moving as he spoke, Kestrell lines up a shot on the creature in front of Elon and drops the creature. A moment later another arrow hits the creature in front of Phae, seriously wounding it but not killing it.

Holding her holy symbol up high, Phaedra calls on the goddess to smite her smelly foe in front of her. A flash of light streaks toward the creature and it falls prone, smitten.

Chanting some words, Elon slams his hands together. "You've been Thunderstruck!" A wave of force explodes from Elon and slams into the two creatures near him as well as Phaedra and Kestrell with all four beings taking 6hp damage.

Enraged by the damage, the two creatures near Elon charge him and between bites and claws Elon is quickly brought down.

The creature Silver ran from follows him and attacks from the rear but Silver's armor is able to withstand the attacks.

OOC: Kestrell - advantage is a bit much. I'll lower the DC 2 points for you, though.

End of Round 2. Four enemies killed. Elon is unconscious.

Start round 3

"Alright, alright, we can have apple kabobs, get control of your spells!"

Kestrell Con Save against the Thunderwave: 7.

Kestrell lets the creature in front Elon have an arrow (no sharpshooter): 15, damage: 6.  He follows it up with a Horde breaker attack on the creature just to the left of the first one (no sharpshooter): 12, damage: 7.

After loosing the two arrows, Kestrell steps 5 feet left and stops next to Serinade.

Selinae dropped her blades and snapped off a shot with her bow at the creature in front of Elon as well.

Bow Attack: 18 Damage: 5

Silver hearing the rake against his armor moves to put the creature between him and Selinae. As he watches her drop her blades for her bow he grits his teeth as he brings down his blades at the creatures "Focus on the ones close to us. They have three versus two..." he quickly glances to see Elon down "They have two versus two. We need to deal with this one first."

OOC: If needed will use a bonus action to cunning action a disengage to make it work

Attack 1: 15 Damage: 5

Attack 2: 14 Damage: 9

Phaedra yells as she watches Elon go down.

If Kestrell does not kill both critters infront of Elon, Phaedra moves forwards and Shocking Grasp one. Attack: 13 Damage: 3

If they are both dead Phaedra heals Elon at second level.
