Silver just looks at the three as they converse "It could get us in trouble if its a private property though. Breaking and entering, plus we have no idea what exactly is up there. I say mark it and inform your church but we should focus on finding our lost friend."

"So then, does that mean we have to go deeper into the sewer?"

"Maybe we should remove one brick and look through and see what there is to be seen?"

"We're not breaking any laws here.  We've got permission from the Watch to investigate these foul undertakings."

Silver just looked at Kestrell “We don’t have permission to even be in the sewers during this investigation. Let alone just breaking in someone’s bricked up door.”

As far as you can tell it's normal bricked up doorway.

Elon shrugs his shoulders and joins the others.

"Which way people?" 

Selinae nodded at Elons words, "  Xanathars folks have the guy we're after right? Or did I miss something?"

You all follow Kestrell into the sewer. As you wade around the corners eventually Kestrell stops and examines the spots on the walls that he noticed earlier and realizes that there are secret doors set into the north and south wall here. The secret doors are set high enough that opening them doesn’t cause sewage to flow into adjoining areas. Additionally, now that you're further in with your torches you can see that there appears to be another doorway further down on the right.

 So we went in the first two doors, right?  One had the Druegar, and the second had the stinky things.  That leaves the doorway further down on the right.

If so, Kestrell goes and listens at the door.  Perception: 10.  If he hears nothing, he'll try the handle and see if it is locked.

Silver just shakes his head at Selinae "No they don't. He got away from them." he says moving behind Kestrell in case his skills were needed.

You find a door made of rusted iron is set into the wall above a dry, 1-foot-wide stone ledge. You notice the door's lock has rusted away. When you listen at the door you do not hear anything at first but as you strain your breathing you do get something... like an echo from down a hall.

"It sounds like a long empty hall, with maybe something walking in it.  Let's go in, everyone form up!"

Kestrell waits for everyone to get behind him then kicks the door.  Athletics: 8.

"Oh!  That kind of hurt my ankle.  Anyone else want to try?"

Elon chuckles and waits for someone else to try the door.

Selinae tossles Kestrells hair affectionately then boots the door.
