Steinarr, you come across a small ravine; a fifteen foot drop that you must jump over in order to continue the chase. Make a Acrobatics or Athletics check (your choice) to try to cross and keep up.
(Soron) After seeing Steinarr and Demetrio chasing the goblin after it escaped i return to where X and Kylara are and say to them :
Steinarr and Demetrio are chasing that last goblin some of us should stay here and watch the cart ... Kylara , they might run into trouble , i think you should go after them in case they need healing ; i know that i came from that direction but i'm not a healer and i'm out of 'spell juice' , i'll quickly send Odinn 100 ft over in that direction to see if they are fine or if i can still see them , X if you would stay here i would much appreciate it ... that's my suggestion , guys i'm not your boss , if you do not want to listen to me i'm fine with it , you can be sure that if you both leave you'll find me here with the cart, that is if you come back...
If they are not back in four hours i'll go after them too.
Soron sits on the ground near the cart, pulls the arrow out of his leg (he's obviously in pain) snaps his fingers, Odinn appears above him and flies towards where Demetrio and Steinarr are headed ; (currently looking through Odinn's eyes)
Kylara says to X Thank you for staying with me, let's search these bodies and catch back up with the others. There may be some clues on the bodies, or some valuable possessions.

Steinarr clears the ravine, and those of you chasing are able to see where he stepped and make the jump okay.
The goblin continues to be in the lead, by about ten feet, and Steinarr is still leading the chasing group. You continue for another hundred feet or so.
12
Steinarr, make another d20 roll.
Note - the goblin started on a trail, but the trail veered off to the northwest, and the goblin kept going north, probably thinking it has a better chance of losing you off the trail. You're now passing through various patches of grassland and small woodland areas.
That is why I did not give chase. No need to exert myself when we already have two fools on the chase for a weakling. You are right......You are NOT my boss.....fool. I will stand guard as that is what I already had planned. Know that this is not me following your lead.
The chase continues, with the goblin still ten feet in the lead, Steinarr following and Demetrio only a few feet behind.
The goblin attempts to make an extra dash, picking up the pace even further. Goblin's CON save: 14
It manage doesn't manage it, and stays within ten feet of you. It also looks visibly exhausted. (It has taken one point of exhaustion).

The goblin blunders into what looks like an insect's nest; you hear the buzzing as insects chase and surround it:
Attack: 20 Damage: 13
The goblin stumbles at the unexpected ferocity of the attack, and falls down. The angry buzzing is intense, and both Steinarr and Demetrio come to an abrupt halt, staying well clear and backing away somewhat. The goblin thrashes; you're not exactly sure what's happening - it cries out, but the cry soon becomes a choking sound, and then silence. The swarm dissipates, and a goblin corpse remains on the ground.

That's the end of both combat and the chase. Demetrio and Steinarr are several hundred feet off the north with the corpse of one goblin, which is now safe to retrieve or inspect. The others are back on the road. Soron, you witnessed the last stages of the chase, and the goblin's demise, through your familiar.
Kylara, you search the bodies of the three goblins at the road before burying them. You find a total of 7 silver pieces and 19 copper pieces on them. They don't have anything else of value; even their scimitars are old and battered, and no smith would pay more than a few coppers for the metal, if that.
ha ha ha , kylara did warn it not run did she not. I think it’s best we don’t go near the body. We don’t know what just happened but it’s obviously dead and can’t tell us anything? And I for one don’t want to be the next victim of whatever killed that foul creature.
Orcs being killed near Neverwinter is a daily occurance. The Uthgardt tribes to the north are in a near state of constant war with the orc tribes. My brother and I are some of the results of this constant raiding, it is why we were left at the orphanage in Neverwinter. If I hear of anything specific that is out of the norm I will let youknow
Steinarr snaps off the arrow sticking out of his armour, grunting as he does so, and continues to walk back along the path

... Soron was already moving towards the cart and he finished talking after he pulled the arrow out of his leg and as he was pulling the arrow he summoned Odinn , so by the time Kylara and X start talking he was already deaf and blind. Sorry i should've made that more clear)
Oh i see you chose to stay guard with me , i hope i didn't miss anything important while i was looking for Demetrio and Steinarr, i do not know if i mentioned it before but just so you know , when i am looking through Odinn's eyes i lose my hearing and my sight because i'm hearing and seeing whatever he is, so if i looked like i was ignoring you, i am extremely sorry.

It has been my friend through the years, and even through all the brutal times of being poisoned, broken, and almost frozen, I have a fond sense for it.She looks back and addresses everyone informally. It can be cruel to all of us so be warned.

Kylara asks SolonYou mean you didn't hear X just ask me how little Goliaths are made?(She makes a joke to X and Soron at the same time as they had not been talking to see their reactions.)
Actually, I think i've read a book on that subject a few months ago, i think it was a few months ,i mean you are an elf ,you probably have the same problem with time that i do, am i correct?

The five of you gather again at the road, where the cart and the dead horses have not moved. It's an indication of how well trained they are that the oxen did not react to the combat, and seemed just to stay where they were. The three goblins left by the road have been searched and buried. It's now late afternoon. You notice as you stand around that some of the party are rather badly wounded and might benefit from a rest.
Steinarr, the goblin manages to dodge your blow and pull into a lead of a few feet.
In the chasing pack, the Steinarr is in the lead, and Demetrio (and possibly others) are following.
Steinarr, as you are the leader, please roll a straight d20.

Steinarr starts to grunt at the exertion of pursuing the Goblin Give it up little goblin! There is no escape!!

Ha! Me escape very well. Thank you orc man.

Well that was grim, come Demetrio lets return to the others, maybe we can find a trail back to their camp from the horses.
Steinarr turns away from the corpse and starts to make his way back to the main track and the cart.
Demetrio heads back to the cart with steinarr.
on the way back before we reach the party he ask steinarr
so your a half orc, so by chance you may have heard about any orcs being murdered near neverwinter area?
