"I do not know about us -- any of us -- knowing about the stone's 'forget-me' trait before hand, let alone necessarily being in a position at the time to write anything down before 'losing' it. But either way, she seemed to be on the up-and-up to me." Mairi admits, though without much conviction. In fact, the more time passed, the more uncertainty bled into her expression. Until eventually she shook her head, and then stood up straighter. "It doesn't matter...Sort of?"
She frowned and shook her head to the sides again. "Point is, unless you're willing now to follow-up on that lead, to the nine with our injuries, -that- would be the only reason for someone to pretend to be so powerful a figure and come to us; the hope of learning what we knew. Which she -- they know now. So, if we're not going, at worst it means we have to hope whatever we find at the graveyard left a trail to follow-up on, and at best, you're just being paranoid."

"I guess we can sleep on it. Get some rest, gear up at the armory, and then head over to the graveyard," Briga suggests. "I don't know if things will make more sense tomorrow, but I know we'll feel less terrible and probably be in better shape to deal with them. I could head over to the armory now, and if anyone wants to tag along we could go together. Anyone too tired could just send me with a 'wish list' of stuff to carry back."
Mairi nods, and sat down again to pen a short list in her pocket journal. "Just so we're clear, Tyrus. I do not mean to sound disparaging, as you've raised a good concern considering the situation. Just going forward we'll have to be mindful of what we say around others given the circumstances." She paused, giving him an apologetic look, and then returned to writing. "As much as we can be, in any case, given the forces at play." With that said, she tears out the page and hands it over to Brigga.

Briga takes the list, nodding, and adds, “If they have a silvered club I’ll get that. How about you both, Sara, Tyrus? Want to tag along and browse for yourself or send me with a list of things to bring back? I should probably take a big sack or something. I’m not carrying much, just wearin’ my cheap peasant dress and my weapons, so the weight shouldn’t be an issue, lugging the stuff back, if you just want to wait here. I’m hoping this will be a lot less exciting than our last outing.”
After a pause, Briga adds, “Tyrus, Wilberforce can carry more than I can. Think he would cooperate with me if I took him? Or would you rather I didn’t? I could have a talk with him, make sure he’s ok with it, if you like.”
"Happy for you to be taking Wilberforce, if you be needing him," says Tyrus, looking around the ransacked room again. "He be at his usual stables and should be recognising you well enough to work with... I be staying here though to try to set things right again, but if you see a silvered rapier like Mairi's then I be appreciative if you pick one up for me."
Then, after realising that Lady Laerel and Lord Neverember are still in the room, he adds, "But do you be going right now? We be having important guests in the house."
Turning to the two nobles, he asks, "Would you be liking something more to drink? On the house, if I can be finding it and you don't mind pot luck."

"I'm not nearly as good of a host as you, Tyrus, and I'm still pretty out of it from that battle with the construct," Briga says apologetically. "I guess Lady Laerel might need to get word over to the armory before I just show up with a list. I'll wait until they give me the OK to go pick up our stuff. Lady Laerel, Renear, definitely have a drink and relax a bit, if you like. These are crazy times."
Tyrus likely has noticed Briga literally talking to Wilberforce on occasion. Whether he takes this as the girl's eccentricity, or surmises that it is a genuine gift of her tribal tradition as a Totem barbarian (the latter is correct), is up to him. Given this context, her follow up statement of, "I'll ask Wilberforce later if he's even in the mood to go today" probably has a bit of a different meaning to him than to the others.
"Lady Laeral, do I need a letter or something to get access to the armory, to pick up the stuff?" Briga asks, not sure what to do to show proper decorum, so she awkwardly bows, does a curtsy, then shrugs, making an awkward expression. "Also, uh, where is that, exactly, that I would go?"
OOC: Once Laeral clarifies whether we have immediate access to the armory, or need to wait for some red tape bureaucratic processing for the clearance, also depending on the distance from the tavern to the armory, Briga may go that afternoon, or she may go there the following morning, depending on the current time of day and the expected travel time to and from the armory. If the DM prefers to abstract that we can do a long rest and adjust equipment accordingly. We are likely going to pursue the lead from the Nimblewright's note after obtaining the gear, and having a long rest.
OOC: I think we are waiting on clarification on the armory access and location before moving to a long rest, followed either by a trip to the armory next morning, or, if that's completed during today's adventuring day, we will follow up on the note the next morning.

OOC: If that is the case shall we assume Briga was able to gather everything on everyone’s “shopping list” using the mule for added carrying capacity if needed, we have the new equipment, we have taken a full test and skip to the next morning?
Assuming the gear was gathered from the armory and a long rest executed without incident (let us know if either is not the case), the next morning Briga rouses and greets the others. "I guess it's time to check out the City of the Dead, and the Cassaltanter crypt, the location that construct swashbuckler guy had on the map in his hat? I'm ready to go."
Mairi practically flew through the streets to get to the others early, and held less tightly to her coins when it came to their expenditure for using the Dray system. When she does finally arrive, her hair and clothing is something of a small mess, but her expression is filled with nothing but unbridled excitement. Which might be why she seemed cared little for decorum and just excitedly began putting things into place on the spot. "Sounds about right to me!"Mairi practically exclaimed as she finished tightening into place her knew breastplate. "There. I'm ready to go now."

Briga also readies herself to go, feeling mildly more secure in the newfound armor and silvered arms, but still a bit uneasy about their odds based on yesterday's encounters. "Lets just try out best out there today, guys. Things get too crazy, don't be afraid to fall back. No sense getting ourselves killed chasing some fortune that's already got two of the cities gangs losing their minds over it."

Realising that he can't do much to fix the damage to the tavern by himself, Tyrus has also prepared for visiting the graveyard.
[OOC: All the equipment he isn't carrying is now in his 'Other Possessions' tab.]
When they leave, he will hang a makeshift sign on the entrance to the tavern that reads "Closed for Repares".
