Thankfully, by checking on the meteor impact, you saved a paladin and a gorf from, quite possibly, a very terrible death. The journey back to base is uneventful, other than you all level up to level 9.
The Acheronians at Home Base are nothing short of elated to see you park the infernal vehicle in a rough manner and carry the broken body of Misha to the Medical ward. Her armor is badly dented and broken apart in many places, making it's retraction nearly impossible - and it takes many a men to crack open it's plate to remove it from her body. Thanks to the initial healing she received, her appearance is filthy and stinky, but her wounds don't seem as bad.
Slow, she grimaces and begins to stir, trying to wake.
Jill stands patiently by Misha's bedside, waiting for her to wake up. She knows that none of her Acheronian comrades would let anything happen to her here, but she still stands by, wanting to be the first one there when she regains consciousness.

Misha slowly comes to and opens her eyes. She looks around weakly, blinking, clearing the spots, and puts a head to her head. Everything hurts, and aches, and she moans weakly as she tries to raise her head. She stops, and her eyes brighten at the sight of Jeel and she smiles weakly. She tries to laugh, but instead has a coughing fit. She reaches and holds your hand, pulling you in.
"We deedn't find anything in zeh bag."she jokes, obviously kidding.
Jill laughs at Misha's joke, her eyes filling with tears as she went in to gently hug Misha. "We were scared that you had died! Everyone was so sad: Nik Nak, Nok Nok, Corrin, especially Corrin. I have to tell them that you are awake now!" Jill comes running out of Misha's room until she finds the rest of the party. "Misha woke up! Come say hi to her!"

She laughed softly and hugged Jill, happily. "We hed a little of a rough landing, but Misha ees ok, Jeel."she kissed her forehead, trying not to cry.
Out of her armor and her leg no longer broken, she managed to sit up and slowly catch her breath and let her genetic programming assess and repair any internal damage. She watched Jill run outside and tried to get up, but she was still sore and tired. She took a moment and felt her spine by reaching around - the only thing left was the spine graft that her armor would come out of to wrap around her. Now, it was a broken piece of Acheronian technology - like a long flexible black ruler that went from her neck down to her tailbone. She would have to return home and get a new one.
But first, she was anxious to see her friends again.
Corrin was too shocked to say anything when she saw Misha and Meep again while Amelia kept a leveled head and got them the **** out of danger. When they were finally allowed to see her, the tiefling was the first to rush in and jump on the bed to hug her. The older woman walked in second after her and stood by her bedside while Corrin weeped her heart out. "I-I missed y-you so much!" Corrin sobbed. "I-it just wasn't the same w-with o-o-out you!"
Amelia rubbed Corrin's back to help sooth her, giving an apologetic smile to Misha. "I'm glad to see you and Meep are doing okay."

Misha gives a hearty wave to Nik and Nok and was about to say hello to Amelia when Corrin lept into Misha's arms. She hugged her tight, and praised Bane silently that everyone so far was still alive since the Bone Brambles. Misha held Corrin close and didn't let go, she rocked her gently back and forth and kissed her forehead and squeezed her tight. She took a moment to look up at Nik, Nok and Amelia and give them each a loving smile and a wink.
"Leetle one,"she told Corrin, "Misha missed you, too. Very much. No amount of honor or glory Misha could geef would mek you understand what Preencess means to Misha."
Misha eventually stood and embraced in camaraderie with the other Acheronians. After a while, she stepped through the portal back to Banehold to pay Kali a visit and update her on what was going on. After a loving update, Misha underwent emergency surgery to get outfitted with a new and improved retractable spine armor suit. She was unconscious through the procedure, the old graft was removed, and a new one put in. When she awoke, she tested it, and Praise Bane, it wrapped around her body like a second skin, but this time, had extra armor around her joints. It was amazingly flexible, and had colors of Red and Blue this time. She checked in with the Legion Commander, and promptly returned to back to Avernus.
It was at the point, she went to check in on Meep and retrieve her hammer and shield.
"Leetle gorf, I bet you weel be a beet more careful the next time you open strange beckpeck, ya?"She laughed, patting you on the hand with an armored glove. "However, nothing like keelling enormous creature from the eenside out, eh?"
Meep gives Misha a nervous chuckled, mainly healed after their excursion. "Personally. Next time I'm just going to burn it. Whatever is worth value shouldnt burn." She gives Misha a laugh and an embarrassed smile. "Thanks for getting me out of there though. I wouldnt have been able to do it on my own."

"Anytime gorf." Misha pats you. "We steek together, better or worse. Come. Now thet we are done weeth that horror, we can now take care of serious beesness."
Persephone is busy playing with Lulu, impatiently waiting for the group to rest up and recover. "Ya'll ready to continue? Lulu here seems to think that her memory might come back soon!"
Lulu, finally thrilled after what seemed like weeks of inactivity, is rearing and ready to go. Her memories lead you to a place she believes the Sword of Zariel is being held, called The Bleeding Citadel. A great, disgusting scab the size of a large hill rises up from a stinking swamp of blood. The domed top of an alabaster temple pokes through the scab. Many black iron chains of Avernus converge on the building, attaching within the grotesque mound.
Jill looks up at the alabaster temple, noting how it doesn't look like it belongs down here. "That looks like as good a place as any to store divine sword, mes amis. Look at what remains of that building, it does not look like something the devils would make, no?"

This entrance to the scab is a tube-shaped tunnel with a 20-foot radius. A circular gaping wound near the top of the scab forms a tunnel that descends into darkness. The tunnel tapers as it descends toward area S2.
"We must be very careful here."Misha said, locking into her new armor and grabbing her shield and hammer. "Look at how the very land created a festering wound around this temple. Be on guard."
Your footsteps squish on the soft puss like ground as you traverse the tunnel deeper into the Citadel. Whoever carved these organic caverns and tunnels left exposed a 20-foot-tall, 5-foot-wide window: The scab on one side of this narrow passage is stripped away, partially revealing one of the citadel’s stained glass windows. The opaque blue and yellow panes depict the contemplative face of a hauntingly beautiful angel. Even though inanimate, the image on the stained glass window makes you pause and fills you with reverence and awe, depicting a scene from long, long ago during a time where this angel was pure, and good, and powerful - a time when this person opposed the forces of Hell with terrible celestial might. It seems so real to you, you can almost feel the emotion radiating of the being in the window.
