"Terribly sorry about that, m'lady is eccentric sometimes," Allynna apologizes smoothly to the elf, moving forward to help Jill guide Persephone back to the others. "But there's no need for weapons. You have your payment, let's all just calm down and part ways."

Misha nodded vaguely to Jeel. "Yes," she said, walking away with the others from the deal after about 5 minutes. "I am ok. Had very strange sensation for a moment. Ever seence promotion, can sometimes feel..disturbances..like visions, or feelings that may or may not come to pass. This one was so strong, made me weak without even thinking. I am ok. I'm sure eet was nothing." she said, unconvincingly.

Misha looked at the coin. It was heavy, and felt hot in her hand. She looked at it with disdain. So, this was a soul coin. She knew enough that it was some sort of infernal currency - they were even used to activate powerful abilities on the Infernal War Machines that ravaged the battlefield of Hell and Acheron.

"Well enough of that. Let's go back to the Harpers and get our gold." Misha's unconvincing response, is enough for Jill, who is distracted by the prospect of having 100 gold.

Persephone: “I know this soul coin is worth a lot of money....but....do you think we should keep it instead?  It might come in handy in the future?!”

"We made a deal." Misha says lawful evilly. "We weel not break eet."

 Meep shrugs. "We might as well take it where it needs to go. Shall we discuss more later? In case there are prying ears around?" She glances arch d then for any signs of the traders still being nearby.

Dust gets in her eyes and she sighs, rubbing them slightly for a moment. 

Well, that didn't go too badly.

...'Lynna, that was very nearly a flop.

I had a backup plan. Persephone just handled it first.

Uh huh.

I did! I was going to pin it on with the spectral hand. Anyway, it's done now. We've got the soul coin.

You should stay away from that, 'Lynna. It's dangerous.

So am I. Allynna looks at the soul coin curiously. "I agree, we should take it where it needs to go."

"A hundred gold is a lot of money. I do not know what I will do with all of it. Do you know what you will do with your gold, Misha?"

"Jeel, come on." Misha smiled and scoffed. "Right now you are being cridlousious. Misha hef no need for money. All Misha needs is honor and glory from Lord General, the rest ees reward. My share weel be geeven to group to share. I hef no use for eet."

The Harper agent is indeed waiting behind the stable by the Tea Kettle. As he looks at the coin, his face sours. "As I suspected. The coin is a fake. Here. You did you job, and planted the pin, so here is your reward. We have seen an increased interest in all things infernal related to devils in the past months. Always be wary, and wherever you are headed, may the light shine on you all."

I can promise you that as we battle the forces of Hell, gold will matter and be tracked - in addition to two new currencies: Honor, and Glory. Items, upgrades, services, and many other things will require currency that will be tracked, so make sure you note it on your character sheet.)

DESCENT INTO AVERNUS : COMING SEPT 17th!

In the battle of good vs. evil there are two sides. The Armies of Avernus, and the Legions of the Sword Coast and Acheron. As the battle rages, a base will be created on Avernus with the following locations and will provide the opportunity to either earn or spend currencies which are: Gold, Honor, and Glory.

BaneArch (Earn Honor) - A massive Acheronian portal to their homeworld, characters can travel to the Plane of War to assist in the war effort, performing a specific day long task. Upon completion, a character will receive Honor and Gold. Each character that travels to Acheron does not participate in the campaign for one day. This is one way to earn currency if a player has a busy day and is unable to participate in the campaign for that day. Receive rewards while you are out!
Acheronian Merchant (Spend Honor) - Merchants from Acheron have set up shop selling Banite armor, weapons, items, and boosts to help support Sword Coast and Acheronian troops. They will take Honor as payment.
War Command (Earn Glory) - Visit War Command to train with Sword Coast and Acheronian warriors to improve your battle skills, and learn about the enemy to receive Glory and Gold. Each character that trains at Command does not participate in the campaign for one day. This is one way to earn currency if a player has a busy day and is unable to participate in the campaign for that day. Receive rewards while you are out!
War Tower (Spend Glory) - Buy armor, weapons, items, and boosts with Glory.
Tavern (Earn Honor, Gold, or Gold) - Relax and relive past adventures. Awards Glory, Honor, or gold. Visit the tavern anytime there is ingame downtime.   
Toril Merchant (Spend Gold) - Merchants from the Sword Coast have set up shop selling Faerunian armor, weapons, items, and boosts to help support Sword Coast and Acheronian troops. They will take Gold as payment.
World Map (Earn Gold) - Avernus is swarming with enemies. Battle for the survival of the Sword Coast and Acheron in small chunks, defeating devils to earn Gold and items.
Strongholds (Earn Gold) - Avernus has Devil Commanders leading the troops. Once smaller chunks are liberated, you can take the fight to the mini bosses! Earn Gold and items.

Jill smiles back at Misha. "I wish I could be like you in that regard, mon ami." Jill walks back into the tavern and goes to give the rest of her comrades their rewards. "Enjoy, mes amis." She pulls up a seat next to Corrin. "So, how was your night?"

Although she felt as if she didn’t deserve the coin, Amelia pocketed it anyways and slid Corrin her portion. The tiefling looked up at her mother in confusion. “Shouldn’t you get my money, mom?”

The blonde shook her head. “You’re old enough to look over your own money, right?”

The rogue hesitated a moment, but nodded in the end before happily putting away her gold in her pink coin purse. When Jill asked the question, Corrin grinned up at her. “It got a lot better now! How was the mission? You guys didn’t get hurt right?”

"It went well. We just sold a bunch of fake gems to some people for a coin that turned out to be fake and then planted a pin on them so that they could be tracked down. There wasn't any fighting, so you didn't really miss much." Jill shrugs. "But now we've got all this gold, so I'm not complaining."

Misha sits down and pulls out her share of the gold and leaves it in the center of the table, gladly.

See, the coin wasn't even real!

And if it had been, you could've gotten seriously hurt, or revealed my influence on you for all to see.

It was fiiiine. Allynna smiles. "It was definitely interesting, even if the whole thing was probably a disappointment for everyone but our employer," she agrees.

“Shame it ended up being a fake, but, that’s how it normally goes.” Amelia says idly, watching Corrin try to sneak some extra gold from Misha’s pile. “Cory...”

Corrin freezes as she is caught in the act, looking over to her mom with a ‘I didn’t do it’ face only earning her a mom look. The tiefling sighs then starts dividing the coin between the group as evenly as she could.

Jill says nothing, only smiling and ruffling Corrin's hair a bit as she takes her part.

Meep sits calmly at (and on) the table, her cut of their payment stuffed into her pack after some counting. She then retrieves a black covered notebook from her bag and writes within it quietly, writing her total money in the top corner of the page and what looks like a letter on the actual lines. Loose papers seem to stick out of the notebook in some areas but are otherwise neatly organized. 

"Un instant, s'il vous plait.*" Jill pulls a letter out of her pouch and quickly exits the inn. She heads towards a post office, but a special one, one that employs birds to send mail across long distances. 

"Bonjour, I am called Jill Moon. I heard that this post office can send mail faster than most. I will need one of your birds to send a letter to Waterdeep."

"Waterdeep? You came to the right place, kid. A rider on horseback could take 45 days to get there, maybe even two months. One of my birds will get your message there in a day, maybe two. They still need to rest after all."

"Yes, yes. That is fine."

"Who do you need it sent to?"

"Natasha Selwyn, at the Selwyn Home for Orphaned Children."

"Ok. That'll be two gold, kid."

"Here you go, the address is on the letter. And stop calling me kid.

And once her business is done, Jill runs back to the inn and get back in her seat, like nothing happened at all.

Allynna takes her share of the money and slips it into a black velvet pouch, the coins making no sound within the specially modified soundproof bag. She smiles as she comes to a realization. You know, I just realized...this is money Tarquin doesn't know about. Which means he can't control what I do with it.

Going to get a new dress, are we?

I was actually thinking a dagger. Or possibly a garrote wire, my current one's a little frayed from that merchant job I did for the Knights of the Shield.
