Jill reaches into the bag of toys that she got from the gnome and pulls out a small, colorful cylinder that appears to be made of bamboo and has two holes on either side. "Have you ever seen one of these before, Madame Hiriart?"

Amelia snorts at the question. "I wasn't born yesterday, sparky." She grins, taking the finger trap and looking it over, then giving a passing glance to Corrin. "Hey, Cory, lookit this."

Corrin's eyes grow wide with interest at the new toy, taking it from her mother's hands. Automatically, the girl sticks her fingers into the two holes then tries to pull out... to no avail. Her blonde eyebrows furrow in frustration as she keeps trying to get her fingers out.

Corrin's tongue stuck out of her mouth when she focused all attention on the trap... And her fingers slid out as easy as that. "Nice try, mama!" She glares a little bit at the toy itself. "Dumb thingy..." She looks over to Nok Nok then extends the toy to him. "Hey, lookit this thing!"

Jill has a disappointed expression on her face when Amelia is easily able to see the fingertrap for what it is. "Nothing gets past you, doesn't it?" She looks back at Corrin as she hands the toy to Nok Nok. "I have more of these, if you're interested." She says, holding up the toy pouch.

Interesting...I wouldn't have taken Jill for someone to carry a lot of children's toys around.

Allynna smiles. "I used to love those kinds of toys," she says, eyes sparkling. "Once I got my finger stuck in one for nearly an hour."

"Well, it appears that the one I have is much simpler than the one you got stuck in. Corrin didn't even take a minute to get out of this one."

Allynna laughs. "There was glue involved," she admits with a smile.

"Hmm. Well the person who sold me this wasn't that much of a trickster, I guess."

Allynna shrugs. "I got used to pranks like that growing up."

'Lynna...those weren't pranks, and you know it.

You told me to talk to the people, so stop distracting me. "Who's you get yours from?"

"I was hitchhiking to Waterdeep when I heard of this job and this gnomish toymaker let me ride with him if I bought some of his toys."

Allynna smiles. "That was very kind of him. Do you hitchhike often?"

"No. I was able to do it that time because I had the money. Usually I walk from place to place.

Allynna nods. "Makes sense. Have you traveled much?"

"Yes. I have been on many travels and on one of them, I met Misha. That was a while ago, though."

Allynna nods. "It must be nice, being able to go wherever you'd like," she says with a small smile.

"Well, it's not like I do it out of, how you say, wanderlust, or anything like that. It is more because I do not have a home."

Allynna raises an eyebrow. "Still. I'd give a great deal for that sort of freedom," she says wistfully before shaking her head for a moment. "Do you wish for a home?" She bites her lip. "I'm sorry if I'm being rude, I'm not used to being able to converse this freely."

"You have not said anything offensive. But yes, I would like to have a home."

"Well, I wish you luck in finding one." Allynna smiles.

"Thank you." Said Jill, silently relieved that this questionnaire had ended. "Do they not allow you to speak freely where you come from? Why is that?"

Allynna smiles a little sadly. "Court at the Gate is a game," she says with a shrug. "You have to think about everything you say and how it will be taken and used. It just means I have to be careful what I say there, being able to just...speak is...relieving."
