"Oh my."she mutters. "He's dead. Do you know who that man was? A Vanthampur. His family will not stand for that. Consider yourselves warned my friends."she nods to one of her bouncers, who begins cleaning the mess. "Now get out of here. No more trouble, you understand?"
PLOT RECAP:
1. Shortly after your arrival at the Basilisk Gate, all of you were hired by the Flaming Fist instructed to seek out and destroy Dead Three followers responsible for a murder spree.
2. You went to Elfsong Tavern and met with Tarina, who told you where they were hiding.
3. You went to a bathhouse owned by the Vanthanpurs and entered into the dungeon below and found one of Duke Vanthampur's sons, Mortlock, who explained that his family is the one responsible for hiring the Dead Three followers. Why? The Vanthampurs are trying to cause a distraction for the Flaming Fist - for reasons unknown.
4. Stopping the followers of the Dead Three from attacking innocents, the Flaming Fist can resume their duties to protect Baldur's Gate from having the same fate as Elturel. However, in order to stop the attacks, you must end the Dead Three financiers: Mortlocks two brothers and his mother. Mortlock has fled. You have just killed one of the brothers. The last brother and mother remain at Vanthampur Villa. That should be your next destination.
Even when the party has been ushered out of the ship, Jill is still staring at her blade, which is covered in radiant light. She stops doing so when she gets concerned looks from the rest of her party. "Oh, I'm sorry. It's just that it has never done this before. That is all." She ends the Rite and sheathes her sword again, but takes a good look at her arm as she does so.
