Rivon fires an arrow from behind his rock, taking very careful aim as he fires. The arrow lodges into the dragon's neck, as it lets out a slight growl. Taman calls out to his god to heal Durlan, while at the same time blasting the dragon with a ray of frost. The dragon slides back into the water, and without the aid of the Faerie Fire you are not able to find the dragon.
You wait for a few minutes, but the dragon still does not emerge.

Three stands there tense throughout the few minute wait with an arrow notched and just about ready to fire at the first sign of movement. "You... You guys thinks its dead?" She calls to the others, sounding a mixture of both hopeful and disappointed at the same time. Yet even in assurances, the chimera remained on edge and unable to fully take her eyes off the dark waters for more than a brief few seconds at time. "W-we need to... ow... Ohh... That stings... W-we need to keep going."She suggests, though seemed momentarily taken in by her injuries. "Not unless you guys fancy a swim back where that bridge used to be. Though I doubt even Azuth would see much wisdom in that without first knowing what we can do on land, yeah. Rope, uh.. rope should still be good if you need it."

"It may have reconsidered how easy of prey we were." Taman suggests. He nods onward. "Let us continue, just be on guard in case it decides to try again." He will hold a ray of frost ready to blast the dragon if it comes at them again, but otherwise is ready to move onward in the direction they were headed.

Rivon, ever so quietly, moves to the edge of the water and slips in. Moving as smoothly as a shark hunting for food while also trying not to get eaten by a bigger shark, or, you know, a dragon, he looks for signs of their foe.
Three stammers and looked furtively to Durlan and the rest, half hopeful someone might stop or tie rope to Rivon before the halfling slips beneath the water. For her own mouth refused to find the words before its too late. "Ah crap baskets! Uh... shoot, uh... I hope Mr. Riverz will be alright. Those currents looked awfully bit fast. Uhm.. Rivon slides into the lake to see if he can find any sign of the dragon. After searching around in the murky depths for a few minutes, Rivon finds no recent signs of the dragon. Rivon decides to come up out of the water, not quite sure if he's made it back to where he went in. When he emerges back on shore again, after clearing the water from his eyes, his sees piles of coins, and gems, and other items. Rivon gets the feeling that the dragon is probably no longer around for the moment, but that it will probably return at some point.

Rivon stops dead in his tracks. He's heard tales of dragon hoards, but it has always been far outside his experience.
The idea of taking it all and ditching the others runs across his brain, but no, they have saved his life time and again. They are trusted companions...friends even. He couldn't do that.
...besides, they can carry way more as a group!
With difficulty he turns his back on the treasure. There will be time for that shortly. He moves back into the water and using his incredible swimming prowess he quickly and silently moves back to his friends. (Watching out for the dragon the whole time, of course.)
Stealth: 17
Perception: 22

"I have good news and, umm, gooder news. The good news is that I don't see a dragon anymore. As every cat knows, if you can't see it, it doesn't exist...or something. Anyway, the better news is, he was a bit of a hoarder. I think we may be...what's the phrase...financially secure."
Rivon is anxious to lead his friends to the completely safe treasure chamber.
Three furrowed her brow ridges in thought for a moment, before then nodding sagely in acceptance. She then shook her head as throwing something off, then knelt down if close enough at the time to further inspect the halfling.
"Well the most important is that you're alright! Annnnd since dragon turd ran off like the punk he is... she was? They are? Whatever! Since they ran off, then by the law of acquisition, their stuff is our stuff. And if they want it back, well, they'll need to stop being punks and square up properly!"She declared with a toothy grin. "But uh... you didn't see like a land route to where that hoard was? If not, that's fine.. I guess? Though, it will make it tricky to haul anything big out." She expresses.
But come what may however, the chimera had no intention of letting anyone head over to the treasure pile without her around next time! Just perhaps not as perkily as usually if going by the dark and murky water.

But someplace preferably away from any water would be nice, just in case the oversized acid breathing chicken turd decides they want their money back!"With the presumption her own suggestion would be heeded, Thressa would happily get to sorting and loading the packs of others, as well as dumping out from her own anything "extra" in her own to make more room/secure to better carry the lion share of at least the coin.
Spare healer's kit? Nope, didn't need that. Hand Drum? Well it was a sentimental thing, but... no, she'd ditch that too. Scale mail of questionable condition?! Easy enough to cast aside! Longbow? Rivon trusts his friends to sort out the gathering of the treasure. Two thoughts are on his mind. One, the dragon, rudely, forgot to leave its corpse in the water. That means it might still be lurking. He keeps his bow at the ready in case it decides to show up. Two, there were no signs that the dragon came in here the way the party did. There were far too many things "alive" on the way in for that. It must use a different route. Rivon begins looking around for a different tunnel or passage way this creature uses to get in and out. ...and where it might be hiding right now. He doesn't rule out an underwater route.
Taman Casts Detect Magic and notices that the wand, greataxe, shield, and potions are magical. While Taman is doing this, Three is rambling about what's good and right, then starts tossing things out of her backpack and filling all the bags with coins. Rivon, meanwhile, is waiting for the Dragon to come back, then decides to see if he can find the Dragon's escape route.
Rivon is not able to find any routes that are above ground, but Rivon being the natural fish that he is, also decides to look in the water, and does find a long dark tunnel that leads eastward.
Taman speaks a word, ,calling on his god and sending healing power to infuse Durlan.
healing word
Healing for 6 hp.
He then sends a bluish ray of cold at the dragon.
ray of frost
To hit is a 25, damage is only 2, rolled two 1s...
