"Shere shrugs and addresses Mist and Wine "I suppose you two don't get sarrcasm. But arre you surre you want to go it alone scouting in such a dangerrous place?" He gathers his gear and waits by the door. "I can disappearr and stalk with the best of our kind."
Showing his impatience in wanting to go. His tail moves back and forwards like a snake being charmed.
Then he addresses his new friends
"What is this expedition, about anyway?"
River Mist looks over at Shere and says, "This is how we always do it. One to stay with the group and one to make sure the group doesn't go off track, or fall into bad luck. You're welcome to scout as well if you'd like, but best to go in a different direction as two scouts in the brush make a lot more noise."

For her part, Three had promptly become side-tracked tearing into her snack, so Shere's words largely fell on deaf ears the first time. But with the second request, she's able to at least tear her attention away long enough to look confused between Shere and the rest of the party (who for whatever reason seemed side-tracked themselves?), before looking a little skyward(cielingward? Not sure if walking & talking at this point).
"Uhhh..... I think it was... Twenty-Five Percent of the profits from whatever we find?" She explained uncertain initially, but with a surge of confidence continues. "Yea! About that much anyways from, uh, whatever jade artifacts we find and bring back to our employers. Who, if I remembered right, have their own peeps or whatever that can handle appraising everything 'n all that." She frowned."Though, I think they're more interested in studying them? So, I guess it's more a case of what the old rocks are worthy IF it was sold 'n all that. So, the more we find the better, I guess!"

Three shrugs. "They had offered, like, fifteen at first. But then, uhhh... Either Fujin here or this other guy we met kinda swept in and got us a better deal!"She exclaimed. "Pluuuus, less hassle trying to sell everything off. AND we get to keep whatever else we find with no strings attached! And from the stories I've been told ruins hidden AND ~forbidden~ ruins always have plenty of goodies just laying around."

Toot Toot starts to buzz around the room, not looking at any particular thing or person for more than 5 seconds. "Talk talk talk talk talk talk talk talk, why talk when we can walk?" says to the group. "It will surely be a nice night" he says while casting Druidcraft to divine the weather.
Toot Toot looks down, his face scrunching as he starts to reflect and says to himself "talk, walk, huh, those sound alike. Chalk, gawk, squawk, stalk, balk, lauk, nawk, tawk, hawk. He he he, that's funny" Toot Toot's smile fades as his eyes grow wide "Hawk? hawk, HHHHAAAAAAAAWWWWWKKKK!!!!!!!!!" he spins around panicking "FLY you Fools!!!" After saying this, Toot Toot zips out the door.
With all the commotion happening Flask of Wine opens the door and steps out, River Mist following right behind her. Flask of Wine turns to allow the rest of the party to exit the room before shutting the door. River Mist nods at Flask of Wine, then heads off towards the jungle to begin his scouting. Flask of Wine says to the group, "Well, off we go, to find whatever treasures the jungle and lost ruins have hidden to the ages. Possibly get into a little trouble along the way, and hopefully not lose any of our friends." With that, she too starts heading towards the jungle.

The weather definitely seems no be fairly good for the night, a little muggy, but with a nice gentle breeze in the air.

'Well... that happened!'Thought Three, as she'd once again managed to stuff maw with plenty of raw dino meat at the time. With things seeming finally underway however, Three looks about one last time to make sure she wouldn't be leaving anything behind(except maybe a small mess to be cleaned up later), before promptly following along after the others.
"Hm? Hmmm~ Well~ You and Flask are the most familiar, so I guess you two uphead along with Mr. Fujin. But, I'll be right behind ya!"She assured Shere.

The dwarf raises an eyebrow, seemingly confused by what Three is saying. "I can be headin' the troupe but I's no type'a scout, I ain't any good at spottin' things and I's even worse at bein' quiet. Puttin' me up there would be gettin' us all killed quite a bit sooner than we'd be likin', aie?" "If you wanted to be bein' the front Three, yer more than welcome to be takin' the helm. That or we can be stridin' double-file and we can be walkin' in tandem?"

Traveling the vast lands of Idisten vicariously via my players.
Your group starts to march toward the jungle, after about 30 minutes you have reached the edges. Flask of Wine motions for you to stop and not enter the yet. After about 5 minutes River Mist emerges from the jungle in front of you, picking his teeth with a small thin bone. "All clear up ahead... for now." Flask of Wine then motions for the group to proceed. She leads you along a narrow path that has been marked by years of wear from the denizens of the city. After a couple of hours of travel the jungle seems to have taken back what rightfully belongs to it. The jungle around you teems with life, a vista of movement. Wind rustles the trees and creatures flee through the underbrush as you travers the dense wilderness, hacking through vines and gnarled roots to clear a path. The heat and humidity are almost overwhelming, and you find yourself soaked with sweat despite the trees towering above you -- hundreds of feet tall -- branches so dense as to block out the daylight almost completely. In the distance, massive creatures move and howl, and strange and alluring plants block your line of sight.
You eventually work your way through some of the densest parts of the jungle, River Mist often vanishing, to come back about thirty minutes later with the latest update. You eventually find yourselves among a vast network of game trails. Along one of these trails you find the rotting body of a giant frog with the blade of a shortsword poking out its back.
